Sealed force vectoring flight system
12269624 · 2025-04-08 ·

An aerial craft and sealed force vectoring flight system is disclosed. The aerial craft includes a main body hull, lift jets, a generator, an electrical re-introduction circuit, a hydraulic pump, air flow compressors, an RPM sensor, a max speed limiter hydraulic draft by-pass valve, and a battery. The electrical re-introduction circuit throttles the generator into high-velocity rotation and yields excess electrical current to then be applied to the lift jets. The hydraulic pump pulls pressurized hydraulic fluid across a preceding hydraulic drive impellor such that the pressurized hydraulic fluid returns to confinement under pneumatic pressure faster than a discharge of hydraulic fluid. The air flow compressors generate electricity that is re-introduced into the lift electric motors. The RPM sensor and max speed limiter hydraulic draft by-pass valve speed regulate the generator. The battery initially powers the generator.

VISION-BASED POLLINATION SYSTEM
20170042102 · 2017-02-16 ·

Methods and apparatus for a vision-based pollination system. The vision-based pollination system includes a mobile support apparatus configured to traverse a crop field. The mobile support apparatus supports a pollination liquid storage tank fluidly coupled to a plurality of pollen applicators. The apparatus includes pollination nodes including a vision system and a camera. Each pollination node is coupled to and controls a portion of the pollen applicators. In operation, the mobile support apparatus traverses the crop field, each pollination node repeatedly taking photographs of a portion of the crop field, identifying locations for delivering the pollination liquid, and determining when to operate the pollen applicators to deliver the pollination liquid to the identified locations as the vision-based pollination system traverses the crop field.

A device for pollinating plants such as flowering trees. The device is a movable platform such as a drone that has an image capturing device that is in communication with image recognition software. Images of plants are analyzed to detect objects that are consistent with pollen-receiving plants and/or plant areas. Once such plant object is detected, the device automatically disperses pollen in the proximity of the detected plant or plant object.

Corn pollination with unrelated corn pollen

This invention describes a new method of grain production in corn wherein a designated female corn plant is pollinated with designated male corn plant pollen from an unrelated genetic background. In the method, a designated female plant having both female and male components is grown. Intentional pollination may occur on one more days, is intentional, and occurs at a time when male components are not male sterile and are not shedding pollen. Accordingly, the process involves the intentional delivery of unrelated designated male plant pollen at will, as available either in a preserved pollen bank or real-time collection from male plants as they become available, in a growth chamber for example. The delivered designated male plant pollen is in such amounts and fortuitously timed that it preferentially cross-pollinates the designated female plant.

Plant pollination control structures

A pollination control structure comprises a support; a plurality of support fixings, each support fixing being attached to or integral with the support, and; a barrier member comprising a plurality of barrier member pieces. At least one of the barrier member pieces is releasably attached to at least one of the support fixings by an intermediate fixing. The barrier member piece is releasably attached to the intermediate fixing, and the intermediate fixing is releasably attached to the support fixing.

Airflow control for agricultural pollination

A computer-implemented method for airflow control for agricultural pollination is disclosed. The computer-implemented method includes performing image analysis on an agricultural image to determine a type and classification of one or more plants in the agricultural image, determining one or more pollination requirements for the one or more determined plants, determining one or more current airflow parameters within a predetermined area of the one or more plants in the agricultural image, determining one or more optimal airflow parameters based on the type of plants in the agricultural image, the classification of plants in the agricultural image, the one or more pollination requirements for the plants in the agricultural image, and the one or more current airflow parameters, and generating an automatic airflow adjustment model for optimizing the airflow parameters for the plants based, at least in part, on the one or more determined optimal airflow parameters.

Method and System for Pollination

A method of performing pollination of a flower of a plant, and a system for performing pollination. The method comprises the steps of providing a device for generating an airflow; positioning the device relative to the plant such that the flower is subjected to the airflow; and dislodging pollen from the flower as a result of vibrations caused by airflow-induced instabilities in the flower.

Device and method for pollen collection

A pollen collection device for collecting pollen from crop plants grown in rows includes a housing assembly configured to be mounted on a base for being transported through a row of crop plants. The housing assembly receives at least a portion of the plants as the housing assembly is transported through the row of crop plants. An agitation assembly is attached to the housing assembly for agitating the plants as the housing assembly is transported through the row of crop plants to displace pollen from the plants. A pollen collection assembly is attached to the housing assembly for collecting the pollen displaced from the plants as the housing assembly is transported through the row of crop plants.

Automated precision pollen applicator for row crops

Automated precision applicator for row crops with dual sided applicators that can be used to direct pollen to multiple areas of the plant, as well as to measure phenotypic characteristics of plant fruiting bodies and detect successful pollination.

MULTIPURPOSE AUTONOMOUS POLLINATION AND FERTIGATION SYSTEM FOR A CONTROLLED GROWING ENVIRONMENT

A method for pollinating a plant in an indoor growing environment, said plant having a top, a bottom and at least one anther with exposed pollen, the method including: i. applying positive air pressure on one side of the plant; ii. applying negative air pressure on another side of the plant; whereby the negative air pressure draws air supplied by the positive air pressure on the one side of the plant from the other side of the plant past the bottom of the plant generating an air vortex releasing the pollen from the anther and circulating the pollen to a stigma in a vicinity proximal and distal the plant resulting in pollination.
