DISPLAY CONTROL SYSTEM AND DISPLAY CONTROL METHOD
A display control system includes a mobile terminal device and an in-vehicle device. The mobile terminal device is configured to display an agent image by executing an agent program. The in-vehicle device is configured to display an agent image by executing an agent program. The in-vehicle device includes a detection unit and a display control unit. The detection unit is configured to detect the mobile terminal device as a result of receiving identification information from the mobile terminal device. The display control unit is configured to, when the mobile terminal device has been detected by the detection unit, cause the in-vehicle device to display the agent image. The mobile terminal device is configured to, when the display control unit causes the in-vehicle device to display the agent image, prohibit display of the agent image on the mobile terminal device.
VEHICULAR AVNT SYSTEM, METHOD OF CONTROLLING THE SAME AND VEHICLE INCLUDING THE SAME
A vehicular audio video navigation telematics (AVNT) system includes: an input device configured to receive user input for executing a plurality of AVNT function menus; a storage device configured to index and store the AVNT function menus, a display configured to display a home screen menu including the AVNT function menus; and a controller configured to control the storage device and the display. The controller collects an execution count of each of the AVNT function menus based on the user input, indexes and stores the AVNT function menus in the storage device based on the collected execution count of each of the AVNT function menus, resets the home screen menu based on high-order menus of stored indices, and controls the display to display the reset home screen menu.
REMOTELY CONTROLLING ELECTRONIC FUNCTIONS OF A VEHICLE WITHOUT AN INTEGRATED TOUCHSCREEN
Techniques are described for remotely controlling functions of a vehicle without an integrated touchscreen. According to an embodiment, an auxiliary device is provided comprising a display and a processor that executes computer executable components stored in at least one memory. The computer executable component can comprise a feature acquisition component that determines electronic features of the vehicle that are respectively controlled by electromechanical controls of the vehicle, and a display component that displays a graphical user interface via the display wherein the graphical user interface comprises one or more graphical controls for controlling one or more features of the electronic features of the vehicle. The computer executable components further comprising a remote-control component that remotely controls the one or more features via interaction with the one or more graphical controls as rendered via the display.
REMOTELY CONTROLLING VEHICLE TOUCHSCREEN CONTROLS
Techniques are described that facilitate remotely interfacing with a vehicle touchscreen. According to an embodiment, a method is provided comprising determining touch controls included in a GUI configured for displaying on a touchscreen of the vehicle, wherein the touch controls provide for controlling functions of the vehicle based on first interaction with the touch controls as displayed on the touchscreen. The method further comprises generating a representation of the GUI for display via an auxiliary display of the auxiliary device, the representation comprising one or more graphical controls corresponding to one or more touch controls of the touch controls, and enabling remote control of one or more functions of the functions of the vehicle by the auxiliary device based on second interaction with the one or more graphical controls as displayed via the auxiliary display.
ELECTRONIC DEVICE AND METHOD FOR PROVIDING TRAVEL INFORMATION
An electronic device and a method are described. The electronic device is adapted to be installed on a handlebar of a vehicle, the electronic device comprising: a processor; a communication module; a display comprising a halo-shaped display; a memory for storing therein executable instructions, the instructions upon being processed by the processor, causing the electronic device to: receive, via the communication module, navigational data from a mobile device, the navigational data being associated with a circular visual signal indication, the circular visual signal indication being indicative of at least one of (i) an upcoming directional instruction and (ii) a distance between a current location and an upcoming location associated with the upcoming directional instruction; and, cause to display, on the halo-shaped display, of the circular visual signal indication.
Providing a communications channel between instances of automated assistants
Implementations relate to interactions, over a wireless communication modality, between an automated assistant of an automobile computer system, and separate client device(s). In some of those implementations, the client device(s) can be paired with the automobile computer system, and the client device(s) and the automobile computer system can include separate instances of an automated assistant, which can be associated with different user accounts. In some additional or alternative implementations, particular actions to be performed by a local application of a client device can be advanced via user interaction with the automobile automated assistant, despite a counterpart to the local application not being installed directly on automobile computer system. For example, despite an automobile computer system not having a third-party messaging application installed, the automobile automated assistant can access requested actions to be performed by the third-party messaging application in order to further a requested action. The automobile computer system can transmit, via the wireless communication modality, content to cause the third-party application to further the requested action.
Vehicle integrated computer
An electric vehicle (EV) can include a VIC in operable communication with the EV main computer and the EV infotainment system. The VIC can include a processor, a memory in operable communication with the processor, and a computer-readable medium in operable communication with the processor and having software, such as a hypervisor, stored thereon. The VIC can be configured to have internet connectivity.
VEHICLE AND METHOD OF CONTROLLING THE SAME
Provided is a vehicle including a vehicle communicator configured to receive image information of a home device and position information derived on the basis of a signal transmitted by the home device, a display configured to display an image on the basis of the image information, and a vehicle controller configured to identify a selection area of the home device on the image on the basis of the image information and the position information, wherein the display shows the identified selection area.
DISPLAY CONTROL DEVICE
A display control device is mounted on a vehicle and is configured to control display of information on a display device. The display control device includes an electronic control unit that determines whether there is information to be displayed on the display device, determines whether a predetermined first condition to determine that a driving operation by a user is not required is satisfied, determines whether a predetermined second condition to determine that the driving operation by the user is required is satisfied, controls the display device such that the display device displays the information when it is determined that there is information to be displayed on the display device and that the first condition is satisfied, and controls the display device such that the display device hides the information when it is determined that the second condition is satisfied.
