Control mechanism for lock pawl
11673492 · 2023-06-13 · ·

A control mechanism for a lock pawl comprises an electric motor mounted in a housing that is connected with the seat backrest and has an output shaft with a worm gear engaging with the spur gearing of a transmission gear rotary-mounted on a transmission pivot and having on its frontal surface an eccentric selector pivot for controlling the pawl of the lock, swing-mounted on a pawl pivot between a blocking position, in which the pawl blocks a rotary ratchet of the lock from releasing a catch eye connected with the car bodywork, and an unlocking position, in which the pawl releases the rotary ratchet to release the catch eye, the pawl having a radial selector arm, which in the blocking position of the pawl interferes with the circular trajectory of the selector pivot to enable the selector pivot to engage with the selector arm, whereas the pawl has a radial control arm.

DRIVE SYSTEM FOR A TILT ADJUSTMENT, VEHICLE SEAT, METHOD FOR OPERATING A DRIVE SYSTEM
20170334320 · 2017-11-23 ·

A drive system (2) tilt adjusts a back rest (10) of a vehicle seat (1). The back rest (10) is held on a seat base (11) by a fitting (12). An output pinion (24), drivable by a drive motor (20), is provided on the seat back side and interacts with a tooth segment (18) arranged rotationally fixed on the base (11). A pivot movement of the back rest (10) can be carried out by the drive motor (20) while the fitting (12) is unlocked. The output pinion (24) can be uncoupled from the drive motor (20) by a coupling (22). A compensation spring (14) acting between the back rest (10) and the base (11) pre-tensions the back rest (10) in the direction of the non-use position. A vehicle seat (1) with the drive system and a method for operating a drive system (2) are also provided.

Vehicle seat reclining device

A seat reclining device includes a ratchet, a guide, and pawls for locking relative rotation between the ratchet and the guide. The ratchet has a second convex portion protruding so as to abut against a ride-up protrusion of a main pawl. The second convex portion has, only in a partial region thereof in the rotation direction, a relief concave portion configured to avoid abutment in the rotation direction between the ride-up protrusion and the second convex portion.

SEAT RECLINING APPARATUS FOR VEHICLE

By a contact of an engagement portion of a second memory member to a circumferential wall portion of a first memory member, the engagement portion is restricted from moving in a radial direction in accordance with a lock operation of lock members. By an engagement of the circumferential wall portion of the first memory member with the engagement portion of the second memory member that is in contact with the circumferential wall portion, the first memory member integrally rotates with a first rotary member on a same axis of the first and second rotary members. In a state where a rotation limiting mechanism restricts the first memory member and the first rotary member from integrally rotating with each other, the first memory member allows the engagement portion to slide along a longitudinal direction of the circumferential wall portion.
