Leather material and vehicle dashboard composite structure
A leather material suitable for being attached to a touch display panel such as a vehicle dashboard is provided. The leather material includes a foam layer and a fabric layer. The foam layer is foamed to provide a leather feel. The fabric layer is disposed on the foam layer, and the fabric layer is color-matched and embossed to present a leather pattern. Base materials of the foam layer and the fabric layer are both at least one material selected from the group consisting of polyvinyl chloride (PVC), polyurethane (PU), and polyolefin (PO). The leather material in entirety has a visible light transmittance of between 40% and 70% and has a resistivity of not less than 10.sup.10 ?cm. A vehicle dashboard composite structure is also provided.
VEHICLE HAVING AN OPERATOR CONTROL AND DISPLAY DEVICE AND METHOD FOR OPERATING SUCH A VEHICLE
The invention relates to a vehicle having a detection device for detecting a property of a vehicle occupant and an operator control and display device which is coupled to the detection device, has a display region and is configured to display information in the display region and by means of which a symbol can be displayed in the display region as a function of the sensed property. It is provided here that the property which is detected by means of the detection device is a position of the vehicle occupant, and the operator control and display device is configured to display the symbol in a partial region of the display region which is determined as a function of the detected position, and to assign the symbol to the vehicle occupant in such a way that when there is a change in position of the vehicle occupant that the symbol follows the vehicle occupant. The invention also relates to a method for operating such a vehicle. The invention makes particularly flexible use of the vehicle possible.
VEHICLE DISPLAY ASSEMBLY
A vehicle display assembly may comprise a transparent element defining a viewing surface, a display element disposed behind the transparent element, and a printed circuit board in electrical communication with the display element. The display element is configured to generate an image visible through the transparent element. The vehicle display assembly may be in communication with at least one of a vehicle sensor and a vehicle computer. The images appearing in the display element may change orientation based on the presence or absence of a vehicle occupant.
Vehicle display device
There is provided a vehicle display device capable of simplifying a configuration for a passenger. A ring member is provided to be closer to the front side (opposite to the passenger) than a half mirror, and thus the configuration for the passenger can be further simplified than the half mirror, thereby achieving a simple appearance. The ring member is visually confirmed through the half mirror thereby to display the ring member and an image in combination like a configuration in which a decorative member is provided to be closer to the passenger than the display as conventionally.
Vehicular display apparatus
A vehicular display device includes a facing member having a hole formed therein, an edge-light light guide that guides lights emitted from LEDs, a diffusion member that diffuses light leaking from the edge-light light guide, and a convex light guide having a main part interposed between the diffusion member and the facing member, and a projecting portion projecting into the hole. The lights emitted from the LEDs are guided to the edge-light light guide. The lights guided to the edge-light light guide are diffused by the diffusion member to enter the convex light guide, and leaves from the projecting portion.
IN-VEHICLE DISPLAY DEVICE
An in-vehicle display device capable of reducing an impact applied to a vehicle body from a lateral direction is provided. The display device includes a rear bezel fixed to the vehicle body, a front bezel attached to the rear bezel, a frame including an outer edge portion attached to the front bezel, a display panel including an outer peripheral edge fixed to an inner peripheral edge of the frame, and a frame extension portion extending from the frame and disposed at least close to a side portion of the front bezel. The display panel is supported so as to be movable together with the frame with respect to the rear bezel by the frame extension portion being pressed by the side portion deformed due to an impact applied from a lateral side of the vehicle body.
IMAGE DISPLAY DEVICE
An image display device includes a display unit provided in a housing and emits display light, a reflection unit that reflects the display light and projects the display light on a display member, a first polarizing unit provided in the housing, is disposed on an optical path on which the display light passes, and polarizes, along a first polarization axis, external light made incident on the housing from the outside, a second polarizing unit provided in the housing, is disposed on the optical path, is rotatably provided centering on an axis along the optical path, and polarizes the external light along a second polarization axis. The image display device further includes an adjustment unit that rotates the second polarizing unit based on condensing information of the display unit and changes the direction of the second polarization axis to adjust a transmission amount of the external light on the optical path.
Decorative composite body
A decorative element comprising a faceted transparent body having a front surface and a back surface, and a coating on at least part of the back surface of the faceted transparent body. The coating comprises a reflective layer of semiconductor material and a layer of lacquer over the reflective layer, and the reflective layer of semiconductor material has a thickness of at least about 400 nm or at least about 250 nm. Methods of making a decorative element, uses of the decorative element, a switch cover comprising the decorative element, and a switch comprising a sensor for detecting actuation of the switch and a cover protecting the sensor and comprising the decorative element are also described.
User interface for a vehicle and a vehicle
The invention relates to a user interface for a vehicle adapted to present visible information; the user interface comprises a two-dimensional display for displaying information on a display portion, and an optical faceplate comprising a contact surface, a three-dimensional display surface for displaying information, and an optic light guide material provided between the contact surface and the three-dimensional display surface; wherein the two-dimensional display comprises a pixel arrangement and a cover layer covering the pixel arrangement; wherein the contact surface contacts the display to transmit information from the pixel arrangement to the three-dimensional display surface; wherein the faceplate is integrated into the display. The invention also relates to a vehicle.
SHAPED PART AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING A SHAPED PART
A method for producing a shaped part that includes: a decorative layer having a front/visible side and a rear/opposite side. The decorative layer has a recess extending into the decorative layer from the rear side. The shaped part includes an illumination and/or display unit with one or more illumination/display elements for displaying a notification on the front side, where the illumination and/or display unit comprises a base body made of a light-conducting material, the illumination and/or display elements are embedded in the base body, the base body is arranged at least partially in the recess in the decorative layer, the display elements are embedded in the base body, and the base body is arranged in the recess. Thus, light emanating from the illumination and/or display element(s) can be guided via the base body, towards the front side, and through the recess.
