Irrigation System and Method
An agricultural irrigation system and method for irrigating a field includes a water supply pipe supported by a wheeled support or tower. The irrigation system can move in an oscillating fashion across the field while dispersing water. The irrigation system is advanced in a forward direction a first distance, reversed in a backward direction a second distance that is less than the first distance, then readvanced in a forward direction. The system can include a manifold connected to the water supply pipe. The manifold includes drop lines to supply water to a crop below the manifolds. Existing irrigation systems can be retrofitted with the manifold and drop lines.
IRRIGATION SYSTEM HOSE-PULL APPARTUS
A hose-pull apparatus for mounting to an irrigation system mobile tower supporting a fluid-carrying conduit. The hose-pull apparatus includes a swivel, a first pipe section, a joint, and a second pipe section. The swivel is configured to be in fluid communication with the conduit and rotate about a vertical axis. The first pipe section has a first end connected to the swivel and a second end extending outwardly from the swivel so that the first pipe section can pivot horizontally. The joint is connected to the second end of the first pipe section. The second pipe section has a first end connected to the joint so that the second pipe section can articulate relative to the first pipe section. The joint also has a second end configured to be in fluid communication with a supply hose.

The second pipe section has a first end connected to the joint so that the second pipe section can articulate relative to the first pipe section. The joint also has a second end configured to be in fluid communication with a supply hose.
Eccentric swinging stepwise rollback-type reel sprinkling irrigation machine
An eccentric swinging stepwise rollback-type reel sprinkling irrigation machine includes a chassis, a locking-type reel, a sprinkling irrigation apparatus, and a stepwise driving apparatus. A locking channel in a circumferential direction is disposed on the locking-type reel. The stepwise driving apparatus includes a water turbine gearbox, an eccentric swinging mechanism, an upper caliper, and a lower caliper. The upper caliper and the lower caliper are clamped to be mounted on the locking channel. A water turbine is used in the eccentric swinging stepwise rollback-type reel sprinkling irrigation machine to drive the eccentric swinging mechanism to realize an eccentric swing, so as to drive the upper caliper to move up and down to be engaged with the locking channel of the locking-type reel intermittently, thereby driving the locking-type reel to roll back intermittently to automatically reel in a sprinkling irrigation PE hose.
HYDROELECTRICALLY-CHARGED AGRICULTURAL IRRIGATION PRIME MOVER, HYDROELECTRICALLY-CHARGED AGRICULTURAL HOSE REEL PRIME MOVER, AND MOBILE AGRICULTURAL IRRIGATION SYSTEM INCLUDING THE SAME
A hydroelectrically-charged agricultural irrigation prime mover includes: a carriage; a plurality of wheels coupled to the carriage; a fluid supply pipe configured to receive a pressurized fluid; an electric drive system; and a hydroelectric charging system. The electric drive system includes: a battery pack; and a motor electrically connected to the battery pack and configured to rotate at least some of the wheels. The hydroelectric charging system includes: a turbine fluidly connected to the fluid supply pipe to receive at least some of the pressurized fluid; and a hydroelectric generator connected to the turbine and configured to charge the battery pack.
IRRIGATION SYSTEM HOSE-PULL APPARATUS
FURTHER IMPROVEMENTS IN OSCILLATING SPRINKLERS AND OTHER SPRINKLER SYSTEMS
An improved traveling sprinkler is provided in which, e.g., a) a water tank is supported on a support surface of a base member at a forward position of a traveling sprinkler system from a water flow path that extends upright through the base member or b) a water tank includes a float valve contained within a removable cap on a top wall of the tank.
Boat-shaped sprinkler irrigation machine for large-scale farm irrigation canals
A boat-shaped sprinkler irrigation machine is adapted for large-scale farm irrigation canals, and includes a hull, a traveling propulsion device, a sprinkler irrigation device, and an electric control device. A sprinkler irrigation auxiliary support mechanism is disposed on the hull, and comprises support legs and support roller groups. The support legs are symmetrically disposed on left and right sides of the hull, and top ends of the support legs are mounted on the hull. The support roller groups are mounted on bottom ends of the support legs. The support roller group comprises support rollers. The sprinkler irrigation device comprises a self-priming pump, a sprinkler frame, and a sprinkler gun. The sprinkler frame is fixedly mounted on the hull in a position corresponding to a symmetrical center of the support legs, and the sprinkler gun is fixedly mounted on the sprinkler frame by means of an adjusting assembly.
