Crash locking device
Telescopic rail includes first rail and second rail supported against each other to be linearly slidable in relation to each other in an extending direction from a first position into a second position, and locking device. The locking device includes stop element on first rail, mass element held on second rail and movable in relation to second rail in the extending direction or against the extending direction, spring element resiliently pretensioning mass element with a spring force, and locking element. The spring force has a force direction in the extending direction or against the extending direction. Mass element is movable against the spring force from an idle position into a triggering position, and, through a movement of mass element against the spring force, locking element is movable from an unlocked position into a locking position such that locking element in the locking position can be brought into engagement with stop element.
LONGITUDINAL ADJUSTER FOR A VEHICLE SEAT, AND VEHICLE SEAT
A longitudinal adjuster for a vehicle seat having at least one pair of rails. The at least one pair of rails may be formed from a first seat rail for connecting to a seat structure, and from a second seat rail for connecting to a vehicle structure. The seat rails of the pair of rails are displaceable in the longitudinal direction relative to each other and mutually engage around each other to form an inner channel. A securing profile, which is fastened to the first seat rail, is arranged in the inner channel. A rack which is fixed relative to the second seat rail is arranged in the inner channel. The securing profile and the rack are normally spaced apart from each other and enter into engagement with each other in a form-fitting manner in reaction to a predetermined action of force.
INERTIAL LATCH
An inertial latch for a motor vehicle armrest is rotatably connected to a a bracket mounted to a support structure; an armrest interfacing component is disposed in an arcuate slot in the bracket, the slot extending from a first to a second end; a primary pawl rotatable from a first to a second position and limiting motion of the interfacing component in the slot; a secondary pawl rotatable from a third position to a fourth position and limiting motion of the primary pawl; a stop limits motion of the secondary pawl. The armrest articulates from a closed to an open position, the interfacing component moves through the entire slot when the primary pawl is in the first position, the interfacing component is held within a portion less than the entire slot when the primary pawl is in the second position, and the interfacing component is releasable from the portion.
SEAT ADJUSTMENT SYSTEM FOR A SEAT OF A MOTOR VEHICLE, AND MOTOR VEHICLE
A seat adjustment system for a seat of a motor vehicle, including at least one motor driving the adjustment and at least one operating element, which can be actuated by an operator, for at least one adjustment function, and the actuation of which closes a switch provided in a line from the motor associated with the adjustment function to a power supply, wherein a relay is provided downstream of the switch to the motor in the line, said relay being open in the non-energized state, and the seat adjustment system has a control unit which is designed to close the relay when an operating element is actuated and there is no collision signal indicating a collision of the motor vehicle and leaves the relay open at least temporarily if there is a collision signal when an operating element is actuated.
VEHICLE SEAT
A vehicle seat includes a lock-to-neutral-position mechanism that locks a seat cushion at a neutral position, and an immediate lock mechanism that locks the seat cushion immediately at a current position when locking is required. A steering sensor senses a steering angle and a steering angular velocity. The immediate lock mechanism performs the locking when the steering angle is large, whereas the lock-to-neutral-position mechanism performs the locking when the steering velocity is high. When the steering wheel is at the neutral position, the locking by the immediate lock mechanism is released and the locking is switched over to the lock-to-neutral-position mechanism that is in a lock ready state.
VEHICLE SEAT WITH VERTICAL PIVOTING MOVEMENT
A vehicle seat having a pivoting function about a vertical axis, the seat comprising a pivoting assembly) with a base, a rotating ring mounted on the base by means of a hinge mechanism interposed between the base and the rotating ring, a seating portion frame connected to the rotating ring, directly or via a raising mechanism and/or longitudinal rails, the hinge mechanism allowing rotation, about a vertical main axis, of the rotating ring relative to the base and blocking any substantial movement in the other degrees of freedom, namely the other two rotations and the three translations in an orthogonal reference system.
Dynamic Retention System for an Aircraft Seat
The dynamic retention system may include at least one plunger assembly including a plunger base coupled to a base assembly of an aircraft seat and a spring-loaded plunger coupled to a seat frame. The spring-loaded plunger may be configured to contact the plunger base. The dynamic retention system may include at least one hook receptacle coupled to the base assembly, and at least one structural hook coupled to the seat frame. The at least one hook receptacle may be configured to receive the at least one structural hook responsive to the spring-loaded plunger contacting the plunger base. The seat frame may be coupled to the base assembly via an actuation assembly. The aircraft seat may be actuatable between a first position and at least a second position.
Catcher pin for dynamic management of external loads
A vehicle seating assembly includes a frame rail having a rear catcher pin. A seat frame slidably engages the rear catcher pin at a lateral support. A head of the catcher pin is vertically offset from the seat frame in a static condition. During an impact condition, the seat frame deflects upward and engages the head of the catcher pin to define a dynamic structure condition.
METHOD FOR LOCKING AN ADJUSTMENT DEVICE OF A MOTOR VEHICLE SEAT, AND MOTOR VEHICLE SEAT
In a method for locking an adjustment device of a motor vehicle seat, a usage situation and/or danger situation is detected. In response to the detected usage situation and/or danger situation, a locking action for the adjustment device is selected, and the selected locking action for the adjustment device is executed.
Linear inertial lock
An inertial lock assembly is disclosed. In various embodiments, the inertial lock assembly includes a tracking rod oriented with respect to a longitudinal axis, a housing slidably disposed about the tracking rod, the housing including an inner surface having a first portion extending from an apex to a first end spaced longitudinally from the apex, a first sliding member slidably disposed about the tracking rod and within the housing proximate the first portion of the inner surface and a first binding member slidably disposed about the tracking rod and within the housing, the first binding member positioned between the apex and the first sliding member.
