SEAT ASSEMBLY, TRIM COVER ASSEMBLY, AND METHOD OF ASSEMBLING
A trim assembly is provided with a first trim member having a first finished surface and a second surface opposite thereto, a second trim member in contact with the second surface of the first trim member and attached to the first trim member via a first join, and a third trim member in contact with the second trim member and attached to the second trim member via a second join, the second join unaligned with the first join. The third trim member extends outwardly from the second trim member to a distal end having a first retainer. An assembly with a seat member and a trim assembly, and a seat are provided. In various non-limiting examples, the trim assembly may provide the desired shape of the seat, maintain durability and appearance, prevent looseness, and allow for use of a common seat member with trim assemblies of various appearances.
TRIM COVER AND VEHICLE SEAT
A trim cover for a seat includes: a high extensible skin material; and a low extensible skin material. A joint part of the edge portion of the high extensible skin material and the edge portion of the low extensible skin material has a plurality of highly extensible protrusions and a plurality of low extensible protrusions, the plurality of highly extensible protrusions and the plurality of low extensible protrusions are each formed in a sharp tapered shape and are arranged alternately in an extending direction of the joint part, and at least a part of a boundary line between the highly extensible protrusion and the low extensible protrusion, which are adjacent in the extending direction of the joint part, is deviated from a line segment formed by connecting respective tips of the highly extensible protrusion and the low extensible protrusion to the low extensible protrusion side.
VEHICLE SEAT
The present disclosure relates to a vehicle seat having a seat pad and a planar seat cover. The seat cover may include a plurality of the skin materials and at least one seam allowance formed by sewing the adjacent skin materials each other. The seam allowance includes end portions of the adjacent skin materials projecting from a back surface of the seat cover. The seat pad may include a plurality of recessed grooves and an intersecting area of the grooves. The skin material may include a high-rigidity portion disposed at the intersecting area and configured to cover at least one of the corners formed at the intersecting area. The high-rigidity portion may include a planer overlapping portion laid over a back surface of the skin material.
Interior equipment
An interior equipment including: a sewn portion where seam allowances of first and second covers are overlapped in a state where front surface thereof face each other; a regulating member which regulates a falling direction of a leg portion of a piping, wherein the regulating member is attached to a second cover side of the sewn portion and protrudes from an end of the sewn portion, and wherein, in a state of being pressed against a corner portion of a pad member, the regulating member falls toward the first cover together with the leg portion of the piping which is co-sewn to the sewn portion, and thereby a portion of the first cover which is folded back at a seam is arranged to be overlapped with the sewn portion on the corner portion in a state of being raised by a head portion of the piping.
Vehicle seat
A vehicle seat comprises: a seatback pad that configures a cushion member of a seatback, with an opening into which a connector of a child seat can be inserted from a seat front formed so as to penetrate through a lower end section of the seatback pad in a seat front-rear direction, and a front end of the opening having a width along a seat width direction that is narrower than a seat width direction width of the connector; a connection member that is provided at a seat rear side with respect to the front end of the opening, and to which the connector inserted into the opening is to be connected; and an elastic member that is provided at the seatback pad.
COVERING SYSTEM FOR MOTOR VEHICLE SEAT MEMBER AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING SUCH A COVERING SYSTEM
A method for manufacturing a covering system for a motor vehicle seat member includes the steps of: providing a support, a cover and a pad; associating the support with the cover, the pad being left free between the support and the cover; and creating longitudinal seam lines, one on either side of the pad. The longitudinal seam lines join together the support and the cover. The longitudinal seam lines form straight segments, extending in a transverse direction towards the first pad, and join together the support, the cover, and the first pad.
Seat for automobile
A seat for automobile in which a back board equipped with a base material and a cover for covering that base material is attached to a back side of a seat back, wherein the back board has a first region in which a first member of the base material is set, and a second region that is softer than the first region, and a coupling member for coupling the back board to the seat back is attached to the second region.
Motor vehicle seat headrest
A headrest comprising a mounting frame on a backrest of a seat, a mounting structure for a loudspeaker, the structure being associated in the upper portion of the frame, the loudspeaker associated with the structure, a block of elastically compressible padding material covering the structure, the block being provided with a conduit configured to allow the sound emitted by the loudspeaker to propagate, a covering cover fitted over the block, the cover being provided with an orifice positioned facing the conduit, a grating for covering the orifice, the grating comprising a peripheral overhang covering a peripheral strip of the cover extending at the periphery of the orifice, a thickness of the padding material extending in alignment with the strip, the headrest further comprising a washer configured to stiffen the strip, the washer having an internal periphery of geometry analogous to that of the orifice, the overhang extending facing the washer.
EXCESSIVE PULL-IN PREVENTION SUSPENDER FOR SEAT COVER SUSPENSION MEMBER AND VEHICLE SEAT USING THE SAME
To prevent wrinkles from occurring on the outer skin member, in a vehicle seat including a urethane pad on which a groove is formed, a fixing member being embedded in the groove; trim covers covering a surface of the urethane pad; a suspender to suspend the trim covers sewn to each other for connection in the groove; and a plurality of tying members to tie the suspender with the fixing member, the suspender is provided with a seat cover suspension member and a reinforcement piece fixed to an edge portion of the seat cover suspension member, a number of slits are formed along the reinforcement piece at a portion of the seat cover suspension member where the reinforcement piece is fixed, and the plurality of tying members tie the suspender with the fixing member with a part of each of the tying members in abutment with the reinforcement piece.
Vehicle seat
A vehicle seat including: a seat pad; and a seat cover including: a first cover piece and a second cover piece which are arranged adjacent to each other; and a sewn portion, wherein the first cover piece includes a general portion which forms a design surface of the seat and a thin end portion which projects from an edge of the general portion and has a thickness smaller than a thickness of the general portion, and wherein in the sewn portion in a tilted state, the thin end portion is bent back towards a back side of the general portion so as to form a lateral U shape, and a part of the thin end portion which is arranged at a back side thereof serves as a seam allowance of the first cover piece and is overlapped with and sewn to a seam allowance of the second cover piece.
