VEHICLE SEAT AND VEHICLE SEAT MOLDING METHOD USED FOR SAME
In order to solve the issue, during recessed-shape molding for vehicle seats, of requiring a suspension step, more work, members for suspension, and increased cost in a method using suspension, a recessed-shape molding method is provided for vehicle seats having a seat frame, a seat pad covering the seat frame, and a trim cover covering the seat pad. The seat pad has a seat pad groove. An adhesive sheet is sewn on to the rear surface of the trim cover by using outer stitching, the trim cover is put on to the seat pad, then a die is pressed on to the outer stitching from the trim cover surface, the trim cover is adhered to the seat pad groove, and a recessed shape is formed. As a result, a vehicle seat having simplified molding steps and effectively reducing costs can be provided, as well as a vehicle seat molding method used for same.
Vehicle seating system and method
A vehicle seating system may include a seat part having a trim material positioned over a base material. A method for producing the seating system may include configuring an attachment arrangement to have an adhesive material and a non-adhesive material bonded to the adhesive material. The method may also include molding the base material onto the non-adhesive material such that a surface of the adhesive material faces outward away from the base material. The trim material may be disposed over the base material such that a back side of the trim material is adhered to the adhesive material.
COMPOSITE SKIN MATERIAL FOR VEHICLE
A composite skin material for a vehicle includes a fibrous substrate, a polyurethane resin layer provided on the front side of the fibrous substrate, and a woven fabric adhered to the back side of the fibrous substrate through an adhesive layer comprising a polyurethane resin. Openings penetrating the fibrous substrate from the front of the polyurethane resin layer are provided in the composite skin material, and an opening ratio on the front of the polyurethane resin layer is 1 to 15%. The woven fabric has a warp density of 25 to 50 yarns/25.4 mm and a weft density of 30 to 50 yarns/25.4 mm, and the mass per unit area of the adhesive layer is 15 to 100 g/m.sup.2. The composite skin material has air permeability of 5 to 100 cm.sup.3/cm.sup.2.Math.s, tear strength of 20 to 150N, and tensile strength of 50 N/cm or more.
VEHICLE SEAT
The vehicle seat is structured by covering the pad surface with the surface layer provided with the beading, which prevents the beading formed on the vehicle seat from being rubbed and worn out by clothing of the occupant who is getting on or off the vehicle under pressure applied by the thigh or the back of the occupant, and further prevents dislocation of the beading on the seat under pulling force applied by the thigh of the occupant who is getting on or off the vehicle. The pad has a groove in which the beading is embedded. The beading is embedded in the groove famed in the pad, and the surface layer for enclosing the beading core of the beading is bonded and fixed to the bottom surface of the groove.
Deep Draw Trim Attachment
A deep draw trim member for use in a vehicle seat is disclosed. The deep draw trim member comprises a strip of hook material secured to a foam of the vehicle seat, The deep draw trim member also comprises a strip of loop material secured to a seat trim member, wherein the strip of loop material having a plurality of slits arranged throughout. The strip of loop material is engaged with the strip of hook material to create a seating surface that is aesthetically pleasing for the vehicle seat. The seat trim member is applied to the vehicle seat via a pressing of the vehicle seat trim. member to the vehicle seat foam such that the hook and loop materials attached thereto and interengage with one another to create a secure connection therebetween along with an improved and aesthetically pleasing outer surface for the vehicle seat assemblies.
Back panel for a vehicle seat
A back panel for a vehicle seat is described. The back panel may have an upper layer, a lower layer supporting the upper layer, an adhesive layer arranged between the upper layer and the lower layer and fixing the upper layer to the lower layer, and at least one additional panel member welded to the lower layer.
Head-rest of a car seat
There is provided a head-rest of a car sheet which is configured to includes: a skin configured to cover a surface of the head-rest; a foamed material filled in the head-rest covered by the skin; and a stay extending to an outside from the skin in which the foamed material is filled, wherein the head-rest has a gate shape by indenting a center portion of a lower surface of the head-rest, and a groove portion is formed at the indented center portion of the gate shape by making end portions of the skin abut against each other, and members which are softer than the skin are seamed to the respective end portions of the skin which abut against each other in the groove portion.
Seat back heater mat attachment
An occupant-support base includes a seat assembly and a heater mat coupled to the seat assembly. The seat assembly includes a seat frame, a foam pad coupled to the seat frame, and a trim cover coupled to the foam pad. The trim cover is coupled to the seat assembly by one or more attachments. The heater mat is arranged between the trim cover and the foam pad and includes a carrier sheet and a heating element coupled to the carrier sheet. The heater mat is secured to the seat assembly with a fastener system.
HOT MELT TAPE FOR HOOK-AND-LOOP FASTENERS WITHOUT SEWING AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING SEAT PADDING MATERIAL FOR VEHICLES USING THE SAME
Disclosed are a hot melt tape for hook-and-loop fasteners without sewing which may be adhered at a low temperature and complete hardening of an adhesive resin in a short time and a method for manufacturing a seat padding material for vehicles using the same. The method includes preparing the padding material and a hook-and-loop fabric, preparing a hot melt tape having a hot melt resin layer by coating a surface of a release paper with a reactive hot melt resin having a melting point of 40-80° C. before reacting, adhering the hot melt tape to a surface of the padding material by applying heat of a temperature of 30-70° C. and pressure thereto, removing the release paper, adhering the hook-and-loop fabric to the exposed hot melt resin layer, and hardening the hot melt resin layer by cooling the padding material and the hook-and-loop fabric to a temperature of 0-20° C.
