ADJUSTABLE CHILD DEVICE
An adjustable child device includes a first seat portion, a second seat portion and a belt engaging element. The second seat portion is foldable relative to the first seat portion between a folded position and an unfolded position and is at least partially received in the chamber when the second seat portion is located at the folded position. The second seat portion and the first seat portion are located on a horizontal plane to form a seat part when the second seat portion is located at the unfolded position. The belt engaging element is installed on a lateral side of the seat part and concurrently rotates from a stowed position to a use position when the second seat portion is unfolded from the folded position to the unfolded position. The adjustable child device can be folded when it is not in use, which saves storage space.
SIDE-BY-SIDE VEHICLE
The present invention relates to all terrain vehicles having at least a pair of laterally spaced apart seating surfaces.
Modular transport units and methods of using the same
Modular skid units are provided that are versatile and easily configurable for particular applications. In some examples, a modular design allows for many different combinations of modular components, such as seats, canine boxes, storage boxes, patient transport units, etc. In some examples, the modular and quick release nature of the system enables users to selectively remove and attach the modular components as needed for a given task, including the ability to quickly and easily change the modular components in the field to meet the specific needs of a mission or task. In some examples, the modular components include quick release locking mechanisms that include a set of locking elements for quickly and easily switching components.
VEHICLE SEAT FOR ACCOMMODATING A WHEELCHAIR
A vehicle seat configured to be fixed in a vehicle is defined. The vehicle seat comprises a seat back configured such that when the seat is fixed in the vehicle there is a gap between a lower edge of the seat back and a floor of the vehicle to enable wheels of a wheelchair to protrude through the gap. The vehicle seat further comprises a seat base wherein the seat base is either: foldable between a first position in which the seat base acts as a base to the seat and a second position in which the seat base is stowed against the seat back; or removable from the seat back. The seat base is foldable or removable to allow the seat base to be stowed when the seat is used by the wheelchair.
Removable and stowable vehicle seat system
A removable and stowable vehicle seat system includes a seat that can be folded into a compact form factor and a retainer provided in a cargo area of the vehicle to receive and retain the folded seat. The retainer is sized and shaped to receive the folded seat in a close arrangement to ensure the folded seat stays in place. A strap is also provided with tether hooks to secure the folded seat within the retainer by engaging the tether hooks to body anchors provided in the retainer. The floor recess of the retainer has features to easily receive a folded seat and position it into an optimal resting position. The floor recess may be provided with pads to engage with feet on the base of the folded seat. The pads serve to securely locate the seat within the retainer and to dampen vibration of the stored seat while the vehicle is in motion.
SEAT ASSEMBLY AND CONFIGURATION FOR A VEHICLE INTERIOR
A seating system for at least one occupant in a vehicle interior is disclosed. The seating system may provide a seat assembly comprising a base assembly configured to be mounted in the vehicle interior and a seat structure configured to be coupled to the base assembly and providing a seat configured for movement relative to the base assembly; movement of the seat relative to the base assembly may comprise at least two of (1) recline movement or (2) swivel movement or (3) tilt movement; recline movement may comprise generally translating movement of the seat structure; swivel movement may comprise rotational movement of the seat structure; tilt movement may comprise generally translating movement of the seat structure transverse to recline movement. The base assembly may comprise a mechanism configured to facilitate movement of the seat structure relative to the base assembly. The seat structure may comprise at least one of a shell; the seat may comprise a cushion, the seat structure may be removable from the base assembly.
Interior Arrangements for Autonomous Vehicles
The present disclosure is directed to interior arrangements for autonomous vehicles. In particular, an autonomous vehicle can comprise an interior that includes a plurality of different portions. Each portion of the plurality of different portions can include one or more mechanical interfaces associated therewith. The interior can also include at least one modular interior unit configured to accommodate one or more passengers. The at least one modular unit can be coupled to one or more mechanical interfaces of at least one portion of the plurality of different portions of the interior.
MODULAR VEHICLE SEAT AND PLATFORM ASSEMBLIES
A modular seat assembly includes a seat frame, a seat assembly, and a mounting assembly. The seat frame is operable to be attached to the vehicle and includes a seat support platform. The seat assembly is arranged on the seat frame and includes a seat back and a seat bottom. The mounting assembly includes a support member coupled to the seat support platform adjacent to an inner side of the seat platform and a protrusion extending away from a lateral side of the seat bottom. The seat bottom is coupled to and is pivotable about the support member between a raised arrangement and a lowered arrangement, and the support member includes a resilient recess operable to receive the protrusion when the seat bottom is in the raised arrangement so as to retain the seat bottom in the raised arrangement.
Side-by-side vehicle
The present invention relates to all terrain vehicles having at least a pair of laterally spaced apart seating surfaces.
REMOVABLE ROTATING SEATING SYSTEM
In accordance with an exemplary embodiment, seating systems for platforms are provided. In one exemplary embodiment, the seating system includes a base component and a rotating component. The base component is fixed in position. The rotating component is configured to rotate between a first position, in which one or more occupants may sit on the seating system; and a second position, in which the rotating component may be readily removed from the seating system, without tools. The base component and the rotating have respective mating components forming one or more engagement systems that hold the rotating component into place when the rotating component is in the first position, and that allow removal of the rotating component when the rotating component is in the second position.
