A heated tailgate seat is provided. The heated tailgate seat comprises a base with an integrated heating element, designed to fit a tailgate of a vehicle. The device features two side-by-side seating areas with a contoured surface for user comfort, and a central console positioned between the seating areas. The console houses a control for the heating elements and, in some embodiments, an accessory or cup holder. The heating element is operably connected to the vehicle's power source via a trailer plug, providing quick warmth to the seat's surface. The base of the seat includes apertures for securing the device onto the tailgate with bungee cords or similar fastener. A top waterproof layer covers an insulated thermal layer and heating element, optimizing heat retention.
