Seat recliner for vehicle
A seat recliner for a vehicle includes parts which are respectively used in opposite sides of a seat and compatible with each other. The seat recliner includes: a first flange having guide parts, guide spaces, and a first through hole; a plurality of lock gears having a guide protrusion; a lock cam having a second through hole; a control part having a third through hole and a guide slit; and a shaft penetrating through the first through hole, the second through hole, and the third through hole so that the shaft rotates with the lock cam and the control part.
SEAT ADJUSTER
A seat adjuster includes an adjustable slider, a cam lever, and/or a pivot arm. The cam lever may be rotatably connected to the slider at or about a cam-slider axis such that the cam lever pivots about the cam-slider axis when the slider is adjusted. The pivot arm may have a first arm end and a second arm end disposed opposite one another. The first arm end may be rotatably connected to the cam lever at or about a cam-arm axis such that, when the slider is adjusted, (i) the cam lever pivots about the cam-arm axis and (ii) the pivot arm pivots about an arm-housing axis extending through the second arm end.
Stadium seat having a split back recliner and a vehicle including a stadium seat having a split back recliner
A stadium seat having a seat back structure that is movable from a seat back forward position to a seat back rearward position. The seat back structure has an occupant contact surface. In the seat back forward position, the occupant contact surface has a planar contour. In the seat back rearward position, the occupant contact surface has non-planar contour.
Reclining device for a vehicle seat
The present invention relates to a reclining device (1) for a vehicle seat of the kind comprising a first plate carrying an internal gear (5) and a second plate carrying an external gear (11) configured to cooperate with the internal gear. The reclining device includes a first and second wedge elements (17a, 17b) for exerting a wedge effect and preventing accidental, undesired rotation of the external and internal gears relative to each other. The reclining device (1) further comprises a lock spring (21). According to the invention the lock spring (21) comprises a wedge engaging element (35) that can be brought to abut and engage a lock spring abutment surface (37a, 37b) of a wedge element. Thanks to this arrangement, the lock spring directly interacts with the wedge elements and directly restricts self-rotation of said wedge elements, which avoids any loss of force and function between said lock spring and said wedge elements.
Vehicle seat
A vehicle seat includes a back frame mounted on a cushion frame via a recliner in a pivotally movable manner. The back frame has a support member connected to the recliner, and a seat back shell supported by the support member. The support member has a side plate portion and a rear plate portion facing a side surface and a rear surface of the seat back shell, respectively, and the side plate portion has a base portion fixed to the recliner, and an extension portion provided to extend more upward than the base portion. The side plate portion is fixed at the extension portion to the side surface of the seat back shell, and the rear plate portion is at least fixed in a region to the rear surface of the seat back shell, the region provided to rise from a lower position of the side plate portion.
Vehicle seat fold mechanism
A vehicle seat assembly has a seat base, a seat back rotatably connected to the seat base and movable between an upright position and a folded position. An arm has a first end region connected to the seat base and a second end region defining a cam surface. A follower such as a pin is connected to the seat back and fixed relative thereto. The follower engages the cam surface when the seat back is in the folded position.
Removable and convertible seat assembly
A removable and/or mountable seat assembly includes a seat back and a seat pan that are pivotally connected to each other via a locking device and rotate about at least one common axis of rotation. The locking device is in mechanical communication with the seat back and the seat pan and is configured to lock the seat back and the seat pan relative to each other about the at least one common axis of rotation. The locking device is configured to selectively lock the seat pan and the seat back such that the seat back and the seat pan lie along the common plane forming the stretcher or selectively lock the seat pan and the seat back such that the seat back and the seat pan form a seat. Additionally, the seat back and the seat pan may be locked in yet another position allowing for the easy transport and/or storage of the seat assembly.
SEAT AND CONTROL METHOD
When reversing a direction in which an angle is adjusted by a first adjustment section and reversing a direction in which a posture is adjusted by a second adjustment section, a control section of a seat provides, before a timing at which a driving direction of a second driving section is reversed, a stop period for stopping the second adjustment section from adjusting the posture, and the control section causes the first adjustment section to carry out a preparation operation in advance during the stop period.
VEHICLE SEAT RECLINING DEVICE
In this vehicle seat reclining device, the annular protrusion of a ratchet has a first region, a second region, and a third region, which are arranged circumferentially, and the outer side surface of the ratchet has a fourth region. The protrusion is shaped so that the third region extends further radially outward than the second region. As a result, the portion of the fourth region, which corresponds to the third region, extends further radially outward than the portion of the fourth region, which corresponds to the second region.
Seat recliner for vehicle
A seat recliner for a vehicle includes a step inserted in an assembly hole of a seat frame and a second flange, and a conventional sub-guide protrusion of a lock gear is removed. The second flange is provided with both a free section and a locking section using only a guide protrusion. The seat recliner includes: a first flange having a plurality of guide parts, and a guide space; a plurality of lock gears disposed in the guide spaces of the first flange; a lock cam disposed on the first flange; a control part disposed on the lock gears and the lock cam; and a second flange including a first part and the second part, and coupled to the seat frame by insertion of an outer circumferential surface of the second part into an assembly hole of the seat frame.
