Cushion pad
Provided is a cushion pad, in which a seating body portion of a seating portion has a bottomless or bottomed first hole arranged at a position at which the first hole overlaps a pair of ischial bones of a seated person in a horizontal projection plane and three or more bottomless or bottomed second holes with areas that are smaller than an area of the first hole in a horizontal projection plane, a center point O51 of the first hole is on or inside a triangle TR obtained by connecting center points of any three second holes from among the three or more second holes in the horizontal projection plane and in the seating portion, the inside of the first hole is a void space, or a soft material portion is arranged inside the first hole.
Seat mounting structure for a seat of a vehicle and vehicle and center seat structure
A seat mounting structure for at least one seat in a vehicle having a vehicle structure is provided. The seat mounting structure may have a seat rib cage configured as a universal solitary mounting bracket to which at least one seat can be affixed. The seat rib cage may have a plurality of rib cage elements connected with each other to form the seat rib cage. The seat rib cage may also have a plurality of seat mounting points for mounting the at least one seat to the seat rib cage. The seat rib cage may also have a plurality of vehicle structure mounting points for mounting the seat rib cage to the vehicle structure.
Extensively reconfigurable vehicle seat design
An extensively reconfigurable seat design can include a vehicle seat system including: a vehicle seat defining a vehicle occupant accommodating space, the vehicle seat including a seat cushion portion including multiple individually adjustable bladders, where each of the multiple individually adjustable bladders has a connected valve that controls fluid communication with an internal space of the individually adjustable bladder to adjust a pressure level within the internal space of the individually adjustable bladder, and an associated sensor configured to detect the pressure level within the internal space of the individually adjustable bladder. A computer can actively sense and control the pressure levels within the bladders, using the sensors and valves, to provide customization, adaptive, ride-active and intelligent control over a reconfigurable cushion for a vehicle.
Vehicle seating arrangements
A seating arrangement for a vehicle is shown to include a plurality of seats, including at least two front seats, at least two rear seats, and a rear jump seat positioned intermediate the two rear seats. The jump seat comprises a seat back which is positioned rearwardly of the rear seats, and the rear seats are movable laterally between a first position where the rear seats are proximate to each other and generally covering the seat back of the jump seat, and a second position where the rear seats are spaced apart from each other and the seat back of the jump seat is exposed. The arrangement may also include rear seats which are rotatable relative to the seat backs to provide a storage surface.
CHILD SEAT, A CHILD SEAT SYSTEM, AND A METHOD FOR OPERATING A CHILD SEAT SYSTEM
A child seat for a vehicle is configured for holding a child within an interior compartment of the vehicle. The child seat includes a climate arrangement adapted for effecting a climate for the child when positioned in the child seat. The climate arrangement includes a power connection interface connectable to a power source. The climate arrangement further includes a data connection interface connectable to a vehicle climate control module and adapted for receiving climate control information from the vehicle climate control module for effecting the climate for the child when positioned in the child seat.
Seat with air vent
It is an object to provide a seat of which a seating comfort can be improved. The seat includes a seat cushion pad having an air passage formed inside and an air vent formed at an upper surface thereof, and is configured to allow air in the air passage to blow out through the air vent, wherein the seat cushion pad includes a pad body and a cover member which is disposed over the pad body to form the air passage between the pad body and the cover member and in which the air vent is formed, and a front end portion of the cover member extends downward over a front end portion of the pad body.
Vehicular seat
There is provided a vehicular seat capable of using an air supply fan having a relatively small capacity so that a thickness of the air supply fan does not become one of factors in determining a thickness of a seat in realizing the reduction of the thickness of the seat. A vehicular seat includes: an air supply fan; an air supply chamber which forms a passage for air supplied from the air supply fan; and a urethane pad which sandwiches the air supply chamber and has a plurality of portions in each of which a hole through which air supplied from the air supply chamber passes is formed. The air supply chamber is formed so as to cover in a planar surface shape a region of the urethane pad including the plurality of portions in each of which the hole is formed.
Occupant support component for a seat of a vehicle and vehicle seat
The present disclosure relates to an occupant support element that may have at least one structural support element. Further, the present disclosure relates to a vehicle seat that may have such an occupant support element.
VEHICLE SEAT
Provided is vehicle seat with a seat cushion and a seat back, the vehicle seat comprising: a pair of cushion side frames; a duct extending from the seat cushion along a rear side of a cushion frame toward the seat back and connecting an air passage and a blower, the air passage being formed in at least one of the seat cushion and the seat back; and a side frame cover configured to cover at least part of the cushion side frame. The side frame cover includes a duct cover portion configured to cover part of the duct at the rear side of the cushion frame.
Heater device
A heater device for warming a user has a heater panel including a planar heating element which generates heat by energization, a first heat radiation surface formed on one surface side of the heating element, and a second heat radiation surface formed on the other surface side of the heating element. The temperature of the first heat radiation surface is higher than the temperature of the second heat radiation surface. In the heater panel, the first heat radiation surface is configured as a non-contact heater that warms the user in a non-contact manner, and the second heat radiation surface is configured as a contact heater that warms the user in a contact manner.
