Provided is a seat reducible risk of releasing a connection between a bezel and a cover. The seat allows attaching of a child safety seat, and includes a bezel and a cover covering the bezel. The bezel and the cover respectively include a pair of bezel-side overlap portions and a cover-side overlap portion that overlap with each other in an intersecting direction intersecting an attaching-and-detaching-direction of a bezel body and a cover body. One of the bezel-side overlap portions and the cover-side overlap portion are formed with a through-hole, and the other of the bezel-side overlap portions is formed with a female-threaded-hole. Then, in a state where the pair of bezel-side overlap portions and the cover-side overlap portion overlap each other in the intersecting direction, a fastening member is inserted into the through-hole and a male-threaded portion is screwed into the female-threaded-hole to connect between the bezel and the cover.
Lightweight upholstery cover with edge attachment
An upholstery cover article comprises a pad; a facing laminated to one side of the pad; a backing scrim laminated to the other side of the pad opposite the fabric cover; and an edge attachment article secured to a perimeter of at least one of the pad, the facing, or the backing scrim. The edge attachment article consists essentially of a ribbon of spring material, which is formed to provide a securement portion that is secured along the perimeter of the flexible panel, and to provide an catch portion that is not secured to the flexible panel and protrudes contiguous from the securement portion partway across the flexible panel.
Vehicle seat cushion carrier assembly for modular vehicle seat or the like
A vehicle seat cushion carrier assembly (bottom and back) via which a cushion carrier structure, cushion foam, and upholstery are more easily assembled and installed in a vehicle, optionally as a modular unit. The cushion carrier structure can be multi-piece and incorporate any desired trim units. Strap fasteners are used to secure the upholstery to the cushion carrier structure and cushion foam, creating the desired creating seams, creases, and indentations. Clip fasteners are used to secure the upholstery to the cushion carrier structure around the cushion foam, especially with respect to the seat back. This allows much of the upholstering to be done outside the vehicle, optionally in a modular manner. Finally, these modular features and functionalities allow the cushion carrier assemblies (bottom and back) to be quickly and easily secured to the underlying seat pan and/or seat frame using simple screws, hooks, and clip fasteners.
Clip and Method of Producing the Same
Clip includes a clip body provided with an accommodating space extending in a front-rear direction, and left and right wings coupled to the clip body in a left-right direction orthogonal to the front-rear direction. Each of the left and right wings includes front edge and rear edge which extend away from the clip body along the left-right direction. In one or both of the left and right wings, the front edge slants linearly or non-linearly forward of the clip as the front edge extends away from the clip body.

To improve comfort, a motor vehicle seat has at least one cushion body, at least one cover concealing the cushion body at least in part, and at least one tensioner, which is operatively connected to the cover by a first end and is designed to adjust the cover tension. The tensioner is fixed by a second end to a clamping device. The clamping device is designed to modify and fix the distance of the tensioner from the first end thereof to the second end thereof and the clamping device is designed to be operated after completion of the motor vehicle seat.

Seat-cover fitting structure
Provided is a seat-cover fitting structure capable of preventing a seat cover from accidentally separating from a seat main body. In a seat-cover fitting structure 1, a resin clip 41 that is fitted to an end member 10 attached to the lower end of a hanging cotton-cloth member of a seat cover and a metal clip 50 that is fitted to the exterior of the resin clip 41 engage each other with gaps X.sub.1, X.sub.2, and X.sub.3 formed therebetween. In a state where the metal clip 50 is stuck to, by magnetic force, a main-body-side member that is embedded in the seat main body, the resin clip 41 moves with respect to the metal clip 50 within the ranges of the gaps X.sub.1, X.sub.2, and X.sub.3.
Seat for vehicles having an engagement edge
A seat for vehicles, in particular motor vehicles, with separate backrest and seat base, includes a seat base and a backrest. The seat base is separate from the backrest, and the seat base is constrained to the backrest so that the backrest base can rotate relative to the seat base. The seat base and backrest are each manufactured as one piece of metallic material in a single cold-molding process. At least one of the seat base and backrest includes an engagement edge configured for engaging, via mechanical interference, with a cover for the seat in order to retain the cover.

Seat for a vehicle
A seat for a vehicle includes a seatback support structure including a main portion having a first side and a second side disposed opposite the first side, and a flange that projects from the main portion in a direction away from the first side, and that defines a hole extending through the flange for receiving a headrest post. The seat further includes a trim cover disposed over at least a portion of the seatback support structure and a trim fastener attached to the trim cover for securing the trim cover to the flange of the seatback support structure. The trim fastener has two opposing side portions and a cavity therebetween for receiving the flange.
