Various implementations include a seat having a guide track, a base bracket, a first pivot arm, and a second pivot arm. The guide track includes an elongated track having a longitudinal centerline and one or more notches. The base bracket includes at least one laterally extending guide pin slidingly engaging the elongated track and disposable within the one or more notches. The first pivot arm is configured to support a forward cushion. The first pivot arm is rotatably coupled to the base bracket and movable between an upright position and a forward position. The second pivot arm is configured to support a rearward cushion. The second pivot arm is rotatably coupled to the base bracket and movable between an upright position and a rearward position.

PASSENGER SEAT WITH SUSPENDED SEAT DIAPHRAGM

Described are passenger support assemblies for a passenger seat, including an expandable inner frame that attaches the passenger support assembly with a seat frame and an expansion mechanism that allows the expandable inner frame to change in width, and an outer frame that includes two side frame elements connected with the expandable inner frame and extending beyond the expandable inner frame, the outer frame configured to change in width in response to a change in width of the expandable inner frame. A diaphragm can held in tension by the two side frame elements of the outer frame to define a seating surface.

RECLINING CUSHION ASSEMBLY

A reclining cushion assembly for a seat includes a fixed portion and a movable portion mounted to the fixed portion. The movable portion is movable between an upright position and a reclined position. At least one reclining and locking mechanism is mounted to the fixed portion. The at least one reclining and locking mechanism is movable between a first position and a second position. The at least one reclining and locking mechanism is operable to engage the movable portion to transform the movable portion from the upright position to the reclined position.

VEHICLE SEAT SYSTEM

In a vehicle seat system, lowering of a seat cushion further toward a vehicle lower side than a lowerable limit value corresponding to a recline angle of a seatback is restricted by a control device in cases in which the physical build of an occupant is smaller than a predetermined value. This enables a reduction in the ability to restrain the body of the occupant using a webbing to be suppressed.

VEHICLE SEAT

A vehicle seat includes: a seat main body that includes a seat cushion and a seatback that is connected to a seat rear side end portion of the seat cushion and that is rotatable in a seat front-rear direction with respect to the seat cushion; and a lifter device that moves the seat main body in a seat up-down direction, wherein the seat main body is moved toward a seat upper side by the lifter device in a case in which a reclining angle of the seatback is greater than a predetermined angle and the seat main body is lower than a predetermined height.

Vehicle seat having combined adjustment options

The invention relates to a vehicle seat comprising a seat part and a backrest part, the seat part being configured shell-shaped on the lower face, at least one front end of the seat part being displaceable forwards and upwards in a combined manner and the inclination of the seat part being adjustable by means of an adjustment movement of the seat part with respect to a seat support shell arranged below the seat part.

VEHICLE SEAT

A vehicle seat includes a seat back frame with an upper subframe pivot. A seat back subframe is pivotably connected to the seat back frame at the upper subframe pivot. An actuation assembly pivotably moves the seat back subframe relative to the seat back frame about the upper subframe pivot, between a seat back subframe design position and a subframe recline position. In the recline position a lower edge of the seat back subframe is positioned outwardly relative to the seat back frame with the seat back subframe pivoted to an angle relative to the seat back frame.

Seatback-seat linkage mechanism

A seatback-seat linkage mechanism includes two connecting rod assemblies and a seat. The connecting rod assemblies are connected between the seat and the seatback. The seat is mounted on the seat pipes and includes two seat supports, two rear pin support assemblies and two front pin support assemblies. Each of seat supports is provided with a first slide slot and a second slide slot. The rear and front pin support assemblies are mounted on the seat pipes in such a manner that the first pin portion of each of the rear pin support assemblies is inserted in the first slide slot, the second pin portion of each of the front pin assemblies is inserted in the second slide slot, so that, when the connecting rod assemblies drive the seat to move, the seat is able to reciprocate stably along the extending directions of the first and second slide slots.

DISPLACEABLE PANEL FOR SEATING ASSEMBLY

A vehicle seating assembly includes a seat and a seatback. The seatback includes a frame that has opposing first and second frame members and first and second displaceable panels that are pivotably coupled to the first and second frame members. The first and second displaceable panels are movable between stored positions and deployed positions in response to a force exerted on the seatback.

A seat assembly comprises a seat adjuster and a seat including: a seat bottom including: a first seat bottom portion; and a second seat bottom portion pivotably connected to the first seat bottom portion; and a seatback pivotably connected to the first seat bottom portion. The seatback is adjustable about a first pivot axis to a first seatback position and to a second seatback position via the seat adjuster. The seatback is disposed in the second seatback position and the second seat bottom portion is disposed in the raised position when the seat is in a second seat position. A hip point of a user is in substantially the same position relative to the first seat bottom portion when the seat is in the first seat position and when the seat is in the second seat position.
