The shaft may include a shaft axis, an operational end, and a body. The shaft may include a recess configured to engage said first connecting portion of said at least one connecting member. The operational end may include an aperture configured to engage said second connecting portion of said at least one connecting member.
Lengthwise fastener
A flexible lengthwise fastener is provided with a first retainer provided with a lengthwise substrate. The lengthwise fastener is also provided with a second retainer provided with a lengthwise substrate to engage with the lengthwise substrate of the first retainer. When the first retainer and the second retainer are combined, the first retainer and the second retainer provide the appearance of a traditional seam.
Trim cover assembly with bezel support
A seat assembly includes a seat cushion having an external surface and defining a recess therein, the recess being open to the external surface and being sized to receive one or more bezel components and a trim cover assembly disposed over the seat cushion. The trim cover assembly includes a trim cover having an A-side as an occupant surface and a B-side, opposite the A-side, facing the external surface of the seat cushion, with the trim cover defining a cover opening therethrough generally corresponding to the recess in the seat cushion. The trim cover also has a plurality of flaps spaced about the cover opening, with each flap having an inner portion towards the cover opening and an outer portion opposite the inner portion. The trim cover assembly also includes a bezel support member having an A-surface contacting the B-side of the trim cover, and a B-surface opposite the A-surface. The bezel support member has an inner periphery defining a support opening corresponding to the cover opening, and an outer periphery, where the flaps of the trim cover are folded through the support opening and secured to at least a portion of the bezel support member or to the trim cover to support the cover opening. The seat assembly also includes a bezel disposed in the recess and having a peripheral edge supported on the A-surface on the bezel support member.
VEHICLE SEAT
Provided is a vehicle seat that allows engagement holes for engaging an end part of the skin member to be provided without burdening the seat frame design. The seat cushion of the vehicle seat includes a frame structure, a support membersupported by the frame structure within the frame structure to resiliently support an occupant, a pad provided on a proximal side of the frame structure and the support member, and a skin member covering the pad. The support member is provided with plurality of engagement portions engaging end parts of the skin member.
Vehicle seating system and method for producing same
A vehicle seating system and a method for producing a vehicle seating system may include a cushion made at least in part from a stranded-mesh material and configured to support a seated occupant. Also included may be a support structure configured to support the cushion and a trim-cover material configured to be disposed over at least a portion of the stranded-mesh material. The stranded-mesh material may include an integrated attachment arrangement configured to receive a fastening arrangement for securing the trim-cover material to the stranded-mesh material.
SEAT ASSEMBLY AND TRIM MEMBER
A trim member may include an elongated first portion and a plurality of second portions connected to the first portion. The plurality of second portions may include a body portion, a cover portion, an aperture, and an opening. The body portion may be connected to the first portion. The cover portion may be connected to and protrude outward from an end of the body portion. The aperture may extend at least partially through the body portion and the cover portion in a first direction. The aperture may be configured to receive at least a portion of a headrest in a direction that is oblique or perpendicular to the first direction via said portion of said headrest passing through the opening.
RETENTION CLIP FOR A SEAT ASSEMBLY AND METHOD OF ASSEMBLY
A retention clip, a seat assembly having a retention clip, and a method of assembly. The retention clip has a spiral anchor and at least one retention feature. The spiral anchor is configured to be screwed into a cushion. The retention feature extends away from the spiral anchor and is configured to secure a seat component to the retention clip.
Seat assembly
A seat assembly has a seating cushion defining a first surface to support an occupant and a second surface opposite to the first surface, with the first surface further defining a trench. A fastener has a longitudinal body with a central region positioned between a first end region and a second end region, and a base extending outwardly from the second end region and transversely to the body. The first end region tapers in a direction away from the second end region, and the central region of the body defines a recess intersecting a side wall of the body and angled inwardly and towards the first end region to form a hook. The fastener extends through the seating cushion with the base abutting the second surface, and the first end region of the body extending into the trench.
Seat back trim retainer
A vehicle seat trim retainer that can be installed on a vehicle seat. The seat trim retainer includes a base retainer with a base retainer foundation and an inner flange. The base retainer foundation includes a stabilizing feature at one end and a base tip at an opposing end. The inner flange includes a C-shaped channel and a channel extender, with the channel extender including a channel flange.
SEAT CUSHION ELEMENT AND VEHICLE SEAT
A seat cushion element may have at least one cushion element, a cover fastening mechanism and a cover element.
