ANTHROPOMORPHIC PIVOTABLE UPPER SEATBACK SUPPORT
A vehicle seating assembly a lower seat and a seatback structure extending upwardly relative the lower seat, the lower seat and the seatback structure defining a seat H-point, and the seatback structure having an upper seatback support, a lower seatback support, and a split between the upper seatback support and the lower seatback support. The split is disposed between 270 and 300 mm, preferably about 285 mm, above the H-point along a line extending substantially parallel to the seatback structure. The upper seatback support pivots about a pivot between a rearward position and a forward position relative the lower seatback support. A motorized actuation assembly is disposed within the seatback structure and operably coupled to the upper seatback support, wherein the motorized actuation assembly pivots the upper seatback support about the pivot between the rearward position and the forward position.
APPARATUS FOR RECLINING REAR SEAT FOR VEHICLE
An apparatus for reclining a rear seat for a vehicle is provided. The apparatus includes a seat cushion frame that is connected to a floor via an operation part and is configured to move forward while rotating when the operation part is operated. Additionally, front and rear ends of the seat cushion frame are configured to rotate relative to the floor, respectively, by a link. A seat back frame includes a guide pin and a lower end of the seat back frame is mounted to the rear end of the seat cushion frame to slide while rotating, and an upper end of the seat back frame is rotatably connected to a vehicle body. A guide bracket is fixedly mounted to the vehicle body, with the guide pin of the seat back frame being connected to the guide bracket to allow the guide pin to slide.
Seat reclining device
A seat reclining device includes: a first bracket including an accommodating portion being open to an outer side of a seat in a width direction; a second bracket rotating with respect to the first bracket; a cam rotating with respect to the first bracket; a spring accommodated in the accommodating portion and biasing the cam; a pawl moved in a radial direction of the first bracket based on the rotation of the cam and engaged with the second bracket; and a cover covering the spring, wherein the cover is mounted on the accommodating portion and an outer surface of the cover on the outer side corresponds to an outer surface of the first bracket on the outer side or is positioned inside the outer surface of the first bracket in the width direction of the seat.
Aircraft seat with cam followers
The present invention concerns an aircraft seat. The aircraft seat comprises at least one moveable element, and a cam follower arrangement associated with the moveable element. The cam follower arrangement comprises a first cam follower and second cam follower attached to a common bogie. Spreading the load over two cam followers attached to a common bogie may reduce the wear on each individual cam follower. This reduction in wear may result in fewer maintenance tasks associated with the aircraft seat, and may make the aircraft seat more robust.
