The seat adjustment system includes a seat body; at least one actuating unit, configured to adjust a support of the seat body; a sensing unit, configured to obtain and provide seat information and body shape data of a back of an occupant; and a control unit, configured to control the at least one actuating unit; wherein when one parameter of the seat body changes, the control unit makes a portion of the body shape data of the occupant in a pre-defined range via the at least one actuating unit.
Central Electronic Control Unit For A Vehicle
A central electronic control unit (ECU, Ref. 14) is provided for controlling at least one bi-directional direct current (DC) motor (106) attached to a first vehicle seat and at least one electronic device attached to a second vehicle seat. The central ECU includes a micro-controller configured to receive feedback on a positional status of the bi-directional DC motor from a Hall Effect sensor (130). The micro-controller is configured to receive input instructions for the bi-directional DC motor and the electronic device. The micro-controller creates command instructions based in part on the received feedback and received input instructions. The central ECU selectively provides pulse width modulated (PWM) power to the bi-directional DC motor attached to the first vehicle seat and selectively provides power to the electronic device attached to the second vehicle seat in response to the command instructions from the micro-controller.
ONE-WAY DAMPING STRUCTURE AND ADJUSTING ASSEMBLY COMPRISING ONE-WAY DAMPING STRUCTURE
A one-way damping structure (1), comprising a spring (11), a drive element (12) and a friction force generation member, the spring (11) and the drive element (12) being connected such that the spring (11) is driven by means of the drive element (12); the spring (11) comprises a fixing portion (111), a connecting portion (112) and an annular portion (113), the connecting portion (112) being located between the fixing portion (111) and the annular portion (113) and connecting the fixing portion (111) to the annular portion (113), and the fixing portion (111) being fixed; and the annular portion (113) comprises at least half a turn for defining a spring opening which spirally extends in the circumferential direction, and slides relative to the friction force generation member so as to generate friction torque. Also disclosed is an adjusting assembly which comprises the described one-way damping structure (1). A seat height adjuster utilizes one-way damping properties in which the spring (11) of the one-way damping structure (1) generates different torques in different rotation directions; moreover, in combination with a traditional output structure (2) and an installation structure (3), a driver (4) continues to stably defy a fixed load so as to work when the seat is adjusted downwards under the load, and the lifting ability is unaffected when the seat is adjusted upwards.
VEHICLE SEAT
Provided is a vehicle seat that can absorb energy with a link while maintaining engagement of gears in a lifting device. One embodiment of the present disclosure is the vehicle seat including a seat cushion, a cushion frame supporting the seat cushion, and the lifting device configured to raise and lower at least a portion of the seat cushion. The lifting device includes a pinion gear held by the cushion frame, a sector gear engaged with the pinion gear, and the link to which the sector gear is fixed and which is rotatably coupled to the cushion frame. The link is made of a material with a lower yield stress than a material forming the sector gear.
SEAT POSITION DETECTION FOR SEAT ASSEMBLIES
A seat assembly is provided with a seat bottom, a seat back, and a plurality of sensors operably connected to at least one of the seat bottom and the seat back to detect a seating condition of a seated occupant. A controller is in electrical communication with the plurality of sensors. The controller is programmed to receive input from the plurality of sensors indicative of a seating condition of the seated occupant. The seating condition is compared to a predetermined seating condition. An output indicative of the predetermined seating condition is transmitted. An actuator is in electrical communication with the plurality of sensors and operably connected to at least one of the seat bottom and the seat back for adjustment of at least one of a plurality of settings of the seat assembly. The actuator is adjusted to a predetermined setting corresponding to the predetermined seating condition.
