Implementations relate to interactions, over a wireless communication modality, between an automated assistant of an automobile computer system, and separate client device(s). In some of those implementations, the client device(s) can be paired with the automobile computer system, and the client device(s) and the automobile computer system can include separate instances of an automated assistant, which can be associated with different user accounts. In some additional or alternative implementations, particular actions to be performed by a local application of a client device can be advanced via user interaction with the automobile automated assistant, despite a counterpart to the local application not being installed directly on automobile computer system. For example, despite an automobile computer system not having a third-party messaging application installed, the automobile automated assistant can access requested actions to be performed by the third-party messaging application in order to further a requested action. The automobile computer system can transmit, via the wireless communication modality, content to cause the third-party application to further the requested action.

Disclosed are a vehicle and method of controlling a display therein. Herein, the vehicle supports auto driving. The present invention includes sensors, a display including a display area formed on a glass of the vehicle and a controller configured to cause the display to display data obtained via at least one of the sensors on the display area based on an operation mode of the vehicle and vehicle passenger information.

A method for screen projection in vehicle includes displaying first screen projection data sent from connected first mobile terminals in sub-areas on a display screen; in response to receiving a connection request from a second mobile terminal, establishing a connection with the second mobile terminal; receiving second screen projection data sent from the second mobile terminal; determining whether any target screen projection data having a same data type as the second screen projection data exists in the first screen projection data; in response to the target screen projection data being determined, assigning a target sub-area corresponding to the target screen projection data to the second mobile terminal to project the second screen projection data sent from the second mobile terminal; and in response to no target screen projection data being determined, adding a new sub-area on the display screen to screen project the second screen projection data.

A method for pairing authentication between a vehicle and a mobile device is proposed. After a host computer of the vehicle is operated to send out a vehicle identification code for pairing and the mobile device is operated to select the vehicle identification code, the host computer enables both of a host display of the vehicle and the mobile device to display a pairing code at the same time. After a pairing procedure is performed within a predetermined pairing operation period, the host computer completes pairing authentication between the host computer and the mobile device.

An information provision apparatus for a vehicle is provided with a vehicle-mounted device which comprises a report means for reporting various kinds of information including vehicle information to a user, and a control means for operating the report means, and is connected to an external device via a connection means. Upon receiving a manipulation input signal indicating that a start switch of the vehicle is turned on, the control means operates the report means in order to report to the user that a communication connection between the vehicle-mounted device and the external device is not established, until the communication connection is established.

A personal device may include a display and a processor. The present invention relates to a vehicle driving assist interoperating with a plurality of mobile terminals and a vehicle equipped with the same, the vehicle driving assist comprising: a display unit; a microphone configured to receive voice uttered by a user in a vehicle; a wireless communication unit, disposed inside the vehicle, configured to wirelessly communicate with a plurality of mobile terminals; a position sensing unit for sensing the positions of the plurality of mobile terminals within the vehicle; and a controller for transmitting voice data to any one of the plurality of mobile terminals through the wireless communication unit so that the voice data corresponding to the voice inputted from the microphone can be processed, wherein the plurality of mobile terminals process the voice data through different voice recognition algorithms.

An interface panel or graphical gauge that can host applications from a mobile application platform and display content from the hosted applications on a display of the graphical gauge. The interface panel may include a native operating system supporting an interface application that generates interface graphical output fed by the native operating system to a graphics controller. The interface control system may be configured to support a guest system that generates guest graphical output fed to the graphics controller. The guest graphical output is representative of graphic information generated by the mobile application platform.
