SEAT SUSPENSION
A seat suspension includes a seat support, a base, and a suspension assembly positioned between the seat support and the base. The suspension assembly includes a compressible cushion for containing a gas; and a chamber. The chamber includes a cylindrical hollow member, a front cap at one end of the cylindrical hollow member, an end cap at another end of the cylindrical hollow member, and a piston positioned within the cylindrical hollow member between the front cap and the end cap. The front cap includes an orifice. The orifice provides fluid communication between the cushion and the chamber. When a compressive force causes movement of the seat support portion towards the base, thereby compressing the cushion, the gas from the cushion flows through the orifice into the chamber and directly forces movement of the piston away from the front cap.

A SHOCK MITIGATION APPARATUS
Described herein is a shock mitigation apparatus. The shock mitigation apparatus may be utilised in a marine environment, able to absorb shocks transmitted to a seat system from a structure to which the seat is affixed. The shock mitigation apparatus includes at least one leaf spring wherein the leaf spring is cantilevered at one end and pivoted at a distal end thereof, and wherein the pivoted end is free to articulate upon flexure of the leaf spring.
Adjustment device for vehicle seats
The invention relates to an adjustment device for vehicle seats, in particular for power driven wheelchairs or rehabilitation vehicles, comprising at least one mounting plate and one bearing plate with a lifting device. In order to allow for an individual adjustment of the seat, the lifting device consists of two to four scissor fittings, which are adjustable in height by driving means. Depending on the height setting of each scissor fitting, a lateral inclination or a tilting forwards or backwards can be achieved in addition to the lifting and lowering.
SUSPENSION DEVICE
The invention relates to a suspension device, in particular for a vehicle seat, comprising an upper suspension part and a lower suspension part, which can be connected to one another by a first swivelling connector and a second swivelling connector, wherein a first spring unit can be connected in a first end region on the one hand by means of an adjusting device to the first swivelling connector and can be connected in a second end region on the other hand to the lower suspension part, wherein by means of the adjusting device the position of the first spring unit can be adjusted in order to adjust the spring force and the spring rate of the suspension device.
VEHICLE VIBRATION DEVICE
Vehicle vibration device for a vehicle seat or a vehicle cabin comprising a lower part and an upper part mounted resiliently with respect to the lower part by means of a damping device, the upper part being mounted suspended on the lower part by means of at least one pivot mounting, the at least one first pivot mounting comprising at least one first lever, the first end of which is attached to the lower part by means of a first pivot axis and the second end of which is attached to the upper part by means of a second pivot axis, the second end being positioned below the first end in a vertical direction, at least one dimension of the upper part and/or at least one dimension of the lower part being variable by means of an adjustment device so as to vary the position of the first lever.
Connection bar mounting structure and vehicle seat
A connection bar mounting structure includes: link members, each including a first hole part in a middle part; vehicle members, each configured to rotatably support each link member at a first fixation part of each link member; side frames, each configured to rotatably support each link member at a second fixation part of each link member opposite to the first fixation part across the first hole part; and a connection bar, each end thereof fixed to the first hole part of each link member. Each link member has a first bending rigidity reduced section between the middle part and the first fixation part and a second bending rigidity reduced section between the middle part and the second fixation part, the first and second bending rigidity reduced sections having bending rigidity smaller than those of the middle part, the first fixation part, and the second fixation part.
Vehicle and a System for Operating a Work Implement of a Vehicle
A vehicle is provided. In one embodiment, the vehicle includes a work implement and a cab positioned forward of the work implement. The cab defines a cab interior that includes a vehicle operator portion, an implement operator portion defined rearward of the vehicle operator portion, and an implement operator seat positioned in the implement operator portion that is configured to face rearward toward the work implement. In another embodiment, the vehicle includes a work implement; a cab positioned forward of the work implement; a vehicle operator seat mounted within the cab that faces a front of the vehicle; an implement operator seat mounted within the cab rearward of the vehicle driver seat and that faces a rear of the vehicle; and one or more controls mounted proximate the implement operator seat that are configured for operating the work implement. A system for operating a work implement also is provided.
Vehicle seat
A favorable appearance can be achieved using a simple configuration, even when the configuration is provided with a back shell that moves up and down relative to a back frame. In a vehicle seat 10, the back of a seated person is adapted to be supported by a movable back shell 42 that is supported so as to be capable of moving in an up-down direction relative to a back frame 30. A non-movable back shell 46 that is attached so as to be incapable of displacement relative to the back frame 30 is disposed on a back face side of the movable back shell 42, and the back frame 30 is covered by the non-movable back shell 46.
Passenger restraint system for roller coasters
A passenger restraint system for roller coasters designed to maintain a passenger in an essentially seated or lying posture, with suspended feet. The passenger restraint system includes a fixed column and a seat column designed to support and hold the passenger, which seat column is coupled to the fixed column so as to be displaceable with respect to the fixed column during a roller coaster ride. The seat column is coupled to the fixed column by an articulated linkage, and the passenger restraint system further includes a balancing device ensuring a balancing of the seat column, which balancing device is fixed, at a first end, to the fixed column and, at a second end, to the seat column. The balancing device can advantageously be configured to ensure a vertical travel of the seat column during the roller coaster ride in dependence of a vertical acceleration exerted on the passenger.
