SECOND ROW PRIORITY SEATING FOR VEHICLES

Aspects of the disclosure relate to vehicles capable of autonomous driving. These vehicles may include seats for accommodating different numbers of passengers. In some cases, the seats may be reconfigurable. For instance, a vehicle may include a first row of seating having a first, passenger use configuration. The first row may allow a passenger to sit in a seat of the first row of seating and access user input controls for the vehicle. The first row of seating may also have a second, folded configuration where the first row is in a folded configuration and no longer usable for passenger seating. The vehicle may also have a second row of seating. When the first row of seating is in the second, folded configuration, the second row of seating may still be usable for seating and may include additional legroom for the passenger as compared to when the first row of seating is in the first passenger use configuration.

BABY CHANGING STATION FOR A MOTOR VEHICLE
20170295951 · 2017-10-19 ·

A baby changing station is provided for a motor vehicle. That baby changing station includes a car seat having a seat bottom and a seat back. A cavity is provided in a rear face of the seat back. A cover is carried on the seat back. That cover is displaceable between a first position covering and concealing the cavity and a second position opening the cavity. The baby changing station also includes a storage net carried on a first face of the cover.

Vehicle seat

A vehicle seat, in particular rear seat or rear bench, including a seat part, a backrest pivotally articulated to the seat part, whose position is variable between an upright seating or use position and a loading position folded forwards in direction of the seat part, a locking device arresting the backrest in the seating position, an unlocking device for unlocking the locking device for folding the backrest forwards from the seating position into the loading position, and an electromotive driving device for erecting the backrest from the loading position into the seating position. The unlocking device includes a manually actuatable release element and an electrically activatable unlocking means, so that electromotive erection or a fast manual erection of the backrest of a vehicle seat from the loading position into the upright seating is possible.

Vehicle seat with inclinable seatback

A vehicle seat comprising a seatback pivoting relative to a frame around the first transverse axis, a seat cushion pivoting relative to the seatback around a second transverse axis, a link pivoting relative to the seat cushion around a third transverse axis, wherein the link is further pivoting relative to the frame around a fourth transverse axis, a mechanism for releasing the angular position of the seatback relative to the frame around the first transverse axis, and an actuator, attached under the seat cushion. The angular position of the seatback relative to the frame released, the actuator commands a movement of the link relative to the seat cushion and consequently of the seatback relative to the seat cushion, from a comfort position of the seat to a flat floor position.

VEHICLE SEAT, IN PARTICULAR MOTOR VEHICLE SEAT

A vehicle seat (1), in particular a motor vehicle seat, includes a seat part (3), a backrest (5) and a four-bar-linkage arrangement (10), having a coupler (20), for the at least indirect coupling of the seat part (3) to a vehicle floor (S). The vehicle seat (1) is transferrable from a use position suitable for transporting an individual either into a first non-use position or into a second non-use position. The seat part (3) has a seat-part frame (30), which is pivotable relative to the coupler (20), and a locking device (52), which blocks a pivoting of the seat-part frame (30) relative to the coupler (20) in a first actuating state of the locking means (52). The locking device (52) permits a pivoting of the seat-part frame (30) relative to the coupler (20) in a second actuating state of the locking device (52).

Pivot fitting for a seat, in particular vehicle seat and a seat

A pivot fitting for a seat, in particular vehicle seat, is configured to adjust an inclination of the seat between at least a use position and at least a non-use position. The pivot fitting may have at least one detection unit which is configured to determine if the seat is in at least one of the use position, any intermediate inclined position or the non-use position.

Seat assembly having an actuator member
09731632 · 2017-08-15 · ·

A seat assembly having a seat back pivotally disposed on a seat bottom. The seat assembly may include an actuator member that may be configured to rotate about a first axis and a cam member that may be configured to rotate about a second axis that may be spaced apart from the first axis.

ADJUSTMENT MECHANISM FOR SEATING ASSEMBLY MEMBER

A seating assembly having a seating assembly frame that includes a seat frame and a seatback frame. The seating assembly includes an extension member coupled to the seat frame and movable in response to an actuating force between an extended position relative to the seat frame and a compressed position relative to the seat frame and including an end fixedly coupled to the seat frame and an end coupled to an adjustment device disposed on the seat frame.

AUTOMOBILE SEAT
20170225596 · 2017-08-10 ·

An automobile seat includes a right seat, a center seat, and a left seat. The center seat includes a center seat cushion and a center seat back having one end rotatably supported for reclining to the side of the center seat cushion and raising therefrom. A belt is attached to the center seat back, while being grasped by a hand of a passenger for reclining to the side of the center seat cushion to be brought into abutment on the skin of the seat cushion. The thus configured automobile seat reduces fricative sound generated by collision and friction between the center seat back and the center seat cushion owing to movement up and down of the automobile in the reclined state, resulting in alleviated discomfort given to the passenger.

Seat adjuster

A vehicle seat may be adjusted to reposition the vehicle seat within a vehicle or a seat back with respect to a seat bottom of the vehicle seat. The vehicle seat may slide longitudinally relative to a floor of the vehicle. The seats back may fold toward or away from the seat bottom and the seat bottom may fold toward or away from the vehicle floor. Adjustments may be initiated electronically or manually.
