Deep Draw Trim Attachment
A deep draw trim member for use in a vehicle seat is disclosed. The deep draw trim member comprises a strip of hook material secured to a foam of the vehicle seat, The deep draw trim member also comprises a strip of loop material secured to a seat trim member, wherein the strip of loop material having a plurality of slits arranged throughout. The strip of loop material is engaged with the strip of hook material to create a seating surface that is aesthetically pleasing for the vehicle seat. A flexible ferromagnetic strip is bonded to the flexible substrate and at least partially bounds a bounded portion of the flexible substrate containing at least some of the touch fastener elements and at least a part of the exposed region. The product is preferably wide, such as to cover a wide concave region of a foam seat cushion.

A vehicle seat includes a seat frame including a frame component and a seat pad supported by the seat frame, with the seat pad defining an opening therethrough such that the seat frame is accessible via the opening. The vehicle seat also includes a trim cover assembly disposed over the seat pad. The trim cover assembly includes a trim cover having a flap portion sized to extend through the opening in the seat pad with a first fastener, and a securing flap having a retainer secured thereon. The securing flap includes a second fastener cooperable with the first fastener. The retainer is connected to the frame component to attach the securing flap to the seat frame, and the flap portion is positioned through the opening and connected to the securing flap via the first and second fasteners to define a faux hole.

A mold component for forming a foamed part with a three-dimensional shape includes a magnetic block having a first face that defines a curved three-dimensional surface with a hook strip-receiving recess positioned above the magnetic block. The magnetic block is configured to be placed in a mold with a hook strip placed in the hook strip-receiving recess. The hook strip has a ferrous metal-containing component such that the magnetic block attracts and holds the hook strip with the hook strip conforming to the curved three-dimensional surface. Characteristically, the mold component is configured to be applied in a molding process to mold the three-dimensional shape in the foamed part wherein the hook strip attaches to a trim cover.

A fastening tape having flexibility in a longitudinal direction of the fastening tape. The fastening tape includes a plurality of fasteners, a support, and magnetic material positioned on the support. The support defines a plurality of plateaus and a plurality of valleys. The magnetic material is positioned on at least a portion of one of the plurality of plateaus or the plurality of valleys of the support such that a height of the magnetic material varies in the longitudinal direction. Because the height of the magnetic material varies, the fastening tape is more flexible in the longitudinal direction. In some cases, the fastening tape is also flexible in the lateral direction.

Trim assembly for a vehicle seat and method of forming
A trim cover assembly for a vehicle seat assembly, a vehicle seat assembly, and a method of assembling the trim cover are provided. The trim cover assembly has a first trim member with a first surface to form a seating surface and a second surface opposite to the first surface. A second trim member is provided for connection to a seat member, and has first and second side regions each extending between first and second end regions. The first and second end regions are connected adjacent to first and second edges of the first trim member, respectively. A central region of the second trim member is connected to the second surface of the first trim member via a first seam.
VEHICLE DOOR GUARD
Vehicle door guards can be used in conjunction with a vehicle seat cover to provide protection to doors. A vehicle door guard may include a cover portion that is configured to be secured to a lower portion of a vehicle seat cover when the vehicle seat cover is installed on a vehicle seat. The vehicle door guard may also include one or more fasteners for supporting the cover portion from a portion of the vehicle.
