A method for operating an electric vehicle, in which an automatic unlocking function for a vehicle-side charging interface is activated if it is established on the basis of an ascertained position of the electric vehicle that the electric vehicle is arranged at a public charging column. The activated automatic unlocking function effectuates automatic unlocking of the charging interface as soon as a charging procedure of the electric vehicle is ended and thus a charging cable connected to the vehicle-side charging inter-face is released. The invention furthermore relates to a control device for an electric vehicle.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR EFFICIENT VEHICLE CONTROL

Systems, methods, and non-transitory computer-readable media can determine a trajectory for a vehicle, the trajectory associated with a predicted path to be traveled by the vehicle. A power optimization plan is generated for the vehicle based on the trajectory. One or more power management settings are modified based on the power optimization plan.

POWERTRAIN ARCHITECTURES AND CONTROL ALGORITHMS FOR INTELLIGENT ELECTRIC SCOOTERS

Presented are adaptive propulsion assist systems and control logic for manually-powered vehicles, methods for making/using such systems, and intelligent electric scooters with distributed sensing and control-loop feedback for adaptive e-assist operations. A method for regulating a propulsion assist system of a manually-powered vehicle includes a vehicle controller detecting a user contacting the vehicle's handlebar, responsively receiving sensor signals indicative of a user-applied force to the handlebar, and then determining a net user-applied force based on the handlebar force and user-generated forces applied to the scooter deck. The vehicle controller also receives sensor signals indicative of the vehicle's current acceleration, and determines therefrom a pitch angle of the surface on which the vehicle moves. Responsive to the net force being greater than zero and the pitch angle being greater than a calibrated threshold angle, the controller commands the traction motor to increase motor torque output by a calibrated force gain increment.

This invention is for an inexpensive and cost-effective way to patrol and prevent un-authorized personnel from entering or crossing a special one-way roadway. By having continuous surveillance, with the patrol-vehicles having photo equipment, infra-red equipment, radio equipment for contacting proper authority, and having a siren equipped vehicle, it is unlikely for un-authorized personnel from entering or crossing the one-way roadway.

The road way is having a left and right fence, preferably made with transparent panels, allowing for visual and infrared surveillance. This surveillance allows for instant detection of any un-authorized person or equipment,

The preferred patrol is with a vehicle that is electric and driverless. Signage stating of an addition of an electrified wire, similar to animal-prevention-fence prevents personnel from entering the roadway.

METHOD FOR BALANCING AN ELECTRICAL ENERGY STORAGE MODULE
20190299811 · 2019-10-03 ·

The invention relates to a method for balancing an electrical energy storage module (1) comprising a plurality of units (3) for an electric vehicle (5). The energy storage module (1) is operative according to a first balancing target type. A present operating condition of the energy storage module is determined (S402), and a future operating condition of the energy storage module is determined (S404). Further, there is selected (S406) a second balancing target type among a plurality of predetermined balancing targets (204) based on the present operating condition and the future operating condition, each of the balancing targets being indicative of an energy storage unit characteristic to be balanced in order to achieve the balancing target type. There is further provided to switch (S408) from balancing the energy storage module according to the first balancing target type to balancing the energy storage module according to the second balancing target type.

Railroad system

A railroad system includes a first vehicle and a second vehicle. The first vehicle includes a drive-part, an inverter, an electric storage device, and a control part. The control part controls feasibility of charge or discharge of the electric storage device based on a detection value of any of a charge accumulation amount of the electric storage device, a distance between the first vehicle and the second vehicle, or a voltage value of a power line. When it is assumed that the detection value when charge or discharge of the electric storage device is switched from an allowable state to a prohibited state is a first set value, and the detection value when charge or discharge of the electric storage device is switched from a prohibited state to an allowable state is a second set value, the first set value and the second set value are different from each other.

ELECTRICAL ENERGY STORAGE SYSTEM
