Vehicle seat
In a vehicle seat, a movable frame provided at a front end portion of a stationary frame is configured to be slidable frontward and rearward between a first position and a second position frontward of the first position. An outer covering provided to extend frontward from an upper side of the stationary frame is configured to wrap around a front end portion of the movable frame. First and second straps are provided to extend rearward from a front end of the outer covering and configured to pull the front end of the outer covering rearward. The front end of the outer covering from which the first and second straps extend is arranged under the stationary frame. The first strap and the second strap are in positions spaced out laterally from each other. The first strap and the second strap are being pulled laterally inward.
Fastener and fastened seat assembly
A fastener is provided with a shank that is sized to engage apertures formed in at least two components. A retainer extends laterally from the shank for engagement within another aperture formed in one of the at least two components to retain the shank from lengthwise translation relative to the apertures in the at least two components. The shank has a plurality of varying concentric diameters for engagement within a plurality of apertures formed in the at least two components. A receptacle is formed in a structural component, sized to receive the fastener. A retainer extends laterally from the shank for engagement within another aperture formed in one of the at least two components to retain the shank from lengthwise translation relative to the apertures in the at least two components.
VEHICLE SEAT
A mechanism for suspending a skin material on a seat rear surface with a simple and light structure is described. A vehicle seat including a seat back forming a backrest surface includes a seat back pad which is a cushion material of the seat back, a skin material which covers the seat back pad, a wire of which a part is embedded inside the seat back pad and another part is exposed to a seat rear surface, and a hook which is attached to an end portion of the skin material on the side of the seat rear surface. The wire engages with the hook so that the skin material is suspended and fixed to the seat rear surface of the seat back.
Vehicle seat
A vehicle seat comprising a stationary frame, a movable frame and a cushion pad is disclosed. The movable frame is provided at a front end portion of the stationary frame and configured to be slidable frontward and rearward between a first position and a second position that is frontward of the first position. The cushion pad is provided to extend frontward from an upper side of the stationary frame and configured to wrap around a front end portion of the movable frame. The movable frame has an upper surface including a curved surface bulging upwardly.
Textile clip
Presented is a releasable clip assembly operable to secure a cushion to a supporting surface, the assembly having a male component which is received in a first axis in a chassis of a female component. The clip assembly also has one or more engagement elements configurable into an open configuration to admit the male component and operable to return to a closed configuration to engage the received male component to secure it in the chassis, and one or more release elements operable when actuated transversely to the first axis to allow the engagement elements to be configured in the open configuration to release the male component.
Securing seat trim covers to foam cushions
A seat trim cover includes a flexible web and a plurality of molded clips spaced-apart at predetermined intervals along a distal edge of the web. Each of the clips includes a base attached to the web and one or more latch elements extending from the base to a point beyond the distal edge of the web. The latch elements of each clip are configured to clasp a cushion retainer when forced into engagement with the retainer.
SEAT ASSEMBLY
A seat assembly has a seating cushion defining a first surface to support an occupant and a second surface opposite to the first surface, with the first surface further defining a trench. A fastener has a longitudinal body with a central region positioned between a first end region and a second end region, and a base extending outwardly from the second end region and transversely to the body. The first end region tapers in a direction away from the second end region, and the central region of the body defines a recess intersecting a side wall of the body and angled inwardly and towards the first end region to form a hook. The fastener extends through the seating cushion with the base abutting the second surface, and the first end region of the body extending into the trench.
CONVEYANCE SEAT
The number of components required to restrict the movement of an operating section, when a cushion frame is moved in the height direction, and a link member, which is for moving the cushion frame, is reduced. The seat is provided with: a drive link that is rotatably attached to the cushion frame and that moves the cushion frame in the height direction according to rotation thereof; a gear part that engages with the drive link and that rotates the drive link; a link-rotation restricting member for restricting the rotation range of the drive link; an operating section that accepts an operation for adjusting the height of the cushion frame; and a rotation application section for rotating the drive link via the gear part according to the operating section. The movement of the operating section is restricted as a result of the link-rotation restricting member abutting against the rotation application section.
SEATING ASSEMBLY COVER
A vehicle seating assembly includes a cushion with a seating surface. An elongated trench extends into the seating surface. A primary fastener part is disposed in the elongated trench, and a secondary fastener part is disposed around a cushion perimeter. A cover includes first and second fastener parts, wherein the primary fastener part and the first fastener part are selectively attachable to form a first disengageable seal. The secondary fastener part and the second fastener part are selectively attachable to form a second disengageable seal.
Vehicle seating system
A vehicle seating system having a seat back includes a back panel with a first side having a first surface and a second side having a second surface. A plurality of stanchions are disposed on the first surface and extend outwardly therefrom. The stanchions form airflow channels between them. A trim cover is disposed over at least a portion of the second side and extends to the first side. The trim cover is disposed over the stanchions such that it covers a portion of the airflow channels and the stanchions maintain at least a portion of the trim cover away from the first surface.
