A vehicle seat assembly and a method of controlling a vehicle seat assembly are provided. The vehicle seat assembly has a seat back frame rotatably connected to a support frame, and a seat back frame positioning assembly connected to the support frame and the seat back frame. The seat back frame positioning assembly has an electric motor, and a worm connected to the motor shaft for rotation. The seat back frame positioning assembly has a reduction gearset with a first gear in meshed engagement with the worm and driving a second gear. The second gear is connected to the support frame. A controller controls the motor such that the motor shaft rotates at a first speed and at a second speed greater than the first speed, with the seat back frame is rotated relative to the support frame in response to rotation of the motor shaft.

Adjustable upper thoracic support for aircraft seat

A seat for an aircraft may comprise a seat pan and a back support coupled to the seat pan. An upper thoracic support may be located proximate an end of the back support opposite the seat pan. The upper thoracic support may be configured to rotate relative to the back support. A headrest may be coupled to the upper thoracic support.

SUPPORT MECHANISM FOR A TRACK SYSTEM

A track system includes a track member with an elongate shaft mounted thereto. At least one support mechanism is mounted to the track member. The at least one support mechanism includes a housing. An engagement feature includes first and second engagement members spaced-apart from one another to define a receiving area therebetween. The first and second engagement members are operable between deployed and retracted positions relative to the housing. The elongate shaft is received in the receiving area when the first and second engagement members are in the deployed position.

SEATBACK ROTATING DEVICE

Provided is a seatback rotating device used for a vehicle seat. The seatback rotating device includes an electric motor, an action mechanism, a rotor, and an abutment target portion. In the seatback rotating device, when s seatback of the vehicle sat is placed in a first standing position, the rotor is positioned in a standby state that creates a gap between a first protrusion and the abutment target portion and a gap between a second protrusion and the abutment target portion, the first protrusion and the second protrusion being provided to the rotor. In the standby state, a gap length from the first protrusion to the abutment target portion is small relative to a gap length from the second protrusion to the abutment target portion.

CONTROL MECHANISM FOR LOCK PAWL

A motor vehicle comprises two front seats aligned in a transverse direction, and at least one rear seat. Said at least one rear seat comprises a seating portion with a seating portion frame, a backrest with a backrest frame. The backrest frame is pivotable relative to the seating portion frame about a first transverse axis, between at least one deployed position for receiving an occupant of the seat and a folded position in which the backrest frame is folded down to face the seating portion frame. Said at least one rear seat is adapted to have a configuration in which said at least one rear seat is in said folded position and the backrest of said at least one rear seat extends at least partly between the two front seats.

Actuator for recliner

Proposed is an actuator for a recliner which can be manufactured with components having simple structures to reduce weight, and functions of a seat operated through different cables are independently performed stably. The actuator for a recliner includes: a casing part, and a drive part provided with a worm wheel gear located inside the casing part and rotated by an operation of a motor, and a rack gear configured to move elastically toward a first or second side of the drive part in engagement with the worm wheel gear, with cables being coupled respectively to the first and second sides of the rack gear.

Seat driving device

A seat 1 has a seat cushion 2 and a seat back 3 and is mounted on a vehicle such as a car.
