An apparatus for powering trucks including a power module skid and supporting structure for fitting on a truck. The skid housing hydrogen fuel cell modules, battery sub packs, cooling means and cooling management, and integrated power electronics, to provide an electrical drive train of the truck with a constant high voltage DC power supply. An integrated system using renewable energy to reduce greenhouse gases using one or more trucks, in which an integrated system includes: means for providing renewable energy; means for using the renewable energy to synthesise hydrogen; means for storing the synthesised hydrogen; The integrated system includes hybrid hydrogen power modules fitted to each truck including hydrogen fuel cell modules and battery sub packs so that the battery sub packs and the battery sub packs are recharged by the hydrogen fuel cells.
FUEL CELL SYSTEM
A fuel cell system includes a fuel cell and a fuel cell controller. The fuel cell controller is configured to control a cooler based on a command from a host controller, the cooler being configured to cool the fuel cell. When a predetermined condition regarding the fuel cell is satisfied, the fuel cell controller controls the cooler according to a procedure predetermined in the fuel cell controller, regardless of the command from the host controller.
FUEL CELL SYSTEM
A fuel cell system includes a fuel cell and a fuel cell controller. The fuel cell controller is configured to control a cooler based on a command from a host controller, the cooler being configured to cool the fuel cell. When a predetermined condition regarding the fuel cell is satisfied, the fuel cell controller controls the cooler according to a procedure predetermined in the fuel cell controller, regardless of the command from the host controller.

A system and a method for measuring impedance of a fuel cell stack are disclosed. The system includes: an energy consumption device, a cooling device, and a high-voltage battery connected in parallel to a main bus end of a fuel cell stack; a relay provided at the main bus end and configured to electrically connect or disconnect the cooling device and the high-voltage battery to or from the fuel cell stack; an impedance measurement unit configured to apply an AC current to the fuel cell stack and to measure the impedance of the fuel cell stack; and a controller configured to turn off the relay during measurement of the impedance of the fuel cell stack.

A system and a method for measuring impedance of a fuel cell stack are disclosed. Electric vehicle power distribution and drive control modules
A heavy duty power distribution system is provided that includes an electric vehicle control module and a cable interface coupled with the electric vehicle control module. The electric vehicle control module includes an electric vehicle frame assembly and a power distribution component coupled with the electric vehicle control module frame assembly. The electric vehicle control module frame assembly is configured to support components of the electric vehicle control module on a vehicle frame rail, e.g., behind a cab thereof.
