20230124452 · 2023-04-20 ·

A vehicle system and method includes determining that a state of charge of an energy storage assembly of a receiving vehicle is insufficient to power the receiving vehicle to an upcoming location based on a difference between the state of charge and a needed amount of energy from the energy storage assembly to power the receiving vehicle to the upcoming location. The receiving vehicle may be controlled to move to an intermediate location that includes an increased traffic area or to a first donating vehicle location of plural different donating vehicle locations. The first donating vehicle location includes a predicted upcoming location of a first donating vehicle. The receiving vehicle receives energy from the first donating vehicle to charge the energy storage assembly of the receiving vehicle while both the first donating vehicle and the receiving vehicle area moving at the intermediate location.

A vehicle controller includes a processing unit which creates a power-supply plan that ensures a first amount of electric power needed for the vehicle to arrive at the destination from the current location along a travel route. The travel route includes a specified section on which wireless power-supply equipment, among a plurality of power-supply equipment, is disposed. Using weather information including the specified section, the processing unit creates the power-supply plan in which a ratio of a second amount of electric power, which is supplied from the at least one wireless power-supply equipment to the vehicle, to the first amount of electric power is less in a first case in which deposition is determined to be present on the specified section than in a second case in which deposition is determined to be not present on the at least one specified section.

BATTERY SWAPPING METHOD, APPARATUS, SYSTEM, DEVICE AND MEDIUM

Battery swapping methods, apparatus, systems, devices and media are provided in the embodiments of the present disclosure. The method includes: receiving a battery swapping request of a vehicle; determining a second battery swapping time and a second swapping electricity amount based on a first battery swapping time and a first swapping electricity amount, in a case where a first charging parameter is adjusted to a second charging parameter to charge an available battery of a battery swapping station; and sending a battery swapping response to a terminal device of the vehicle, wherein the battery swapping response includes the second battery swapping time and the second swapping electricity amount, the second battery swapping time is a recommended battery swapping time provided by the battery swapping station, and the second swapping electricity amount is a recommended swapping electricity amount provided by the battery swapping station.

ELECTRIC MILEAGE ESTIMATION APPARATUS, ELECTRIC MILEAGE ESTIMATION METHOD, AND RECORDING MEDIUM

An electric mileage estimation apparatus includes a storage device and a hardware processor connected to the storage device. The storage device stores information in which traveling history information is associated with an electric mileage of traveling. The traveling history includes a characteristic of a driver. The hardware processor acquires information about a traveling schedule including a characteristic of a driver. The hardware processor calculates an electric mileage estimation value on the basis of the information about the traveling schedule and parameters calculated from the information stored in the storage device. The hardware processor outputs information based on the electric mileage estimation value.

Device for managing an electric propulsion assembly of a vehicle
11465516 · 2022-10-11 · ·

Disclosed is a management device suitable for managing an electric propulsion assembly of a vehicle. The management device includes: a communication interface suitable for receiving an elevation profile for a predetermined route that the vehicle is intended to take; and a determination module configured to determine, based on the elevation profile, for each of one or more points of the route, a maximum electric power that the electrical energy storage device is configured to supply to the motor at the corresponding point. The management device is further configured to interact with the electric propulsion assembly such that, for each point of the route for which the maximum electric power is determined, the electric power actually supplied by the electrical energy storage device to the motor is less than the corresponding maximum electric power.

ELECTRIC AUTONOMOUS VEHICLE RIDE SERVICE ASSISTANCE

An autonomous vehicle may determine that it has an amount of power remaining projected to be needed to reach a recharging point by autonomously traveling with predefined systems disabled. The vehicle may disable the predefined systems and travel towards the recharging point. Subsequent to the disabling, the autonomous vehicle may determine that it no longer has the amount of power remaining projected to be needed to reach the recharging point. The vehicle may then communicate with a server and request assistance. The vehicle may then travel to an instructed rendezvous point with a second autonomous vehicle, the rendezvous received from the server. The two vehicles may then communicate to allow the first vehicle to leverage a capability of the second autonomous vehicle, responsive to the first and second autonomous vehicles being within communication range, allowing the first vehicle to reach the recharging point via the leveraging.
