Passenger seat with movable backrest portion
A passenger seat having improved backrest comfort features. The passenger seat has a backrest with a movable portion. In one example, the movable portion is defined by an upper backrest portion that can slide up and away from a lower backrest portion to provide a gap between the two portions. The gap 5 may provide an arm or elbow rest for a seat occupant. The movability of the backrest can also provide enhanced comfort for the seat occupant by allowing adjustability of the head rest portion. In other examples, the movable portion comprises the entire backrest of the seat. When in a raised position, the backrest may also provide enhanced privacy to the seat occupant.
Motor vehicle
A motor vehicle including at least one individual seat is provided. The individual seat includes a seat part and a backrest. The seat part has a seat-part main shell and seat-part side shells arranged thereon on respective sides. The backrest has a backrest main shell and backrest side shells arranged thereon on respective sides. A rail system is provided, which moves the respective seat-part side shell and/or the respective backrest side shell in a desired or specified position by way of actuators.
CHILD SAFETY SEAT
A child safety seat includes a seat portion, a backrest assembly connected with the seat portion and including a first and a second portion slidably connected with each other and a third portion slidably connected with the second portion, and a backrest adjusting system carried with the backrest assembly and configured to provide a first stage of height adjustment where the first and second portions are locked with each other and the third portion is movable relative to the first and second portions for adjustment, and a second stage of height adjustment where the second portion is locked with the third portion and unlocked from the first portion so that the second portion and the third portion are movable in unison relative to the first portion for adjustment.
Seat systems for emergency vehicles
A seat assembly for an emergency vehicle can include an adjustable base seat and backrest, a tank support assembly configured to selectively secure tanks of different sizes, and a tank clamp assembly configured to selectively secure tanks having bottom tank ends of different configurations. Slidably adjusting the base seat can cause adjustment of a recline angle of the backrest. One or more pads on the seat can be removable. The tank support assembly can include first and second tank securements and a locking member configured to rotate to selectively dispose the first or second tank securement to secure a tank. The tank clamp assembly can include a fixed foot clamp, a movable foot clamp, and an adjustment device configured to slide the movable foot clamp to selectively clamp the bottom tank ends of different sizes between the movable foot clamp and the fixed foot clamp.
VEHICLE-MOUNTED SEAT DEVICE
A vehicle-mounted seat device includes an SB main frame, a back rest which the back of a seated person leans on, a relay disc fixed to the back rest, a first engagement member fixed with respect to the SB main frame at a position higher than the relay disc, an upper wire for suspending and holding the back rest from the first engagement member so as to be able to swing with respect to the SB main frame with the relay disc being the center, and a height adjustment mechanism constructed to be capable of pulling in part of the upper wire, so that an amount by which the upper wire is pulled in is changed to cause a change in disposed height of the back rest with respect to the SB main frame.
VEHICLE-MOUNTED SEAT DEVICE
A vehicle-mounted seat device includes an SB main frame, a backrest, an SB subframe, and one or more front-back position regulation mechanisms for regulating the position of the SB subframe in the front-back direction relative to the SB main frame. Each front-back position regulation mechanism includes a front restraining bracket secured relative to the SB main frame, a rear restraining bracket secured on the SB subframe, and a front-back wire strung between the front and rear restraining brackets. The rear restraining bracket is deformed such that its front end portion is displaced rearward relative to its end portion upon input of a load greater than a predetermined load. A maximum pulling load of the front-back wire is greater than a load that causes initial deformation of the rear restraining bracket.
Child safety seat
A child safety seat includes a seat portion, a backrest assembly including a first and a second backrest portion slidably connected with each other and a headrest slidably connected with the second backrest portion, the first backrest portion being connected with the seat portion, and a backrest adjusting system disposed on the backrest assembly and configured to provide a first stage of height adjustment where the first and second backrest portions are locked with each other and the headrest is movable relative to the first and second backrest portions for adjustment, and a second stage of height adjustment where the second backrest portion is locked with the headrest and unlocked from the first backrest portion so that the headrest and the second backrest portion are movable in unison relative to the first backrest portion for adjustment.
Seat for vehicles with segmented backrest and movable lumbar portion
A seat (1) comprises a seating surface (2) suitable to receive a user and a backrest (3) adaptable according to the user's needs. The seat further comprises a support structure (4) configured to connect the seat to the backrest. The backrest comprises an upper shoulder portion (6) and a lower lumbar portion (7) and the lumbar portion is movable along the support structure while the shoulder portion remains at a fixed height with respect to the support structure (4).
VEHICLE SEAT HAVING A DISPLACEABLE UPPER BACKREST PART
The invention relates to a vehicle seat having a seat part and a backrest part, which comprises a lower backrest part and an upper backrest part arranged adjacent thereto in the vertical direction of the vehicle seat, a displacement device being arranged with a first section, which is fixedly connected to the lower backrest part, and with a second section, which is fixedly connected to the upper backrest part, the second section being completely displaceable together with the upper backrest part relative to the lower backrest part by means of a displacement movement directed at least in part in the width direction of the vehicle seat, the first section being arranged completely below the upper backrest part in the vertical direction and forming a guideway for the displacement movement of the second section.
Trim cover and vehicle seat
A trim cover for a seat includes: a high extensible skin material; and a low extensible skin material. A joint part of the edge portion of the high extensible skin material and the edge portion of the low extensible skin material has a plurality of highly extensible protrusions and a plurality of low extensible protrusions, the plurality of highly extensible protrusions and the plurality of low extensible protrusions are each formed in a sharp tapered shape and are arranged alternately in an extending direction of the joint part, and at least a part of a boundary line between the highly extensible protrusion and the low extensible protrusion, which are adjacent in the extending direction of the joint part, is deviated from a line segment formed by connecting respective tips of the highly extensible protrusion and the low extensible protrusion to the low extensible protrusion side.
