SEAT
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a seat that makes it possible to easily connect the end of a surface cover when assembling the surface cover and to achieve a secure connection. To this end, a seat (1) is provided with inclined piles (70, 80) on the end of the surface cover (4) and at a location that faces the end of the surface cover (4) on a cushion member (2) that forms a seat section, the inclined pile (80) of the cushion member (2) is inclined in a direction that is the opposite of the direction in which a load resulting from a seated person occurs, and the inclined pile (70) of the end of the surface cover (4) is inclined in the direction in which the load resulting from a seated person occurs.
SEAT
The present invention provides a seat which is unlikely to cause wrinkles or slack in a surface cover thereof, makes surface cover attachment and detachment simple, and is also capable of withstanding long-term use. To this end, a second fastening part 50 for attachably/detachably connecting a cushion material 2 and a surface cover 4 to one another is formed as a zipper in a seat 1.
Upper seat back assembly
A seat back frame assembly may include first and second brackets coupled with and extending outwardly from the seat back frame assembly. The first and second brackets may define first and second recesses, respectively. A cushion assembly may include first and second sides. The first and second sides may be disposed within the first and second recesses, respectively. An upper hood comprising first and second ends may be coupled with first and second brackets, respectively.
Aircraft seatback cover attachment system
A seatback cover attachment system is disclosed. The attachment system may include a substrate configured to reversibly couple to a portion of a seatback frame. The substrate may include one or more surfaces that define a channel. The channel may be configured to receive a portion of the seatback frame. The attachment system may include a seatback cover sub-system. The seatback cover sub-system may include a dress cover. The seatback cover sub-system may include a side panel configured to couple to a portion of the substrate. The side panel may be configured to couple to one or more portions of the dress cover to form the seatback cover sub-system.
Seat with pad
The present disclosure relates to a seat that may have a support structure and a pad having a support wire attachable to the support structure. A retainer may be provided which is fixed at one end through an opening in the support structure and at the opposite end onto the support wire. The retainer may have a mounting member to fix through the opening and a hook to catch the support wire, the mounting member having a use position and a mounting position that is inclined relative to the use position. The mounting member and the hook may be joined by a spacer bar.
Vehicle seat
A vehicle seat is provided with a frame, a cushion pad which is disposed on the frame, a trim cover which covers the cushion pad, and a fastener provided to the surface of the cushion pad, which is installed on the frame. The fastener has a frame affixation section which is affixed to the frame, and a cover engagement section with which an end of the trim cover is engaged, and the fastener is joined to the cushion pad.
Seal for a trim member of a vehicle seat back
A seal for sealing a gap between a seat back of a seat in a vehicle, the seat back including a fabric construction, and a shelf located adjacent the seat back includes a trim member laterally spanning from a first distal end of an engagement edge of the shelf that engages with the seat back of the seat to a second distal end of the engagement edge of the shelf. The trim member includes a seal member laterally spanning and attached to the trim member that engages with the seat back. The seal member is constructed of an unwoven fabric material.
SEAT
Provided is a seat enabling reduction of a burden in skin assembling work and improvement of appearance quality of the seat. A seat includes linear members extending along a longitudinal direction of hanging portions of a skin and provided at the hanging portion, and elastically deformable tubular members provided inside grooves of a pad so as to extend along the groove. A slit is formed on an outer peripheral surface of the tubular member, the slit extending in a longitudinal direction of the tubular member, having a width narrower than an outer diameter of the linear member, and enabling the width to be expanded by elastic deformation of the tubular member.
Computer aided design (CAD)-based foam part generation for seat designs
A system may include an access engine and a foam part generation engine. The access engine may be configured to access a computer-aided design (CAD) seat surface that represents a seat surface of a seat design and access seat parameters for the seat design. The foam part generation engine may be configured to construct a CAD foam part for the seat design based on the CAD seat surface and the seat parameters.
SEAT
Provided is a seat having an improved appearance by hiding a section where a trim cover is attached to a backboard from an outside. A seat includes: a seat pad; a backboard disposed on a back surface of the seat pad; a trim cover covering a front surface of the seat pad; a terminal member attached to the trim cover along an end thereof, and a connection member attached to an end of the backboard for connecting the terminal member thereto. The terminal member is connected to the connection member in a state where the terminal member and the connection member are covered with the trim cover from an outside, so that the end of the trim cover is fastened to the end of the backboard.
