A seat cushion tilting apparatus may include a fold-and-dive seat for vehicles in which tilting of a seat cushion is independently adjusted regardless of the position of a seat back, and thus, a passenger may realize a desired relaxation posture, where both reclining of the seat back of the fold-and-dive seat and tilting of the seat cushion, in which the front end portion of the seat cushion is raised or lowered regardless of the reclining position of the seat back, are enabled, and thus, body pressure may be easily distributed to the passenger's hips and thighs and fatigue to the passenger's lower body may be reduced.
Dress cover for expendable cushion
A dress cover for an extendable cushion may include a first section and at least a second section. The first section may be fabricated from a first, expandable material and the at least a second section may be fabricated from at least a second material. The first section may include a compressed top surface length when the extendable cushion is in a retracted state, and an expanded top surface length when the extendable cushion is in an extended state. The expanded top surface length may be greater than the compressed top surface length. The dress cover may be configured to have a smooth side profile when the extendable cushion is in either of the retracted state or the extended state. The side profile of the dress cover may be viewable when an aircraft seat including the extendable cushion with the dress cover is in a lie-flat or bed position.
Slouch seat with link arm
A vehicle seat includes a seat base and a backrest. A seat base track arrangement has a fixed track and a moveable track that is moveable along the fixed track. The seat base fixed track is connected to a vehicle seat support or fore/aft track to adjust an entire vehicle seat position. The seat base moveable track is connected to the seat base. A backrest track arrangement has a backrest fixed track and a backrest moveable track that is moveable along the backrest fixed track. The backrest fixed track is connected to a vehicle backrest support. A link arm pivotably links the seat base and the backrest. A seat base pivot connection is formed between the link arm and the seat base. A link arm and backrest pivot connection is formed between the link arm and the backrest and the moveable track.
Vehicle seat
A vehicle seat includes a seat back frame with an upper subframe pivot. A seat back subframe is pivotably connected to the seat back frame at the upper subframe pivot. An actuation assembly pivotably moves the seat back subframe relative to the seat back frame about the upper subframe pivot, between a seat back subframe design position and a subframe recline position. In the recline position a lower edge of the seat back subframe is positioned outwardly relative to the seat back frame with the seat back subframe pivoted to an angle relative to the seat back frame.
Vehicle seat
A vehicle seat includes: a seat main body that includes a seat cushion and a seatback that is connected to a seat rear side end portion of the seat cushion and that is rotatable in a seat front-rear direction with respect to the seat cushion; and a lifter device that moves the seat main body in a seat up-down direction, wherein the seat main body is moved toward a seat upper side by the lifter device in a case in which a reclining angle of the seatback is greater than a predetermined angle and the seat main body is lower than a predetermined height.
Seat assemblies, such as for use in aircraft, and associated systems and methods
Seats and seat assemblies, such as for installation into aircraft, are described herein. In some embodiments, a seat assembly can include a framework configured to be mounted within an aircraft and a plurality of seats coupled to the framework. Each seat can include (a) a seat pan slidably coupled to the framework and (b) a seat back pivotally coupled to the framework and rotatable between an upright position and a reclined position. In some embodiments, the seat back is operably coupled to the seat pan such that movement of the seat back from the upright position to the reclined position moves the seat pan away from seat back to increase the effective recline of the seat.

The invention relates to a vehicle seat comprising a backrest element having a first contact surface which is arranged within a first imaginary plane, and a seat element having a second contact surface which is arranged within a second imaginary plane which is defined by a longitudinal axis and a width axis of the vehicle seat, wherein the first imaginary plane and the second imaginary plane intersect in an intersecting axis, wherein the backrest element is pivotable relative to the seat element about a rotational axis, wherein an inclination angle of the backrest element extends between the first imaginary plane and a central axis which runs perpendicularly to the second imaginary plane, wherein, in a first position of the backrest element, a distance along the longitudinal axis between the rotational axis and the intersecting axis is at least 60 mm, wherein, in the first position of the backrest element, the inclination angle is substantially 10°.
