The vehicular seat 1A has a surface skin 13 and a backboard 12 to which the surface skin 13 is attached, wherein the surface skin 13 has a first surface skin 13a and a second surface skin 13b connected to the first surface skin 13a, protruding members 16 and holes 17 are provided as a connecting structure for connecting the backboard 12 and the second surface skin 13b, and the second surface skin 13b is formed from a soft material such as an elastomer.

Trim cover assembly with elastically deformable fasteners

A trim cover assembly securable over a cushion is provided. The trim cover assembly includes a leather trim material. A trim fastener is attached to the leather trim material for retaining the trim cover to the cushion. Therein the trim fastener elastically deformable so that the fastener that elongates between an extended position and a retracted position to allow the leather trim material to expand while minimizing deformation.

A vehicle seat assembly includes a panel defined as a portion of a vehicle seat, the panel defines a first aperture therethrough to access an anchor and a second aperture therethrough, and has an engagement region thereon adjacent to the second aperture, a trim cover assembly including a trim cover, a strap connecting the trim cover to the vehicle seat, a seat frame and/or a vehicle framework via the second aperture, and a holder member. The holder member is sized to retract into and emerge from the second aperture, and has an edge configured to engage the engagement region. The trim cover assembly has a first position covering the first aperture to visibly hide the anchor, and a second position with the trim cover assembly spaced apart from the aperture to provide access to the anchor, where the edge of the holder member is engaged with the engagement region.

A vehicle seat includes: a seat cushion including another member disposed on a back side of a seat pad, and a catching portion provided in the another member; a seatback; a strip attached to the seatback; and a band member provided in the strip. The band member is hooked on the catching portion on a back side of the seat cushion. The catching portion includes a holding part and a guide part. The holding part has an opening that is opened toward a side facing the seat pad. The guide part is a flat part inclined from the opening. The band member is inserted into the opening and placed inside the holding part.

In a vehicle seat, a base frame is provided at a back side of a cushion pad to support the cushion pad, and an outer covering is configured to cover a front side of the cushion pad and fixed to the base frame. The outer covering includes a first portion. A receptacle hole is provided at the front side of a cushion pad. An actuator is configured to move the first portion to a first position in which part of the first portion is located inside the receptacle hole, and to a second position farther away from the base frame than the first position. An elastic member is provided in the receptacle hole, connected to the part of the first portion, and configured to bias the first portion toward the base frame.

In a vehicle seat, a base frame is provided at a back side of a cushion pad to support the cushion pad, and an outer covering is configured to cover a front side of the cushion pad and fixed to the base frame. The outer covering includes a first portion. A receptacle hole is provided at the front side of a cushion pad. An actuator is configured to move the first portion to a first position in which part of the first portion is located inside the receptacle hole, and to a second position farther away from the base frame than the first position. An elastic member is provided in the receptacle hole, connected to the part of the first portion, and configured to bias the first portion toward the base frame.

A vehicle seat having a seat cover including an outer cover, a padding layer, and a backing element that are joined together with stitches or a lamination joint. A seat cover retention apparatus is operatively connected to the backing element wherein a plurality of straps secure the backing element to the vehicle seat structure. Lateral side straps are secured to the backing element and extend through openings defined by the foam bun and are secured to the frame and/or the foam bun. A center strap is secured to the backing element and extends through a center opening to be secured to a back side of the foam bun and/or frame. The backing element may be an elastic strap or a layer of non-woven fleece material with slits for the straps. The straps may be elastic material or non-woven material.

A side support cover for application to a vehicle seat having a backrest part is disclosed. The side support cover includes left and right cover bodies for covering respective left and right side supports, and left and right lace members with one ends attached to the respective cover bodies. The left and right lace members are connected to the left and right cover bodies at a point positioned in the vicinity of boundaries between the lace members and the side supports. The backrest part has through-holes extending through the backrest part in a front-back direction. The lace members are passed through the respective through-holes in a state of being tensioned.

The first and second slide members are slideably received in the first and second guide channels of the carriage assembly to slideably couple the carriage assembly to the carrier assembly for lateral movement of the carriage assembly between extended and stowed positions relative to a rear portion of the seat portion.
