Recliner for vehicle seat
Disclosed herein is a recliner for a vehicle seat, wherein a plurality of second latching protrusions (51a) is formed on a socket (50) and a plurality of first latching protrusions (41b and 42b), which is latched to the second latching protrusions (51a) when the socket rotates, is formed on two wedges (41 and 42). When the recliner is operated, a loss angle is reduced by simultaneous rotation of the wedges (41 and 42) so that the responsiveness of the recliner is improved.
VERTICALLY HEIGHT ADJUSTABLE SEATBACK FOR A VEHICLE
A vehicle seat includes a seat base and a selectively vertically adjustable seatback coupled to the seat base. The selectively vertically adjustable seatback including a first frame component coupled to the seat base and a second frame component connected to the first frame component, the second frame component being shiftable relative to the seat base.
CABLE ASSEMBLY FOR VEHICLE SEAT HEADREST
A cable assembly for folding vehicle seats having a folding headrest that folds as the seat back is moved to a folded positon. A cable interconnects a headrest folding mechanism with a stationary component whereby movement of the seat back shifts the cable. The cable assembly includes first and second portions that are interconnected by an adjuster rod and a retainer. The adjuster rod and retainer permit interconnection of the first and second cable segments upon assembly of the headrest with the seat back in a manner that permits taking up slack in the cable assembly.
RECLINING SEAT ASSEMBLY HAVING TENSION REACTING MEMBER
A reclining seat assembly comprises a lower seating structure having an inboard side and an outboard side and a seatback pivotally affixed to the lower seating structure, the seatback having an inboard side and an outboard side. A gear system operatively couples one of the inboard side or the outboard side of the seatback to the corresponding inboard side or outboard side of the lower seating structure. The gear system operatively rotates the seatback relative to the lower seating structure. An actuator is coupled to the gear system to move the seatback between angular positions. A metal rod extends between the inboard side and outboard side of the seatback and has an inboard end and an outboard end. A threaded fastener assembly operably couples the inboard end and the outboard end of the metal rod to the inboard side and the outboard side of the seatback.
SEAT RECLINING DEVICE AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING SEAT RECLINING DEVICE
A seat reclining device includes: a first plate having internal teeth; a second plate overlaid on the first plate and having external teeth engaged with the internal teeth; and a holder having a cylindrical portion, an inner flange portion extending radially inwardly from one axial end of the cylindrical portion and opposed to the first (or second) plate and an outer flange portion extending radially outwardly from the other axial end of the cylindrical portion and welded to the second (or first) plate, wherein the outer circumferential portion of the second (or first) plate has a depressed part formed on a surface thereof facing the outer flange portion of the holder, and wherein the outer flange portion of the holder is welded to the outer circumferential portion of the second (or first) plate in a state of being pushed into the depressed part.
Vehicle seat
A vehicle seat may have an angle detection device configured to detect a reclining angle of a seatback, an angle detection reference member configured to serve as a reference for the angle detection device, and a rotation limiting guide unit configured to connect a seat fixing structure to the angle detection reference member and to limit rotation of the angle detection reference member by guiding upward-and-downward and forward-and-rearward movements of the angle detection reference member during tilting of a seat cushion around a hinge structure.
MANUALLY-CONVERTIBLE SEAT FOR AN AIRCRAFT PASSENGER
A convertible seat for a passenger of an aircraft, such as an airliner, including a sitting portion and a backrest portion movable between a sitting position and a laid position, the seat including a mechanism for manual conversion between the positions, which can be actuated by a physical action of the passenger by means of an unlocking lever, without any electrical energy input, in that the mechanism comprises load-compensating means to assist the passenger during the conversion of the seat.
Power lift and recliner release/fold device
A vehicle seating assembly includes a seat base, a seatback, and a recliner heart. The recliner heart is rotatably coupled to the seat base and the seatback and the recliner heart is operable between locked and unlocked states. The vehicle seating assembly additionally includes an actuator having a housing defining a housing tab, a motor, a gear operably coupled to the motor where the gear defines a gear tab and a spring tab. The actuator includes an actuator return spring defining a first and second hook where the first hook is coupled to the spring tab. The actuator additionally includes a lever coupled to the gear, a pulley coupled to the gear, a lifting cable coupled between the pulley and the seatback, and a release cable coupled between the lever and the recliner heart. The release cable is configured to transition the recliner heart between the locked and unlocked states.
Seat back adjuster and vehicle seat having a seat back adjuster
A seat back adjuster for a vehicle seat, said seat back adjuster having at least a fitting upper part, a fitting lower part and a fitting arranged therebetween, wherein a separate adapter is arranged on a side of the fitting upper part or of the fitting lower part facing away from the fitting, said adapter being fixed on the fitting through an opening in the fitting upper part or in the fitting lower part, and wherein a control lever is provided which is arranged on the side of the adapter facing away from the fitting and is interlockingly and/or frictionally connected to the adapter.
ACTUATING MODULE FOR A VEHICLE SEAT
A module for a vehicle seat comprises a drive cable, an actuator, and a transmission assembly. The actuator is coupled to the transmission assembly to drive the transmission assembly. The drive cable is coupled to the transmission assembly and moves as a result of the actuator being activated.
