VEHICLE SEAT ARRANGEMENT
A vehicle seat arrangement includes a vehicle seat arranged to be adjusted between a forward facing setup and a rearward facing setup and a seat support structure. The vehicle seat has three seat parts, where a second seat part is pivotably connected to both a first seat part and a third seat part. The second seat part is pivotably connected to the seat support structure. In the forward facing setup, the first and second seat parts make up a seat back and the third seat part make up a seat cushion. In the rearward facing setup, the first seat part make up the seat cushion and the second and third seat parts make up the seat back of the vehicle seat.
DEVICE FOR MOUNTING A SEAT OR A STANDING PLATE RELATIVE TO A FRAME OF A VEHICLE
The invention relates to a device (1) for mounting a seat (2) or a standing plate (25) relative to a frame (3) of a vehicle. The device comprises a seat holder (4) or a standing plate holder (4a) having at least one flange (7) extending laterally from the seat holder or the standing plate holder. The seat holder or the standing plate holder is pivotally mounted to the frame so that the frame and the seat holder or the standing plate holder can move relative to each other. The device has at least one first vibration damper (8) and/N or at least one stop (10) limiting the possible movement of the at least one flange thereby providing free movement until limits for the pivotal movement are met; these limits are adjustable. The device may also be provided with other kinds of vibration dampers (15, 18) designed and arranged to counteract that vibrations and movements of the frame during driving are transferred to the driver. Hereby a less damaging and more pleasant driving is obtained. The invention also relates to a vehicle with such a device.
Seat-based force nullification systems and methods for seated vehicle occupants
System and methods for nullifying one or more of lateral and longitudinal acceleration forces experienced by an occupant of a vehicle in a seated or standing position while the vehicle is traveling along a travel plane, including: a chassis structure; an occupant cell one of coupled to and defined by the chassis structure; and one or more of a seat assembly configured to receive the occupant in a seated position and a standing platform assembly configured to receive the occupant in a standing position disposed within the occupant cell; wherein the one or more of the seat assembly and the standing platform assembly is/are configured to pivot one or more of: laterally at a longitudinal pivot point with respect to the chassis and travel plane; and longitudinally at a transverse pivot point with respect to the chassis and travel plane.
Vehicle seat with scissor frame arrangement
The invention relates to a vehicle seat comprising a vehicle seat upper part and a vehicle seat lower part, which are spaced apart from one another along a height axis Z and are connected to one another by means of a scissor frame arrangement, wherein at least two damping elements are provided between the vehicle seat upper part and the vehicle seat lower part, the at least two damping elements each extending, inclined at an angle of attack α, relative to a first axis parallel to the height axis.
MOVING AND LOCKING DEVICE FOR SEAT AND PERSONAL MOBILITY
A moving and locking device for a seat and a personal mobility, which is installed in a bottom portion of a seat for a vehicle or a personal mobility, is provided with a floor panel of a vehicle interior in a structure in which rolling movement of the moving device and a locking coupling of the locking device are possible, is capable of freely moving the seat for a vehicle or the personal mobility to a desired position of the floor panel in the vehicle and firmly fixing the seat for a vehicle or the personal mobility.
Movable vehicle module system
A vehicle module system is disclosed. The system includes a track assembly operably coupled with a body of a vehicle. One or more modules may be removably and slidably coupled with the track assembly. The modules include base structure defining an attachment point. A rail feature is disposed along a bottom portion of the base structure. An attachment feature having a retainer for removably coupling to the attachment point to the base structure.
BACKREST FOR A VEHICLE SEAT, AND BACKREST HEAD MODULE
A backrest for a vehicle seat, comprising a backrest frame on which a backrest head support element provided for supporting a seat user in the shoulder region can be pivoted. In particular, the support element can be pivoted via a drive unit arranged on the support element and a lever mechanism which interacts with the drive unit so as to be actuated by an external force.
Vehicle seat having an adjustment function
The invention relates to a vehicle seat having a seat part and a backrest part comprising a first backrest portion and a second backrest portion arranged above it in the seat height direction, wherein the second backrest portion is displaceable relative to the first backrest portion by means of a displacement movement directed at least in the seat width direction, wherein in a first displaced position of the second backrest portion a mechanical interaction is formed between the first backrest portion and the second backrest portion, which secures the first displaced position of the second backrest portion and which can be released by means of a force exerted on the second backrest portion and acting in the direction of the displacement movement.
VEHICLE SEATING ASSEMBLY
A latch assembly for a vehicle seating assembly includes a support plate having an arm. The arm defines a receiving well. A retention member is coupled with the support plate. A latch member is operably coupled with a seat base frame and the arm of the support plate. The latch member is selectively engaged with the retention member. A release assembly is operably coupled with the latch member. The release assembly includes a latch link coupled with the latch member at a first end. A rod link is rotatably coupled with a second end of the latch link and is fixedly coupled with a torque rod. Movement of the first end of the latch link toward a front of the seat base frame is configured to rotate the latch member and the torque rod.
Passenger seat comprising a manually extensible seat element, and passenger cabin area
A passenger seat comprises a backrest and a seat element that includes a first portion adjoining the backrest and a second portion that can pivot between a rest position and an operational position. In the operational position, the second portion of the seat element increases a depth of a seat pan of the seat element that can be used by the user. A locking mechanism is configured to prevent a pivoting movement of the second portion of the seat element from the operational position thereof into the rest position thereof when a weight of a user sitting in the passenger seat acts on the seat element.
