Headrest with deployable oblique supports
A headrest assembly and an aircraft passenger seat including a headrest assembly. In embodiments, the headrest assembly includes a center portion including left and right lateral receivers each defining an axis of rotation oblique to a plane of the center portion, and left and right ears each including a dogleg support rotatably received in its respective lateral receiver, wherein each ear is configured to rotate independently about its axis of rotation between a stowed position alongside the center portion and a deployed position oblique to the plane of the center portion. In use, for example, the ears may be deployed to provide a provision for sleeping in which the sides of the head are supported.
Vehicle seat console
A vehicle seat base, also known as a console, movably attaches a vehicle seat on a vehicle interior floor. The vehicle seat is movably arranged parallel to the vehicle longitudinal direction and parallel to the vehicle lateral direction via a first rail assembly running parallel to the vehicle longitudinal direction and a second rail assembly running parallel to the vehicle lateral direction. The vehicle interior floor has a step running in the vehicle lateral direction that divides the floor in the vehicle longitudinal direction into a first floor region lying at a lower height and a second floor region lying at a higher height, and the floor is constricted by wheel housings that penetrate into the floor from the respective exterior, behind the vehicle seat. The second rail assembly ascends towards the vertical vehicle longitudinal central plane from the vehicle exterior running parallel to the vehicle longitudinal direction.
SEAT ASSEMBLIES HAVING FIXED FRAMES AND MOVABLE SEAT CUSHIONS AND MOVABLE SEAT BACKS WITH VERTICAL DAMPERS AND CLAMPS COUPLING THE VERTICAL DAMPERS TO THE FIXED FRAMES
A kinetic seat assembly including a primary seat cushion frame including a rear rod extending between opposite rails, a secondary seat back frame movable relative to the primary seat cushion frame, a pair of clamps provided on the rear rod of the primary seat cushion frame, and a pair of vertical dampers coupled between the secondary seat back frame and the pair of clamps on the primary seat cushion frame, each clamp receiving an end of a corresponding vertical damper. In embodiments, the vertical dampers are arranged in a V-shape such that the vertical dampers are oriented at an angle relative to one another such that a distance between a first end of each vertical damper is greater than a distance between a second end of each vertical damper.
Seat experience system
A seat experience system includes a seat and a controller. The seat has a seat body and a sensor. The sensor is configured to acquire biogenic information of an occupant seated on the seat body. The controller is configured to acquire the biogenic information from the sensor, determine whether or not the occupant is in a resting state based on the biogenic information, execute, if the occupant is in the resting state, control in a first mode to sustain the resting state, and execute, if the occupant is not in the resting state, control in a second mode different from the first mode.
SEAT POSITION ADJUSTING APPARATUS WITH IMPROVED ASSEMBLY
The present disclosure provides a seat position adjustment apparatus with improved assemblability, wherein the assemblability is improved and the weight is reduced by individually modifying the shapes of a mounting part and a gear part and improving their coupling structure, the seat position adjustment apparatus including a driving unit including a motor in which a drive shaft is formed, a gear part, wherein a curved surface part extending along a direction of rotation about a first axis extending bilaterally is formed in an outer portion of the gear part, and the gear part is gear-coupled to the drive shaft, a rod part coupled to the gear part such that the rod part passes through the gear part, receives power from the drive shaft, and moves forward or rearward, and a mounting part, wherein upper portions of a curved plate structure surrounding the curved surface part at a front and a rear of the gear part, respectively, envelop the rod part to form respective through-holes each having a vertical length that is relatively greater than a vertical thickness of the rod part, wherein, in a state in which the mounting part is fixed, a seat connected to the rod part is moved in accordance with a movement of the rod part.
