Arrangement for opening and closing an opening in an interior trim piece of a vehicle
An arrangement is provided for opening and closing an opening in a covering surface of an interior trim piece in a vehicle via an adjustable cover element. The cover element has two parallel, spaced-apart racks which extend in the adjusting direction of the cover element and each mesh with an associated toothed wheel. The toothed wheels are rotatably mounted on a frame element connected to the interior trim piece and are interlinked by a rotatingly driven shaft; at least one toothed wheel is connected to the shaft for conjoint rotation therewith. The cover element is adjustable relative to the frame element and thus to the opening as a result of a rotation of the toothed wheels that mesh with the racks. Preferably, the cover element slides under the covering surface of the interior trim piece, delimiting the opening, when the opening is opened.

When an operating input to switch the modes is made while the menu image is hidden, the image display device displays the menu image, and performs animation display that changes a title displayed as active out of the titles from a title corresponding to a mode before change to a title corresponding to a mode after the change.

Wherein during a first state to a second state of the head-up display, the first cover and the second cover are connected to each other and move together in an opening direction; during the second state to a third state of the head-up display, the first cover is separated from the second cover.

Aspects of the present disclosure relate to a vehicle for maneuvering a passenger to a destination autonomously. The vehicle includes one or more computing devices and a set of user input buttons for communicating requests to stop the vehicle and to initiate a trip to the destination with the one or more computing devices. The set of user input buttons consisting essentially of a dual-purpose button and an emergency stopping button different from the dual-purpose button configured to stop the vehicle. The dual-purpose button has a first purpose for communicating a request to initiate the trip to the destination and a second purpose for communicating a request to pull the vehicle over and stop the vehicle. The vehicle has no steering wheel and no user inputs for the steering, acceleration, and deceleration of the vehicle other than the set of user input buttons.

A control panel assembly for mounting to an interior compartment of a wrecker, the control assembly comprising an extendable arm assembly and a control panel. The extendable arm assembly is mounted to the interior compartment and comprises arms which are foldable relative to each other for adopting a compact configuration and an extended configuration. The control panel is mounted to the extendable arm assembly and comprises wrecker controls. The control panel is movable between an inner position, wherein the extendable arm assembly is in the compact configuration and the wrecker controls are located within the interior compartment, and an outer position, wherein the extendable arm assembly is in the extended configuration and the wrecker controls are located outside the interior compartment.

A display system includes a display apparatus with a screen carrier to which a flexible screen film is fastened, and a housing with a housing interior space for at least partially receiving the display apparatus. The display apparatus can be moved through a housing opening between use positions. The screen carrier includes, in a first carrier portion, a first inherent rigidity so that the first carrier portion is bendable and/or foldable. Guide rails fixed with respect to the housing and of curved shape in the housing interior space define a curved movement path for the screen carrier. The carrier portion has guide elements mounted to be movable along the guide rails. A respective guide element is in form-fitting engagement with its respective guide rail transversely with respect to the movement path, such that, during a movement along the movement path, the display apparatus is retained on the guide rails.
