SELF-RESET AND ANTI-REBOUND ARMREST
A lockable armrest assembly includes an armrest having a locking member protruding through an arc-shaped opening defined by a latch main body and moveable therein during rotation of the armrest. The lockable armrest assembly further includes a latch assembly operatively coupled to the latch main body, the latch assembly comprising a latch and a spring, the latch pivotably coupled to the latch main body, the spring resisting movement of the latch during acceleration events below a predetermined acceleration threshold to maintain the latch in a non-blocking position, the latch moveable to a blocking position relative to the arc-shaped opening of the latch main body to block movement of the locking member of the armrest in response to an acceleration event greater than the predetermined acceleration threshold to lock the lockable armrest in a stowed condition.
Seat Assemblies Having Resettable Armrests
A seat assembly including a seat frame, an armrest pivotally coupled to the seat frame, a stopper, and an engagement member. The armrest pivots between a use position and a drop down position below the use position in a vertical direction. In the use position, the armrest is configured to support an arm of a user. The engagement member contacts the stopper in the use position to inhibit movement of the armrest from the use position toward the drop down position. The engagement member is configured to deform against the stopper upon application of a predetermined force to allow the armrest to move from the use position toward the drop down position.
Work vehicle
A wheel loader representing a work vehicle includes an operator's seat, an armrest, and a seat operation portion. The armrest is provided lateral to the operator's seat. The seat operation portion controls a position or a posture of the operator's seat. The seat operation portion is attached to the armrest.
Handrail structure
A handrail member is in a deployed state and at a so-called usable position when a tip portion of the handrail member is arranged between a sliding door and a lateral portion of a vehicle. Moreover, by making the handrail member usable, a passenger can place his or her hand on the handrail member when getting on or off the vehicle. As a result, it is possible to help the passenger get on/off the vehicle. In this manner, by turning the handrail member along a vehicle width direction around a bolt, the handrail member can be deployed and stored with a simple configuration.
Vehicle seating systems
An alternative seating arrangement of a vehicle with a variety of vehicle restraints and occupant safety systems that are associated with the alternative seating arrangement. Many embodiments include rear facing and side facing seats.
SINGLE CONTROL CONSOLE MOUNTED ARMREST
A console mounted armrest includes an adjustable post to raise and lower the armrest, and a linkage. The linkage defines the tilt of the armrest with respect to the post. A single control mechanism controls the motion of the post, and thereby also controls the tilt of the armrest to maintain a desirable orientation with respect to the sidestick. The control mechanism defines multiple positive lock-out positions with respect to the post such that the control mechanism will always engage one of the positive lock-out positions.
ROTATABLE ARMREST AND CONSOLE ASSEMBLY PROVIDED WITH THE SAME
Provided are a rotatable armrest and a console assembly provided with the rotatable armrest. The rotatable armrest includes a case, a knob system, and a hinge system, in which the knob system and the hinge system are mounted in the case. The hinge system includes a counterbalance shaft, and the rotatable armrest may be rotatable about the counterbalance shaft and fixed in a first position, a second position, and a third position. In the first position, the rotatable armrest is positioned in a folded down position, in the second position, the rotatable armrest is positioned in a horizontally forward-facing position, and in the third position, the rotatable armrest is positioned in a horizontally backward-facing position.
APPARATUS FOR ADJUSTING POSITION OF ARMREST HAVING CONTROL PANEL FOR VEHICLE
Provided is an apparatus for adjusting a position of an armrest having a control panel for a vehicle, the apparatus in which an armrest assembly having a control panel is mounted on a side member of a seat cushion in a manner that is enabled to ascend and descend and in which the control panel is mounted on an armrest assembly in such a manner that a position in the backward-forward direction and a slope of the control panel are adjustable. With the apparatus, an armrest, a controller, and the like can be easily adjusted to desired positions and heights thereof according to an occupant's physical condition.
Occupant protection device
An occupant protection device for a vehicle includes: a collision predictor configured to predict a collision of the vehicle; a main airbag configured to deploy toward an occupant from a front of the vehicle when the collision predictor predicts a collision of the vehicle; an occupant center-of-gravity detecting device configured to detect a position of a center of gravity of the occupant; an armrest moving device configured to move an armrest; and a deployment controller configured to cause, when the collision predictor predicts a collision of the vehicle, the armrest moving device to move the armrest upward to guide the center of gravity of the occupant into a proper range on the basis of the position of the center of gravity of the occupant detected by the occupant center-of-gravity detecting device, subsequently cause the armrest moving device to remove the armrest, and thereafter, cause the main airbag to deploy.
Armrest for car seats
The present disclosure relates to an armrest for car seats including a connection bracket coupled to a car seat, a rest body connected to the connection bracket so as to be turnable about a fourth axis of rotation, a third cam connected to the rest body so as to be turnable about the fourth axis of rotation, a gas cylinder connected to the third cam, the gas cylinder being configured to be extended and contracted in a longitudinal direction, and a manipulation button installed at the rest body, the manipulation button being configured to manipulate the gas cylinder.
