Conductive tape recess

A vehicle seating assembly comprises a cushion and a seating surface. A recess includes at least two branches defined in the cushion. The two branches come together at a junction and extend in a direction parallel with the seating surface. An elongate carrier is disposed between the recess and the seating surface, the elongate carrier includes a plurality of thermoelectric devices arranged along the recess. A flexible bellows extends through the cushion and has a first end in fluid communication with the junction and a second end in fluid communication with an air mover.

TEMPERATURE CONTROL SYSTEM FOR SEATING ASSEMBLY

A vehicle seating assembly includes a cushion and a trim layer. A permeable heater is disposed between the cushion and the trim layer. An air mover is in fluid communication with the permeable heater. The permeable heater and the air mover are operable to respectively heat or cool a seating surface.

A vehicular air conditioner includes a first outlet that blows a conditioned air frontward to flow past a neck part of an occupant on a seat, and a second outlet that is provided below the first outlet and blows the conditioned air upward to flow past an armpit part of the occupant. The second outlet blows the conditioned air to merge with the conditioned air blown from the first outlet. The second outlet blows the conditioned air with an airflow volume larger than an airflow volume of the conditioned air from the first outlet such that the conditioned air blown from the second outlet guides the conditioned air blown from the first outlet to flow along a face of the occupant.

Occupant armrest

An occupant armrest is configured for use in a vehicle. The occupant armrest includes a substrate, a cover, and a thermoelectric module. The substrate is configured to support an arm of an occupant of the vehicle. The cover is arranged around the substrate. The thermoelectric module is configured to provide at least one of heating and cooling the arm of the occupant.

Thermal conditioning systems and methods for vehicle regions

Features for a vapor compression system configured to cool and/or heat (i.e. thermally condition) two or more distinct climate controlled vehicle interior components via a common thermal bus are disclosed. Some embodiments employ a single compressor. Some embodiments employ multiple compressors and/or thermal buses, each servicing components located within respective interior thermal zones of a vehicle, for example a front row seat zone, second and/or third row seat zones, and/or an overhead zone and/or a trunk zone.

SEAT AIR-CONDITIONING DEVICE

In a seat air-conditioning device, a refrigeration cycle, a warm air blower, and a cold air blower are housed in a housing disposed between a seat face of a seat and a vehicle interior floor. A condenser is disposed on an upstream side in an air blowing direction and the warm air blower is disposed on a downstream side in an air blowing direction in a warm air flow path extending in a predetermined direction. An evaporator is disposed on a downstream side of the cold air blower in an air blowing direction in the cold air flow path extending in a predetermined direction.
