This disclosure describes techniques that facilitate the sale and exchange of plant growth systems to consumer plant growers. Particularly, a script offering system may act as an intermediary medium that allows merchants to advertise plant growth scripts to consumer plant growers via an electronic marketplace. In some examples, the script offering system may allow merchants to advertise plant growth scripts to consumer plant growers that have expressed an interest or need for a particular plant growth script. In other examples, the script offering system may allow a consumer plant grower to solicit merchant bids for the sale of plant growth script. A consumer plant grower may solicit bids for plant growth scripts that address specific needs identified via key word inputs or sensor data attributable to an existing plant growth operation that exhibits less than optimal plant growth.

The system comprises an array of solar PV panels with a charge controller; a deep-cycle battery with a battery monitor; a switchboard with off/on switches for the array of solar PV panels and a deep-cycle battery; a submersible water pump and pump controller; a data logger in communication with the array of one or more solar PV panels, the deep-cycle battery, the charge controller, the battery monitor, the pump controller, and plurality of ambient environmental conditions sensors; and a water-tight container for housing therein the deep-cycle battery, the charge controller, the battery monitor, the pump controller, and the PLC data logger. The PLC data logger is configured for wireless communication with a remote microprocessor having installed a computer-implemented program configured for receiving wireless communications from the PLC data logger, and processing, summarizing and reporting the wireless communications, to an operator.

An automatic fertilizing apparatus connected in series with a sprinkle watering system. The apparatus includes a liquid fertilizer container having an inlet and an outlet, and a venturi tube configured to sealably fit into the inlet and outlet of the container. The fertilizing apparatus includes a venturi tube that can sealably fit into the inlet port and the outlet port. Water pumped into the venturi tube can produce a partial vacuum that allows the liquid fertilizer in the container to be drawn into the venturi tube through a slot in the venturi tube. The liquid fertilizer can mix with the water stream in the venturi tube and the mixture of water and liquid fertilizer can be dispensed through a sprinkler head of the sprinkle watering system.

Efficient updates to schedules in irrigation controllers

A system and method for managing a schedule on an irrigation controller is claimed. For each irrigation zone, out of a set of one or more irrigation zones, the process begins by receiving input for an irrigation controller for both i) an offset from an irrigation cycle start time according to a master clock in the irrigation controller and ii) a length of run time. Next the offset from the irrigation cycle start timer and the length of runtime is stored in a data structure such as an ordered array. An overall multiplier for the data structure is also stored. Continuing further the data structure with or without the overall multiplier is wirelessly transmitted to the irrigation controller. In one example the set of the one or more irrigation zones are in numerical order. In another example the set of one more irrigation zones is out of numerical order.

An irrigation system comprises an irrigation controller that receives user input and provides a power signal and command and message data to an encoder. The encoder encodes the command and message data onto the power signal to provide a data encoded power waveform that is sent over a two-wire path. The irrigation system further comprises one or more decoders in communication with the two-wire path to receive the data encoded power waveform and one or more irrigation valves in communication with the one or more decoders. The data encoded power waveform provides power to the decoders and the decoders decode the command and message data from the data encoded power waveform to control the irrigation valves according to the user input.
