VEHICLE SEATING SYSTEM
A seating system for a vehicle having a vehicle body includes a seat bottom and a seat back. The seat bottom includes first and second attachments to the vehicle body, where the first attachment has a locked position for securing the seat bottom to the vehicle body and an unlocked position for facilitating detachment of the seat bottom from the vehicle body. The seat bottom is slidingly attachable to and detachable from the vehicle body at the second attachment when the first attachment is in the unlocked position. The seat back pivotably connected to and slidingly attachable to and detachable from the seat bottom.
Modular seat
An occupant support includes a seat frame and a module assembly. The module assembly is arranged to cover the seat frame.
SEAT RELEASE SYSTEM
The following invention relates to occupant recovery from an armoured land vehicle, and to a system for occupant recovery. There is provided a quick release seat system suitable for a vehicle, comprising a base element operably attached to a floor pan, said floor pan being rigidly affixed to the vehicle, a back element for supporting an occupant, wherein said base element and back element are rigidly affixed by at least one quick release mechanical clamp, such as to allow removal of said back element from the base element during an evacuation of the vehicle
Seat assembly with adhered brackets
A seat assembly having a seat bottom and a seat back. The seat bottom may have a pair of side members that are adhered to a seat bottom shell. The seat back may have a pair of brackets that may be adhered to a seat back shell. The seat bottom shell and the seat back shell may be made of carbon fiber.
Vehicle seat with secure interlocking panels
A vehicle seating unit comprising a seat frame, a back panel, and a seat panel, the seat frame has a horizontal portion adapted to receive the seat panel and a vertical portion adapted to receive the back panel. The seat panel and the back panel are attached to the horizontal portion and the vertical portion by a plurality of panel fasteners and seat frame fasteners. The back panel top edge is secured to the vertical portion by a retaining cap, while the seat panel front edge is secured to the seat frame by a retaining hook. The back panel and seat panel are positioned in an interlocking arrangement whereby the back panel lower edge pushes downwardly against the seat panel, preventing the seat panel rear edge from being detached. The panel and seat frame fasteners prevent disengagement by hand, but can be overcome by a lever to facilitate maintenance.
LOAD PATH-OPTIMIZED HYBRID SUPPORT STRUCTURE
A hybrid support structure for a backrest part of a vehicle seat or a back bench seat, which is formed from a metal structure and a plastic structure, the metal structure including at least one connecting profile disposed between two side rail profiles of the hybrid support structure. It is provided that the connecting profile, together with a central rib of a web structure designed as a plastic structure follows a load path-optimized main load line, which runs between two connecting points of the connecting profile on the side rail profiles, taking into account a force acting upon the hybrid support structure in at least one assumed load case.
Device comprising an adapter element
Device for connecting a region, which is lower when viewed in the vehicle seat height direction, of a backrest to a region, which is rear when viewed in the vehicle seat length direction, of a seat part of a vehicle seat, a tilt adjustment device which is rotatable about a first axis of rotation extending in the vehicle seat width direction for adjusting a tilt of the backrest relative to the seat part being connected to the seat part, wherein the device comprises an adapter element which is rigidly connected to the tilt adjustment device and is rotatable about the first axis of rotation, which element has a first recess which extends at a first angle to a backrest length direction, the first recess being able to be connected to a first tab which is arranged on the backrest and is formed so as to be complementary to the first recess.
Mounting device
A fastening apparatus, for a backseat bench of a motor vehicle, includes a housing installation with a fastening space for receiving a retaining section of a component to be fastened, wherein the housing installation is insertable in an assembly direction into a passage opening of a carrier component, and wherein the housing installation has an abutment section with an abutment surface extending transversely to the assembly direction at an end counter to the assembly direction for abutment on an edge of a carrier component facing counter to the assembly direction. A catching installation is provided with catching elements for connecting the fastening apparatus to a carrier component. The fastening apparatus further has a fastening installation with a catching means for releasably fixing a retaining section of a component to be fastened, wherein the fastening installation is arranged in front of the abutment section in the assembly direction.
Utility vehicle
A utility vehicle 100 includes a vehicle body 1, seats 4R having seat bottoms 41 and seat backs 42 attached to the vehicle body 1, and an electric component box 65 having an access opening 67 positioned at the rear of the seat back 42. The seat 4R further has a detacher 43 that detachably attaches the seat back 42 to the vehicle body 1.
Vehicle seat structure and method for assembling a vehicle seat structure
A vehicle seat structure for a vehicle seat may have a structural component having an inertia belt reel. The inertia belt reel may be arranged in a cavity of the structural component, and the structural component may be connected to at least one further component of the vehicle seat structure. A method for assembling such a vehicle seat structure may include providing a structural component having an inertia belt reel and at least one further component of the vehicle seat structure that are displaced and/or rotated relative to one another such that the structural component and the at least one further component of the vehicle seat structure take up an end position with respect to one another. In a further step, the structural component and the at least one further component of the vehicle seat structure are connected to one another in a form-fitting and/or integrally bonded and/or force-fitting manner.
