Seat device
A seat device that is capable of improving body pressure distribution during traveling is provided. In a seat device including a seating seat, in both of end portions in the seat width direction of the seating seat, at positions interposed between the bottom plate and a cushion member of the seating seat, turning plates are provided. The parts of the cushion member, where the turning plates are provided between the same and the bottom plate, constitute turning parts that turn around edges thereof on the width direction inner sides as base points, as the turning plates turn. In the cushion member, slits are formed at boundary positions between the turning parts and a non-turning part, that is, a part other than the turning parts.

Sacral air bladder assembly
A seat assembly is provided with a seat bottom and a seat back mounted adjacent the bottom. The seat back and seat bottom are provided with an occupant seating surface. At least one air bladder is oriented in a sacral region the seat bottom or the seat back. The air bladder has a support surface defined by a enlarged width portion and extends to an elongated tapered portion. When the air bladder is inflated, the support surface is inclined from the taper portion to the enlarged width portion relative to the seating surface.
Motor vehicle having at least one driver's seat
A motor vehicle (1) has a driver's seat (8) which is assigned a safety belt (20) for a driver. The safety belt (20) here is held on a pivotable bracket (13). This bracket (13) is pivotable between a releasing position, which permits entry, and a restraining position, which protects the driver. The bracket (13) here is disposed in such a manner that said bracket (13) in the releasing position holds the safety belt (20) in a position in which the latter impedes the driver. In order to avoid any impediment of the driver in the restraining position of the bracket (13), the bracket (13) above the driver's seat is elbowed away from the latter.
CUSHIONING-MATERIAL STRUCTURE FOR VEHICLE SEAT
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a cushioning material structure, for a vehicle seat, that makes it possible to reduce the weight of the vehicle seat while maintaining stable riding performance. A cushioning material supported by the top surface of a bottom plate provided on a vehicle body is provided with voids. This allows weight reduction without reducing the thickness of the cushioning material as in conventional cushioning-material structures, thereby making it possible to reduce the weight of the vehicle seat while maintaining stable riding performance.

SADDLE RIDING TYPE VEHICLE
A saddle riding type vehicle includes a seat which is supported by a vehicle body and on which a passenger is seated; and an arm rest which is provided to protrude at a side rear position of the seat of the vehicle body and on which an arm of a passenger who is seated on the seat is rested. The arm rest is supported by the vehicle body rotatably between a use position at which a front end part of the arm rest is directed to a vehicle body front direction and a retracted position at which the front end part of the arm rest is directed to a direction other than the vehicle body front direction. A rotation shaft of the arm rest is arranged to be directed to a vehicle body front upper direction from the side rear position of the seat of the vehicle body.

Vehicle with seating assembly
A vehicle is disclosed with a seating assembly which is capable of prompting an occupant to take an appropriate riding posture depending on the behavior of the vehicle body. A motorcycle includes tilting mechanisms for tilting seating surfaces of a front seat (rider seating part) and a rear seat (passenger seating part) and an ECU carries out a control process for tilting the seating surfaces to lift rear portions of the seats upwardly in response to an action to accelerate the motorcycle and a control process for tilting the seating surfaces to lift front portions of the seats upwardly in response to an action to decelerate the motorcycle.
