A surface skin-fastening structure for a vehicle seat for fastening a surface skin to a framework of a vehicle seat, includes a base member which is integral with the framework, a surface skin-pressing member fitted into the base member, an interlocking member provided to an end of the surface skin, and slits provided to the base member. The base member has an extension section, which is an end edge that makes contact with a reverse surface of the surface skin. The slits extend in linear fashion along the end edge of the base member. With the surface skin covering the end edge of the base member, the interlocking member and the end of the surface skin are inserted into one opening of the slits and pass through the slits to appear from the other opening, and are stopped in a state of surface contact at the base member.

A seat cover made of leather for a vehicle seat is disclosed. The seat cover has two or more blank parts as first blank parts, wherein the first blank parts are joined to each other on at least one joining edge. At least one first blank part has a width that is at least equal to the width of a following blank part of a follower and the first blank part has a length that is at least equal to the length of the following blank part of the follower.

An airbag module-equipped seat in which the periphery of an attachment portion of a guide member that guides a deployment direction of an airbag has a compact size and the guide member can be attached easily while maintaining satisfactory deployment performance of the airbag. This seat includes an airbag module attached to a side frame, a guide member that guides a deployment direction of the airbag module, and an attachment member for attaching the guide member to the side frame. The side frame has an attachment hole for the attachment member at a position different from a shaft portion for attaching the airbag module. The attachment member has a holding space in which an end of the guide member is held in a detachable manner, and is inserted into the attachment hole in a state in which the end of the guide member is held in the holding space.

An attachment structure is configured to be installed in a vehicle interior. The attachment structure includes an outer skin and an ornament embedded in the outer skin. The attachment structure further includes a plate which provided on an underside of the outer skin. The outer skin is disposed between the ornament and the plate. The attachment structure also includes a base positioned at an underside side of the plate and configured to be coupled to the plate, and a cushion. The cushion may be positioned between the outer skin and the plate, or between the plate and the base.

A seat for a vehicle includes a seatback support structure including a main portion having a first side and a second side disposed opposite the first side, and a flange that projects from the main portion in a direction away from the first side, and that defines a thru-hole extending through the flange for receiving a headrest post. The seat further includes a trim cover disposed over at least a portion of the seatback support structure and a trim fastener attached to the trim cover for securing the trim cover to the flange of the seatback support structure. The trim fastener has two opposing side portions and a cavity therebetween for receiving the flange.

A headrest comprising a mounting frame on a backrest of a seat, a mounting structure for a loudspeaker, the structure being associated in the upper portion of the frame, the loudspeaker associated with the structure, a block of elastically compressible padding material covering the structure, the block being provided with a conduit configured to allow the sound emitted by the loudspeaker to propagate, a covering cover fitted over the block, the cover being provided with an orifice positioned facing the conduit, a grating for covering the orifice, the grating comprising a peripheral overhang covering a peripheral strip of the cover extending at the periphery of the orifice, a thickness of the padding material extending in alignment with the strip, the headrest further comprising a washer configured to stiffen the strip, the washer having an internal periphery of geometry analogous to that of the orifice, the overhang extending facing the washer.

Provided is an inexpensive fixing structure for a surface skin, an operation by which is simple. A fixing structure for a surface skin, the fixing structure being used for fixing to a core 17 a surface skin 14 having an opening 22, wherein the surface skin 14 in at least the portion in which the opening 22 is formed is formed of a soft material, the opening 22 is formed by an edge part 14c of the surface skin 14, a groove 20 is formed in the core 17, and the surface skin 14 is fixed to the core 17 by the edge part 14c of the surface skin 14 being inserted into the groove 20. Since the surface skin 14 is fixed to the core 17 merely by inserting the edge part 14c of the surface skin 14 into the groove 20 in the core 17, a simple operation is realized. Since there is no need to provide the edge part 14c of the surface skin 14 with an attachment device, the fixing structure for the surface skin 14 is inexpensive.

A vehicle seat including: a decorative body provided alongside a seat cushion in a seat width direction; a side frame serving as a side framework of one side portion of the seat cushion which is closer to the decorative body than another side portion of the seat cushion; and a side cover covering a peripheral side surface of the seat cushion facing the decorative body, wherein the side frame is disposed at an offset position which is away from the one side portion of the seat cushion to a side where the decorative body is provided in the seat width direction, and wherein the side cover is branched into a drawn-in portion which is drawn downward beyond a gap between the seat cushion and the decorative body, and a cover portion which is connected to the drawn-in portion and covers the side frame from an upper side.

A fastening device for fastening at least a part of a seat cover of a seat. The fastening device comprises a first holding unit arranged on a surface, which faces a seat user, of the seat cover, and a second holding unit which can be arranged on a counter-surface which is opposite the surface. The first holding unit has at least one fastening element and the second holding unit has at least one corresponding fastening element for mechanical connection of the holding units, and the second holding unit has a fastening unit for production of a mechanical connection to the seat.

The rest arrangement has a rest body with a cover and a receptacle for a housing shell which is configured for holding at least one drinking vessel, the housing shell having an encircling collar. The collar in the mounted state covers the cover in the region of an edge of the receptacle, and the collar is connected to the cover in a form-fitting, integrally bonded or force-fitting manner.
