VEHICLE SEAT
A vehicle seat (100, 200), transferrable from a use position into a non-use position, includes a seat part (120, 220), a backrest (110, 210), and a base (140, 240). A front rocker (160, 260) is articulated via a first joint (I) on the base/adapter (150, 250) fixed to the base, and is articulated via a second joint (II) on the seat part with limited displaceability. A rear rocker (170, 270) is articulated via a third joint (III) on the base/adapter fixed to the base and is articulated via a fourth joint (IV) on the seat part. A locking device (162, 262) locks the first joint, the second joint or the fourth joint to lock the front rocker about the first joint. A fifth joint (V) pivotably connects the backrest to the rear rocker. A pivoting movement of the backrest about the fifth joint can be locked.
Arm rest frame, arm rest and method for producing an arm rest frame
An arm rest frame (1) includes at least one frame component (7, 8, 9, 11). The at least one frame component (7, 8, 9, 11) is made from a organosheet. An arm rest and a method for producing an arm rest frame (1) are also provided.
Seat provided with armrest
The present disclosure describes, in an armrest capable of being displaced between a stored position and a deployed position, a vehicular seat capable of preventing foreign matter from entering the interior thereof through a gap formed between the armrest (in particular, the vicinity of the center of displacement thereof) and a mounted portion. The present disclosure relates to a vehicular seat provided with an armrest. Both ends of a first shaft are pivotably supported by first holes formed in a plurality of guide members, and both ends of a second shaft are inserted into second holes to be movable along the holes. Between a side surface side of the armrest and the guide members, a plate member which covers at least a part of the second holes is provided.
Armrest incorporating variable volume storage compartment
An armrest includes a variable volume storage compartment defined within a first end wall, a second end wall and a telescoping sidewall. A related method of storing items within an armrest is also disclosed.
VEHICLE SEAT
A vehicle seat is thinned in a seat front to back direction. In the vehicle seat, a center seat has a seat back frame, a headrest which is provided above the seat back frame, a pillar which supports the headrest, and brackets which mount the pillar to the seat back frame. The pillar is arranged between the brackets and the seat back frame, the brackets have a weld bead which holds the pillar and a portion where a welding trace to be mounted to the seat back frame is formed, and the weld bead and the portion where the welding trace is formed are arranged at different positions in a direction which intersects a front to back direction of the center seat.
Lock for pivoting member in vehicle with push button release
A lock for a pivoting member in a vehicle comprising: a button having a depressed position and an undepressed position; a cam abutting the button having a rotated position and an un-rotated position; and a rod operably connected to the cam having an extended position and a retracted position; wherein, when the button is in the depressed position, the cam is in the rotated position, and the rod is in the retracted position. The pivoting member can be an armrest or a seatback, among other things. The rod includes a first grooved section. The cam includes a first finger adjacent to the first grooved section. As the cam transitions from the un-rotated position to the rotated position, the first finger of the cam interacts with the first grooved section of the rod to cause the rod to transition from the extended position to the retracted position.
FOLDABLE INSERT
A foldable insert for a vehicle component includes a first body portion, a second body portion, and a bridge extending from the first body portion to the second body portion. The first body portion includes a first groove disposed adjacent the bridge, and the second body portion includes a second groove disposed adjacent the bridge opposite the first groove.
VEHICLE INTERIOR
The invention relates to a passenger compartment (20) of a vehicle (10) comprising at least one seat (14, 15, 16, 17) and comprising a console (18) that can be placed laterally adjacent the seat.
The particularity is that at least one seat (14, 15) is designed to be adjustable such that it can be moved out of a first position in which it faces in the travel direction, and into a second position, and that at least part of the console (18) is mounted so as to be movable out of a primary position in which it is laterally adjacent the seat, into a secondary position in which it is outside the movement path of the seat during movement of the seat between the first position and the second position.
Inertia latch for a vehicle armrest using a spring loaded cam
A vehicle seating assembly includes an armrest having a retention pin and operable about a first pivot. An inertial lock is operable about a second pivot to define an idle position defined by the inertial lock biased distal from the retention pin and a deployed position defined by an opposing directional force biasing the inertial lock into selective engagement with the retention pin and holding the armrest in a predetermined rotational position.
Vehicle seat
A vehicle seat including a seat back including a back pad and a back cover, wherein the back pad has a recess portion opened forward, through holes penetrating in a front-and-rear direction are provided in an outer peripheral edge portion of a rear wall portion of the recess portion, and a board is mounted on a rear wall portion side of the back cover which covers the rear wall portion, wherein at least one protrusion portion extending toward an outer side in an in-plane direction of the rear wall portion is provided on a part of the board, and wherein the back cover covers an inner surface of the recess portion, and the at least one protrusion portion inserted into at least one of the through holes is engaged and mounted on a back surface portion of the back pad on an opposite side of the rear wall portion.
