Adjustable seat assembly for a motorcycle, and motorcycle
An adjustable seat assembly for a motorcycle includes a seat pan having a base shell, an adjustable shell, and an adjustment mechanism between the base shell and the adjustable shell. The base shell has a fastening portion for non-adjustable fastening of the base shell on the motorcycle. The adjustable shell is placed on the base shell and are connected via the adjustment mechanism. The adjustment mechanism is configured to adjust the height and/or inclination of the adjustable shell in relation to the base shell. A motorcycle having the adjustable seat assembly is also provided.
Heated And Cooled Seat
A seat assembly for a vehicle having a longitudinal axis includes a seat pan, a cover support adjacent to the seat pan, and a seat cover that has an upper surface, a first longitudinally extending side surface and a second longitudinally extending side surface. A heating and cooling module is disposed at least partially within the cover support. The seat assembly further comprises a first air inlet in communication with the heating and cooling module. The first air inlet communicates air from a first port in the seat cover to the heating and cooling module.
Vehicle seat
A vehicle seat suitable as a straddle-type seat for a two or three-wheeled vehicle is provided, the straddle-type seat being configured to be shifted between a tip-up state and a seated state by a rotation mechanism, wherein there is no interference between the rotation mechanism and the seat. The vehicle seat of the present disclosure has a bottom plate, a seating portion, and a side portion. The seating portion and the side portion are covered by a surface material. In this vehicle seat configured to be shifted between the seated state and the tip-up state by the rotation mechanism, a recessed portion for the rotation mechanism is provided at the side portion facing the rotation mechanism.

Cushioning-material structure for vehicle seat
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a cushioning material structure, for a vehicle seat, that makes it possible to reduce the weight of the vehicle seat while maintaining stable riding performance. A cushioning material supported by the top surface of a bottom plate provided on a vehicle body is provided with voids. This allows weight reduction without reducing the thickness of the cushioning material as in conventional cushioning-material structures, thereby making it possible to reduce the weight of the vehicle seat while maintaining stable riding performance.

Passenger seat having a backrest for a straddle-seat vehicle
A vehicle straddle seat has a base extending generally in a first direction from a first edge. A backrest, formed integrally with the base, is spaced from the first edge and extends away from the base in a second direction generally perpendicular to the first direction. The backrest includes a first surface facing generally towards the first edge and a second surface facing away therefrom. A plurality of ribs formed on at least one of the first and second surfaces extends at least in the second direction. The plurality of ribs is configured to allow flexing of at least a portion of the backrest with respect to the base towards the first edge and away therefrom. The first surface is rigidly connected to the second surface so that the first and second surfaces flex together with respect to the base. Latch mechanisms and vehicles having the seat are also disclosed.
