The vehicle may include a first platform movable between a horizontal position beneath a bottom of the doorway and a stowed position parallel to the door. The vehicle may include an occupant compartment within the body. The occupant compartment may include a seat rotatable to face the doorway in an ingress or egress mode. The occupant compartment may include a robotic arm configured to extend along an ingress or egress path through the doorway.

Vehicle occupant protection control device, vehicle occupant protection control method, and program

A vehicle occupant protection control device includes: a seat state detector configured to detect directions of first and second seats inside a vehicle; and a vehicle occupant protection controller configured to open at least one of a first bag body that is opened on a first side in a width direction of the first seat and a second bag body that is opened on a second side diagonal to the first side in a width direction of the second seat in a state in which the first seat faces the second seat when the seat state detector detects that the first seat faces the second seat and an impact on the vehicle is detected or predicted. A first vehicle occupant sitting on the first seat is pressed on the second side in accordance with the opening of the first bag body or a second vehicle occupant sitting on the second seat is pressed on the first side in accordance with the opening of the second bag body.

Seat

A seat including: a seat body in which a person is seated; a seat supporter supporting the seat body on a floor; and a wireless power feeder that is provided between the floor and the seat body, and transmits electric power, which is received from a power source, from a floor side to a seat body side in a contactless manner. The seat supporter includes a rotation mechanism that rotates the seat body in a lateral direction, the wireless power feeder includes: a power transmitter provided to the floor and connected to the power source; and a power receiver that is provided in the seat body and receives the electric power from the power transmitter, and the power transmitter and the power receiver are arranged in a state in which the power transmitter and the power receiver always overlap with each other as viewed from above or below.

SEAT DEVICE
20230095735 · 2023-03-30 ·

A seat device that can easily and reliably achieve the conversion of the state of a seat. A rotation mechanism (40) that rotates the seat about a rotation axis, a sliding mechanism (14) that advances and retracts the seat together with the rotation mechanism (40) from a fixed side, and a drive mechanism (50) that sequentially and directly drives each of the sliding mechanism (14) and the rotation mechanism (40) are included. The drive mechanism (50) includes a power source (51) provided in the fixed side of the seat, and transmission means for directly driving the sliding mechanism (14) first, and then directly driving the rotation mechanism (40), in a process of converting the state of the seat with power of the power source (51). Here, the transmission means is formed by a sprocket (58) rotated by torque of a motor (51), and many holes (59) with which the sprocket (58) is rotatably engaged to transmit the power.

Machine centric control for compaction machines

A construction machine that frequently changes between a forward and reverse direction of movement includes a system and method for operating the machine such that rotation of the operator seat can change the direction and speed of the machine's movement to minimize disorientation by the operator. The machine can be changed from moving in the forward direction to moving in the reverse direction, without changing the position of a propel lever or joystick that is used to control the direction and speed of the machine's movement. Rotation of the seat can be used to proportionally reduce the speed of the machine as the machine nears a threshold for changing direction. The joystick can be a dual axis lever that can move along a longitudinal axis and a lateral axis. The direction of movement and speed of the machine can depend on a combination of the joystick position and seat position.
