KEY FOR TURNING ON A ROAD VEHICLE AND RELATIVE ROAD VEHICLE
Road vehicle comprising a powertrain system; an ignition system for the powertrain system comprising in turn a slot integral with the passenger compartment of the road vehicle and configured to receive and accommodate a key for the ignition of the road vehicle; wherein the ignition system comprises a detection system, configured to detect the presence or absence of the key at the slot, and a control unit, which is connected to the detection system and to the powertrain system and is configured to enable the power supply to the powertrain system only when the key is detected at the slot.
Controlled detachment features of steering column mounted camera
A camera assembly adapted for mounting to an interior of a motor vehicle on an upper surface of the steering column assembly. The camera assembly has mounting features interacting with a mounting structure that cause the camera assembly to separate from the mounting structure upon the occurrence of a collision with an object or through inertial forces acting on the camera assembly. The separation in such conditions is provided in a controlled manner through the use of cam or ramp surfaces provided in the camera assembly or mounting structure. A cable or tether may be attached to the camera assembly and mounted to the vehicle to further control movement of the camera assembly after separation.
VEHICLE MIDDLEWARE
The present disclosure describes a vehicle implementing one or more processing modules. These modules are configured to connect and interface with the various buses in the vehicle, where the various buses are connected with the various components of the vehicle to facilitate information transfer among the vehicle components. Each processing module is further modularized with the ability to add and replace other functional modules now or in the future. These functional modules can themselves act as distinct vehicle components. Each processing modules may hand-off processing to other modules depending on its health, processing load, or by third-party control. Thus, the plurality of processing modules helps to implement a middleware point of control to the vehicle with redundancy in processing and safety and security awareness in their applications.
PROJECTION DISPLAY DEVICE
A projection display device includes: a light modulation unit that spatially modulates, in accordance with image data that is input, light emitted by a light source; a housing that accommodates the light modulation unit; a projection optical system that is accommodated in the housing and projects the light that has been spatially modulated onto a projection surface of a vehicle through an opening portion of the housing; and a cover that closes the opening portion, the cover has a shape whose longitudinal direction is a direction extending from a driver's seat of the vehicle toward a passenger seat of the vehicle, and a front surface of the cover is closer to the projection surface than a reference plane and has a shape as defined herein.
Interchangeable face gauge for an automobile
An interchangeable face gauge structure for automobile gauges comprises a gauge body, a face gauge, a retainer ring and an outer cover. The gauge body and outer cover are combined by means of assembling, which causes the outer cover to be dismountable from and re-mountable on the gauge body. The face gauge is additionally mounted on the surface of the light directing panel on the gauge body, which allows the face gauge to be replaceable with one of the type to the liking of the user after the outer cover is dismounted from the gauge body, improving the variability and visual effect of the gauge body. Further, with the convenience of the outer cover being easily mountable on the gauge body, the user is allowed to replace and mount parts by themselves, adding to the practicality of the structure.
Programmable lighting methods and systems for a removable peripheral bar
Innovative peripheral bar assembly for a transportation vehicle is provided. One method includes retrieving, by a processor of a seat device of an aircraft coupled to a removable, peripheral bar assembly having a plurality of programmable, light emitting diodes (LEDs), configuration information to operate the LEDs; transmitting, by the processor, one or more commands to the peripheral bar assembly to operate one or more of the LEDs; and operating, by the peripheral bar assembly, the one or more LEDs, in response to the one or more commands to indicate non-verbal communication based on one or more pre-defined communication protocols indicating a seat-by-seat status.
In-module media assembly
An in-module media assembly includes a display screen, a media chassis and a shock absorbing member. The display screen has an interior-facing side and a non-interior facing side. The media chassis is mounted to a lower half of the display screen and extends from the non-interior facing side of the display screen. The shock absorbing member has a screen attachment part and a contact part. The screen attachment part is attached to an upper half of the display screen and extends from the non-interior facing side. The contact part is configured to at least one of contact the media chassis and displace relative to the media chassis upon relative movement of the upper half of the display screen towards the media chassis.
Meter assembly
A meter assembly for a vehicle instrument panel. The meter assembly includes a reflector case having a plurality of light guides extending from an inner surface of the reflector case. Neighboring ones of the plurality of light guides have different lengths and extend different distances from the inner surface of the reflector case.
HEAD-UP DISPLAY DEVICE
The present invention addresses the problem of providing a head-up display device having a structure such that the procurement cost of a bezel can be suppressed. A bezel part is integrally formed on a curved wall portion of an upper cover. Since the upper cover is a die-cast product, the curved wall part can be manufactured by one-time casting (die-casting) with a through-hole and the bezel part. Since the bezel part is integral with the upper cover, it is possible to reduce the procurement cost of the bezel part compared to when the bezel part is a separate part. If the bezel is configured as a separate part having a high heatproof temperature, the procurement cost of the bezel increases. However, if the bezel part is formed integrally with the case simply by partially deforming the case, as described in the present invention, it is possible to reduce the procurement cost of the bezel part.
HEAD-UP DISPLAY DEVICE
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a head-up display device capable of providing countermeasures against solar light without using a shutter or a reflective polarizer film. A case includes a first shielding part and a second shielding part that sandwich optical paths between a first mirror and a second mirror and extend to the vicinity of a cross point where the optical paths intersect. The tip end of the first shielding part is located in front of the tip end of the second shielding part. A display is arranged below the second shielding part and in front of a line that connects the tip end of the first shielding part and the tip end of the second shielding part. The first and second shielding parts block external light entering from above an opening and block external light that may enter the case and travel toward the first mirror after reflecting from the second mirror.
