Conveyance seat and seat cover for the same
A conveyance seat may include a seat pad, a first recess and a second recess formed in the seat pad. The first recess may have a pad-side engaging member disposed therein. The second recess may have no pad-side engaging member disposed therein. The conveyance seat may include a seat cover configured to cover the seat pad, the seat cover including a plurality of cover pieces, a first stitched portion and a second stitched portion projecting from the seat cover. At the first and second stitched portions, adjacent cover pieces may meet. The first stitched portion may have a cover-side engaging member configured to engage the pad-side engaging member. The second stitched portion may have no cover-side engaging member and may intersect with the first stitched portion at an intersection point. The conveyance seat may include a reinforcement member attached to the second stitched portion and bestriding the intersection point.
VEHICLE SEATING SYSTEM AND METHOD
A seating system for a vehicle and a method for producing a seating system include a seat part having a cushion and a support material disposed on a surface of the cushion. An elongated member is attached to one side of the support material to create a channel in the opposite side, and a trim material is positioned over the support material to create a concavity in the trim material along the channel.
End member for fastening cover material
There is provided a cover-material fastening end member including a band-shaped member and a locking member. The locking member is formed such that a width thereof in a direction perpendicular to a surface of the band-shaped member is wider than a width of the band-shaped member. The locking member includes: a center plate-shaped portion, a flange portion, and a plurality of rib portions. The flange portion has a surface extending along a longitudinal direction of the end edge portion of the band-shaped member and perpendicular to a surface of the center plate-shaped portion. The rib portions each has a surface intersecting with the center plate-shaped portion and the flange portion. The rib portions are provided on the center plate-shaped portion along the longitudinal direction of the center plate-shaped portion at predetermined intervals.
Seat and seat trim structure for a vehicle and vehicle having same
A vehicle seat and seat structure for use with an ISOFIX bar is disclosed. The vehicle seat can include a bottom portion, a back portion, a trim portion located between the bottom portion and the back portion, and left and right ISOFIX bars located at the trim portion. A trim cover, made from a flexible material such as a carpet, fabric, or other known vehicle interior material, can extend from a left side of the seat to a right side of the seat and can include left and right openings configured to allow the ISOFIX bars to pass therethrough. A one-piece integrally molded member can be overmolded onto the flexible material trim cover, and can include left and right pocket indents. The left and right pocket indents can each include a slot configured to allow a respective ISOFIX bar to pass therethrough.
Car seat
In a car seat configured to cover a surface of a urethane pad by a trim cover, the trim cover is formed by sewing up a plural number of trim cover members with each other by chain stitch sewing, and by joining a surface on the back side of a portion where the plural number of the trim cover members are sewn up with each other by chain stitch sewing to a flat surface of the surface of the urethane pad by an adhesive.
Knitted-in laces for shaping and fitting textiles and fabrics
A textile comprising: i) a fabric including a laced region associated with a surface of the textile; and ii) a thread inlaid through a plurality of points proximate a perimeter of the laced region. Tightening the thread causes opposite sides of the laced region to be cinched together, thereby forming the laced region into a flap associated with a second surface of the textile opposite the first surface. The textile further comprises a listing wire disposed in the flap. The fabric forms a plurality of perforations within the laced region. The listing wire may be accessed by an attachment device through at least one of the plurality of perforations.
Excessive pull-in prevention suspender for seat cover suspension member and vehicle seat using the same
To prevent wrinkles from occurring on the outer skin member, in a vehicle seat including a urethane pad on which a groove is formed, a fixing member being embedded in the groove; trim covers covering a surface of the urethane pad; a suspender to suspend the trim covers sewn to each other for connection in the groove; and a plurality of tying members to tie the suspender with the fixing member, the suspender is provided with a seat cover suspension member and a reinforcement piece fixed to an edge portion of the seat cover suspension member, a number of slits are formed along the reinforcement piece at a portion of the seat cover suspension member where the reinforcement piece is fixed, and the plurality of tying members tie the suspender with the fixing member with a part of each of the tying members in abutment with the reinforcement piece.
VEHICLE SEAT
A vehicle seat comprises a seating portion and a back rest the angle of inclination is adjustable in relation to the seating portion, where at least the back rest is of modular design made of a plurality of upholstered elements, the upholstered elements each comprising a preformed foam part surrounded, at least in part, by a cushion cover, the upholstered elements made in this manner are put together via fasteners in modular fashion to form the back rest adjustable in inclination.
TRIM ASSEMBLY ORNAMENTAL STITCHING
A seat assembly is provided with a frame, and a trim assembly oriented about the frame to conceal the frame. The trim assembly is provided with a first trim panel, a second trim panel, and a structurally reinforced seam with piping along an intersection of the first trim panel and the second trim panel. Ornamental stitching is provided along an exterior length of the structurally reinforced seam and incrementally traverses the structurally reinforced seam to interconnect the first trim panel and the second trim panel along the structurally reinforced seam, and to provide an ornamental stitching appearance to the structurally reinforced seam.
Seat
The present invention provides a seat formed by bonding a trim cover to a foam pad, in which a sewing part of a trim cover can be bonded to a foam pad even when the trim cover is of leather. In a seat formed by bonding a trim cover to a foam pad, the trim cover includes a sewing part where plural trim covers are sewn up, raw material that is impregnated with an adhesive is sewn to the sewing part, and the foam pad and the raw material having been sewn are bonded to each other by the adhesive.
