System for correcting passenger's posture in autonomous vehicle
Disclosed is a system for correcting a passenger's posture in an autonomous vehicle, wherein the system includes a camera configured to measure a distance between a headrest and a head of the passenger, a plurality of body pressure sensors configured to be uniformly embedded across an entire area of the seat and sense body pressures of the passenger, a pressurizing device configured to be expandably installed inside a seatback and press between T10 and T12 of a thoracic spine of the passenger, and a controller configured to control an operation of the pressurizing device on the basis of the distance measured by the camera and a scapular pressure of the passenger, which is sensed by the plurality of body pressure sensors.
Apparatus for a seat, more particularly a vehicle seat, for mobilizing at least one region of a spinal column of a seat occupant, method for sequentially driving an apparatus and seat, more particularly vehicle seat
An apparatus for a vehicle seat for mobilizing at least one region of a spinal column of a seat occupant sitting in the seat may have a plurality of expandable elements, which may be each filled or fillable with a medium. The expandable elements are drivable sequentially. A method for sequentially driving the apparatus and and a vehicle seat are also provided.
Additive manufactured cushioned component
A seat assembly includes a cushioned component having a lattice matrix. An air bladder assembly is covered by the lattice matrix. The air bladder assembly includes a plurality of air bladders supported on a platform assembly. Each air bladder includes a body portion operable between deflated and inflated conditions. Each air bladder includes a connection stem. A support plate includes a plurality of access apertures disposed therethrough. The air bladder assembly is operably coupled to the support plate. Each air bladder is aligned with at least one access aperture of the plurality of access apertures. A carrier assembly includes a plurality of mounting apertures disposed through an outer surface thereof. The carrier assembly receives the connection stem of each air bladder through at least one mounting aperture of the plurality of mounting apertures. Each air bladder may include a release valve for releasing air therethrough.
Staggered pneumatic articulation system for seat back deployment and comfort
In embodiments, an aircraft passenger seat assembly includes a seatback assembly including one or more lateral seatback sections. In embodiments, at least one lateral seatback section includes a base seatback panel coupled to a seatback frame, a first set of segmented seatback panels coupled to the base seatback panel, and a second set of segmented seatback panels coupled to the first set of segmented seatback panels. In embodiments, the aircraft passenger seat assembly further includes a plurality of actuatable assemblies, wherein the plurality of actuatable assemblies include a first set of actuatable assemblies configured to selectively actuate the first set of segmented seatback panels relative to the base seatback panel, and a second set of actuatable assemblies configured to selectively actuate the second set of segmented seatback panels relative to the first set of segmented seatback panels.
VEHICLE SEAT
A vehicle seat provided in a vehicle includes: a seat body including a seat cushion and a seatback; an occupant support device displaceably provided on the seat body to press an occupant seated on the seat body; a notification device provided on the seat body to make notification to the occupant; an information acquisition device that acquires information including at least one of a surrounding environment of the vehicle and a driving state of the vehicle; and a control device that controls the occupant support device and the notification device based on the information. The notification device may be provided on the occupant support device. When the vehicle turns, the control device may cause the vibrator disposed on a side opposite from the turning direction to vibrate.
FLUID SYSTEM FOR A VEHICLE SEAT ASSEMBLY
A seat assembly is provided with a pump for a fluid system, such as an air system. The pump has a housing with a wall surrounding a recess, with the housing defining an inlet passage and an outlet passage. A diaphragm is positioned through the wall with a distal end within the recess, and with the inlet and outlet passages in fluid communication with an opening to the pumping chamber of the diaphragm. A cam is supported for movement along a path about a central axis within the recess, and is connected to the distal end region of the diaphragm. The cam alternately moves the distal end region radially outwardly from the central axis to compress the pumping chamber and provide flow to the outlet passage, and moves the distal end region radially inwardly towards the central axis to expand the pumping chamber and provide flow into the pumping chamber.
Seating apparatus
Aspects of the present invention relate to a seat cushion (1) including a compressible member (15) and at least one insert (16). The insert (16) has one or more inflatable bladders (17-n). The at least one insert (16) is at least partially encapsulated within the compressible member (15). Further aspects of the present invention relate to a method of forming a seat cushion (1); a seat assembly (2) and a vehicle (V).
VEHICLE SEAT
Provided is to stabilize a fixed state of each bag body provided at a vehicle seat and configured to expand to push a corresponding one of the shoulders of a seated passenger. Of a seat back provided at the vehicle seat, each shoulder support configured to support a corresponding one of the shoulders of the seated passenger includes an air cell configured to expand by injection of air. The air cell includes protrusions extending in a predetermined direction and provided at respective end portions of the air bag in the extending direction thereof. The air cell is attached to the inside of the seat back in such a manner that each of the protrusions provided at respective end portions in the extending direction is fixed to a corresponding one of fixing positions separated from each other in the width direction of the vehicle seat.
Custom controlled seating surface technologies
A system of controlling various actuators associated with human support surfaces is disclosed. Such a system is made up of a support surface, a controller, and an actuator. The system may optionally include batteries, a means of charging the batteries, and a graphical user interface as well as a communication link between the graphical user interface and the support surfaces. The actuators are capable of altering contour and/or firmness, of a support surface, they may be vibrational or heating/cooling in nature, and they may also alter the overall relative position of a support surface to another support surface, and/or to the ground plane.
