Back frame
A back frame, which forms a framework of a seatback, includes a back side frame, a stopper, and an extending portion. The back side frame is rotatable with respect to a cushion frame in seat front-rear directions. The stopper is fixed to the back side frame and includes a contact portion. When the contact portion contacts a contact target portion that is immobile with respect to the cushion frame, the stopper restricts rotation of the back side frame. The extending portion extends from the stopper in the seat front-rear directions. The extending portion is fixed to the back side frame in at least a part of the extending portion.
Seating assembly with fold flat seatback
A vehicle seating assembly has a seat, a seatback and a bracket extending between the seat and the seatback with a first pivotable coupling between the bracket and the seat, a second pivotable coupling between the bracket and the seatback, and a sector gear portion with a gear assembly including a spur gear. The sector gear portion is disposed along an edge of the bracket, wherein the spur gear is rotatable to engage the sector gear portion of the bracket to move the bracket from a first position to a second position to move the second pivotable coupling from a primary position to a secondary position.
High torque load power rotary recliner with anti-back drive capability and reduced backlash for car seat
A recliner mechanism includes first, second and third locking plates and a fastener. The first locking plate has a first inner diametrical surface having first teeth formed thereon. The second locking plate has a second inner diametrical surface having second teeth formed thereon. One or both of the first and second locking plates may include an aperture extending therethrough. The third locking plate has an outer diametrical surface having third teeth formed thereon. Some of the third teeth are meshingly engaged with some of the first teeth and some of the second teeth. The fastener may extend through the aperture and is attached to one of a seatback and a seat bottom.
Seating assembly with load floor
A vehicle seating assembly includes a seat including a side bracket, a seatback, a displaceable bracket extending between the seatback and the side bracket, a pivotable seatback coupling between the displaceable bracket and the seatback, and a movement assembly operably coupling the displaceable bracket to the side bracket. The movement assembly is positionable between a design position and a fully deployed position to move the displaceable bracket between a first position and a second position, respectively, and to move the pivotable seatback coupling between a primary positon and a secondary position, respectively, wherein, when the pivotable seatback coupling is in a secondary position, the seatback is movable between a forward inclined position and a substantially flat position.
Vehicle Seat and Angle Adjustment Device Thereof
A vehicle seat and an angle adjustment device thereof. The angle adjustment device comprises an unlock cam (3), a ratchet wheel (2) provided with internal teeth, and a plurality of slide blocks (4) disposed circumferentially and provided with external teeth. The angle adjustment device further comprises a plurality of extension and retraction blocks (6) corresponding to the slide blocks (4), wherein the extension and retraction block (6) is capable of driving the slide block (4) to move outwards in a radial direction so as to engage the internal teeth with the external teeth. A second elastic member (52) is provided between two adjacent extension and retraction blocks (6), and two ends of the second elastic member (52) in a deformation direction are respectively connected to the unlock cam (3) and the extension and retraction block (6).
Vehicle seat reclining device
In this vehicle seat reclining device, the annular protrusion of a ratchet has a first region, a second region, and a third region, which are arranged circumferentially, and the outer side surface of the ratchet has a fourth region. The protrusion is shaped so that the third region extends further radially outward than the second region. As a result, the portion of the fourth region, which corresponds to the third region, extends further radially outward than the portion of the fourth region, which corresponds to the second region.
Vehicle seat operating device
A vehicle seat operating device has a reclining lever, a lifting lever and a getting in/out support lever for rotating a vehicle seat in a horizontal plane. A reclining lever operation surface and a lifting lever underside operation surface are accessible from a side of the seat. The getting in/out support lever has a recess section which is formed toward the front, and an operation surface which is a ceiling surface of the recess is accessible from the front. Side access to the operation surface is blocked by an out sidewall located on a seat width direction outer side of the operation surface. The getting in/out support lever is easily distinguished from the other two levers because accessible directions are different.
Vehicle seat having a displaceable upper backrest part
The invention relates to a vehicle seat having a seat part and a backrest part, which comprises a lower backrest part and an upper backrest part arranged adjacent thereto in the vertical direction of the vehicle seat, a displacement device being arranged with a first section, which is fixedly connected to the lower backrest part, and with a second section, which is fixedly connected to the upper backrest part, the second section being completely displaceable together with the upper backrest part relative to the lower backrest part by means of a displacement movement directed at least in part in the width direction of the vehicle seat, the first section being arranged completely below the upper backrest part in the vertical direction and forming a guideway for the displacement movement of the second section.
Reclining apparatus
A reclining apparatus includes an inner tooth member, an outer tooth member, a pair of wedges, an urging member that urges the pair of wedges, and a striker that moves the pair of wedges. Each of the pair of wedges includes a wedge body, a first end portion, a second end portion, and a protrusion. The striker includes a pair of pressing portions that presses the protrusion. Each of the pressing portions includes a pressing site having a pressing surface that presses the protrusion, and a movement restraining site that is provided on an opposite side of the pressing surface in the pressing site and restrains the wedge from moving.
MOTOR VEHICLE SEAT LOCKING DEVICE
A motor vehicle seat locking device, in particular a rear seat backrest locking device, equipped with a retaining bracket that is connected to a vehicle body and can move relative thereto, and with a catch, seat-mounted, for the retaining bracket. According to the invention, the retaining bracket is connected to a rocker that can pivot with respect to a vehicle body-mounted base, about an axis that is at a distance from the bracket.
