Bumper assembly for vehicle seat
A bumper assembly for a vehicle seat damper includes a bumper cap and a grommet configured to engage the bumper cap. The bumper cap includes a protruding central portion having a supporting rib structure within the protruding central portion. Further, a vehicle seat assembly includes a vehicle seat configured to be removably installed on a vehicle floor of a vehicle, the vehicle seat including a seat damper, and a bumper assembly configured to be installed on the vehicle floor such that the bumper assembly contacts the seat damper when the vehicle seat is installed on the vehicle floor. When the vehicle seat is installed on the vehicle floor, the seat damper contacts the bumper assembly and the bumper assembly then contacts a body panel of the vehicle so as to provide support for the vehicle seat assembly.
VEHICLE SEAT BOTTOM STOPPER
A vehicle seat includes a seat cushion supported on a frame. The seat cushion is removable from the frame to allow access an area beneath the seat. A handle is formed on a projecting portion of the seat cushion to facilitate grasping the seat cushion and to allow the seat cushion to be removed from the frame. A seat stopper is provided for preventing the projecting portion from contacting directly against a console or other surrounding part of the vehicle.
Earth working machine having an insertable operating seat
An earth working machine (10), for example a road milling machine (10), recycler, stabilizer, or surface miner, having a propelling unit (22) and a machine frame (12) carried by the propelling unit (22), comprises a working apparatus (32) for earth working; an operator's platform (24), having an operating console (26) for controlling at least one functional device (32, 39) of the earth working machine (10), being provided on the machine frame (12). Provision is made according to the present invention that the earth working machine (10) comprises, in the region of the operator's platform (24), a seat mount arrangement (66) that is embodied to be brought into releasable mounting engagement with a counterpart mount arrangement (76) of an operating seat (62, 64).
ISOLATOR AND SUSPENSION ASSEMBLY FOR RIDING EQUIPMENT
A riding outdoor power equipment vehicle, such as for grounds maintenance, having a chassis including a support area, an operator platform for supporting a rider and supported by the chassis, and a suspension assembly. The suspension assembly is configured to resist movement of the operator platform towards the support area of the chassis and includes a biasing element having a plurality of annular portions. At least two annular portions of the plurality of annular portions are spaced apart from one another when the biasing element is in a default orientation and are moved into engagement with one another upon compression of the biasing element between the operator platform and the support area. Compression of the biasing element provides an initial deflection response that decreases substantially in response to increasing loading being applied to the operator platform.
Lightweight cushion suspension and seating surface
A cushion suspension for a vehicle seat may have a support structure with a substantially tub-shaped profile and at least two lateral portions. Each of the lateral portions may have a flexible suspension portion. A seating surface assembly for a vehicle seat is also disclosed.
WORK VEHICLE HAVING DRIVER'S SEAT
A work vehicle includes a driver's seat attached to a seat base, a support shaft attached to the seat base and extending in a vehicle body transverse direction, the support shaft pivotably connecting the seat base with the vehicle body frame, and an isolator mounted on the support shaft to absorb only vibration in a vehicle body front/rear direction.
Seat suspension system with horizontal movement and dampening
A seat suspension system that includes a seat base that enables movement of the seat horizontally; and a lateral attenuation system that when activated, dampens movement of the seat horizontally. The seat base can move along first and second horizontal axes that are orthogonal. The seat base can include a carrier casting moveable along the first horizontal axis relative to a reservoir casting, and a seat casting moveable along the second horizontal axis relative to the carrier casting. The castings can move on rails. The lateral attenuation system can include an actuation mechanism, a stopper, and a connector that couples the actuation mechanism and stopper to the seat base. When the actuation mechanism is activated, the stopper can connect the reservoir and seat castings. The lateral attenuation system can be configured to stop movement of the seat along the first and second horizontal axes at any desired position.
FLUID-CONTROLLED SPRING/DAMPER SYSTEM
A vehicle is provided with a vehicle frame or sub-frame structure and at least one of a body structure and engine structure or a plurality of suspension components mounted to the vehicle frame or sub-frame structure and a plurality of fluid-controlled spring/dampers supporting the least one of a body structure and engine structure or a plurality of suspension components to the vehicle frame of sub-frame structure, the plurality of fluid-controlled spring/dampers being connected to a single central pump.
Seat suspension with three-dimensional features for improved occupant comfort
A seat assembly for supporting an occupant of a vehicle includes a cushion and a suspension. The cushion has a first surface and a second surface. The first surface is configured to engage the occupant. The second surface is disposed opposite the first surface. The suspension includes a first portion and a second portion. The first portion includes a third surface. The third surface engages the second surface of the cushion. The second portion includes a fourth surface. The fourth surface defines a first depression. The first depression opens toward the cushion. The first depression is configured to receive a portion of the cushion when the occupant exerts a load on the cushion.
