A seating arrangement for a vehicle is shown to include a plurality of seats, including at least two front seats, at least two rear seats, and a rear jump seat positioned intermediate the two rear seats. The jump seat comprises a seat back which is positioned rearwardly of the rear seats, and the rear seats are movable laterally between a first position where the rear seats are proximate to each other and generally covering the seat back of the jump seat, and a second position where the rear seats are spaced apart from each other and the seat back of the jump seat is exposed. The arrangement may also include rear seats which are rotatable relative to the seat backs to provide a storage surface.

A detent assembly is rotatably coupled to the seat base, the detent assembly actuatable between a use condition for operatively coupling the at least one link and the detent assembly, and an override condition for decoupling the at least one link and the detent assembly. A linkage motor is operatively engaged with the detent assembly for pivoting the at least one link to move the seat assembly between a plurality of positions. Actuation of the detent assembly from the use condition to the override condition allows for manual pivoting of the at least one link to move the seat assembly between the plurality of positions in situations where the linkage motor is unable to be actuated.

Rotation of the probe is restricted when the stopper is inserted into the locking groove.

The engaging member engages the receiving member to couple the seat base with the backrest.

A vehicle seating arrangement includes a first seating assembly, a second seating assembly, and a third seating assembly. The second seating assembly is adjacent to the first seating assembly. Each of the first, second, and third seating assemblies include a seat and a seatback. The seatbacks are pivotably coupled to their respective seats such that the seatbacks are each pivotable between a use position and a forward-dumped position. A remote control is positioned on at least one of the first seating assembly, the second seating assembly, and the third seating assembly. Actuation of the remote control in a first direction transitions the seatback of the first seating assembly toward the forward-dumped position. Actuation of the remote control in a second direction transitions the seatback of at least one of the second and third seating assemblies toward the forward-dumped position.
