QUICK-RELEASE SEAT FITTING
A seat configured for removably securing to a track includes a quick-release fitting for operation by hand to releasably secure a bottom end of a seat leg to a floor-mounted track for facile adjustment and removal of the seat. A threaded stud includes a shaft portion arranged through an opening in an end of the seat leg and a radially extending base. A pivot mechanism has a through-hole arranged around the shaft portion of the threaded stud. A first transverse member and a second transverse member each extend transversely from the pivot mechanism in opposite directions along a pivot axis. A lever is configured to pivot about the pivot axis causing the threaded stud to move up or down via the pivot mechanism, which raises and lowers the radially extending base for alternately securing the seat leg to the track and releasing the seat leg from the track.
Earth working machine having an insertable operating seat
An earth working machine (10), for example a road milling machine (10), recycler, stabilizer, or surface miner, having a propelling unit (22) and a machine frame (12) carried by the propelling unit (22), comprises a working apparatus (32) for earth working; an operator's platform (24), having an operating console (26) for controlling at least one functional device (32, 39) of the earth working machine (10), being provided on the machine frame (12). Provision is made according to the present invention that the earth working machine (10) comprises, in the region of the operator's platform (24), a seat mount arrangement (66) that is embodied to be brought into releasable mounting engagement with a counterpart mount arrangement (76) of an operating seat (62, 64).
DOOR ASSEMBLY FOR DELIVERY VEHICLE
A vehicle includes a chassis, a body, and a door assembly. The body is supported by the chassis, and defines a driver compartment and a cargo compartment. The driver compartment has a cab opening and the cargo compartment has a cargo opening. The door assembly is coupled to the body and provides selective access into the driver compartment and into the cargo compartment through the cab opening and cargo opening, respectively. The door assembly includes a first door and a second door. The first door is movable between a first position extending across the cab opening and a second position extending at least partially across a portion of the cab opening. The second door is movable between a third position extending across the cargo opening and a fourth position extending at least partially across a portion of the cab opening.
Detachable transportation vehicle seat assembly
A detachable transportation seat assembly for facilitated and secure attachment to the rear row of a mass transportation vehicle, which is releasable and replaceable as desired to enable access to vehicle componentry under the rear seat, or behind the rear wall. A pivot bar on the front of a single or a collection of rear row vehicle seats projects to cooperate with a pivot hook retention bracket, to facilitate removal of the seat or seats, or, alternatively, to facilitate the restoration of the seats for use by passengers.
Track assembly for a vehicle component
A track assembly includes a track, a support member, a support member conductor, a first conductor and a plurality of second conductors. The support member conductor may be configured to move substantially laterally and electrically contact the second conductors. The second conductor may be configured to move laterally and electrically contact the first conductor. The support member conductor may be configured to move the second conductor into electrical contact with the first conductor. The first conductor may extend substantially in the longitudinal direction and/or the first conductor may be disposed at least partially in the track. The plurality of second conductors may be disposed such that the support member conductor may be in contact with at least two second conductors of the plurality of second conductors in all positions of the support member relative to the track.
Vehicle seat storage system
A vehicle seat storage system includes a passenger seat including a seatback and a seat base. The seat has a seating condition where the seat is releasably attached to a floor of the vehicle and a stowed condition where the seat is unattached from the floor and the seat base is folded against the seatback. The seat includes risers pivotally attached to the seat base. The risers have a deployed position for supporting the seat base in the seating condition and a folded position where the risers are folded inwardly against the seat base in the stowed condition. An interior sidewall of the vehicle includes a recessed portion sized and configured to receive the seat in the stowed condition. The interior sidewall includes a guide configured to direct the seat in the stowed condition into and out of the recessed portion and support the seat in recessed portion.
ELECTROMAGNETIC SEAT ATTACHMENT AND SEAT POWER
A seat assembly, a multi-passenger vehicle, and a method for attaching seats to a floor of a vehicle that employ an electromagnetic coupling between the seats and the floor. A power supply supplies electricity to the electromagnetic coupling to secure the seats to the floor and is turned off to release the seats from the floor without tools or workers bending down below the seats to remove coupling devices. The seats can therefore be readily repositioned or rearranged to adjust the spacing between the seats. Resident induction coupling is included between the floor of the vehicle and the seats to provide wireless power to the seats.
RAIL ASSEMBLY HAVING A CARRIAGE ASSEMBLY
A rail assembly includes a track assembly, an elongate shaft mounted to the track assembly, and a carriage assembly received within the track assembly. The carriage assembly includes a body portion, an exterior surface of the body portion, a slider bracket fastened to the exterior surface of the body portion, and a gear box positioned within the slider bracket. The elongate shaft extends through the gear box.
ELECTRICAL TRACK ASSEMBLY
An electrical track assembly may include a pair of tracks, including a first track including a first conductor, a second track include a second conductor; and a support member configured for connection with, removal from, and movement along the pair of tracks in a first configuration and a second configuration. The support member may include a first support member contact, a second support member contact, an electrical load including a first load contact and a second load contact, and a manual switch assembly configured to selectively electrically connect the first conductor with the first load contact, selectively electrically connect the second conductor with the second load contact, and prevent current flow (i) between the first conductor and the second load contact and (ii) between the second conductor and the first load contact, the manual switch assembly including a blocking element.
Connector structure
A connector structure in an electric mobility device including a mobility body driven by a motor, a seat unit which includes an operation unit to control the motor and which is detachably attached to a seat attachment member of the mobility body, and a seat height adjustment mechanism which adjusts a height position of the seat attachment member to adjust a height position of the seat unit relative to the mobility body. The connector structure connects a signal line provided in the seat unit to a signal line of the mobility body, and includes a first connector attached to the seat unit and connected to the signal line which is connected to the operation unit, and a second connector attached to the seat attachment member and connected to the signal line of the mobility body.
